the heat and hot water will make the pipe more flexable and should cause the pipe to settle into the turns and should fit the groves and gruves better, but temp setting would freezing over here in the USA we use f. not C
The only thing that matters is the finished floor temperature. The max floor temperature is 29.5°C, people don't like it above that. So water temperature needs to be something that doesn't make it go above that. You did a great job and are going to love it!
A fascinating method of installing underfloor heating. It earned a mixed feeling from users of old systems 50 years or more ago in my country. I think it was not always installed with the right thoughts about water temperatures and those systems wee possibly run unbalanced, too hot in some places and too cool elsewhere. Warm air earned a similar reputation as that was done on the cheap. You have put a great deal of thought into this room space with Despina ensuring that it was all kept clean and tidy as the work went on. Two hard workers getting things doe well.
oouhh! A new tradesman grade router - VERY nice 😊👍You're at the point where you should upgrade to quality tools as the old wear out. They will improve the quality of your finished product. I hope you can find a decoupling membrane to lay on top of the osb so your tiles do not crack. You can fill the the area around the pipes with thin-set so they are locked in place and you have more conductive surface. When you do your tile layout, remember to start in the center of the room. I hope you can match the sun room finished floor height to the hallway finished floor height for a no-trip transition. Nice job with the PEX installation! Staying focused really works for you 😊 How do you fee about building your stairway to the second floor in your front doorway addition? Time to start thinking about where it fits best With underfloor heat, that room will be very comfortable, too And it would make for a beautiful entry foyer ♥
That was amazing to watch !!! You are so impressive ❤🎉❤🎉❤ Poopoo watching from the window was so cute too 🥰 Awesome 😎 Heated floors !!! And…. Possibly heated chicken coop too ? !!!! ❤
Underfloor heating systems need the mass of the cement screed above to store energy. Also they need an automated boiler or a storage tank. But I'm curious to see how this turns out.
It's very good in concrete and stores more heat indeed, but this lazier way still works while the heating is on and the floors currently are at 29 degrees Celsius and works great with the thermostatic valve and no need for any complicated automated system or expensive thermostats. I think the concrete version will be a lot better but this is fast and simple way and feels good to have nice and warm feet.
Good day, I'm sure you're already done, but before you put the floor down if you run some hot water through as a test it'll probably relax the tube enough to stay where you put it then if you run some cool water after that it may Heat set it into place for you. Then you won't need the tape or the staples in the Sub-floor before you put your finished floor down...?
It’s a pity it is not a warm day outside, may have been easy to put the pipe out to warm up to help lay it out easier. Your a very smart man. Could run weekend classes to help with cash..😂❤❤
Some duct-tape over the pipes all the way lengthwise and corners. Or just at certain points crosswise, points like the corners, corner edges and some crosswise in between corners just to keep it all down/ in place.
Just wondering, maybe hydroisolation was needed on concrete before installing all other layers as it will suck up moisture from ground and it will stuck between concrete and insolation in room...
Because some of the tubing it too high and you might have problems laying the new floor on top.To bad you were not aware of the heating coils used under tile and stone floors to heat the floor. You would lay it on top of the OSB and staple it to the OSB and then put the new floor over it. The type I am talking about uses electricity to heat and not water.
This pipe not for floor heating!!!!!!It have metal inside for more heat stay in pipe. For floor heating simple plastic red pipe in DEPO and it cost mušt cheaper
so wonderful video.. pex pvc pipe thermostat.. whew!! i just get some meaningful wonderful goal.. frankly i broke all very nice copper pipe plumbing connection at my old house because i didnt drained water in winter while i didnt stay. and i hired guys to install pvc water system. but the plumber connect pvc pipe to old copper pipe wrongly. now i do not have hot water. i play golf to use hot water at golf course but now golf course will close soon for winter. I will not get hot water soon. 1. i saw JB adhesive in your video i will try to fix pvc-copper connection with JB 2. I got inspiration to dig a cave 3m deep 5m long 1m wide in my 4000m2 garden covered with bushes and weeds and use underground warm air to heat solar copper heat pipe elements filled with alcohol. so i heat heat pipe element with hot air from underground when warm air vent tiny hole it become very hot. maybe i can warm green house or anymal places.. i am 63 now. i want to start a life as you guys are do. not pursuing making money sacrificing our free will. i want to live following my free will. your guys are great example for me.. Keep going..

You're doing a great job
Did you have the floor piping in a warmer area of the house before using? It would be easier to flex the pipe.
Good job, looks professional.

Let’s get them to 100k so the chickens and geese can have heat in the coop! Challenge accepted!
תודה ❤❤❤
Maybe foam tape will hold in place.
Love❤ to see your animals join you in your work at home 😂 Micke Sweden
You are going to want these heated floors throughout the house!
Just wondering, maybe hydroisolation was needed on concrete before installing all other layers as it will suck up moisture from ground and it will stuck between concrete and insolation in room...

All they would have to do is put down 1 inch by 1 inch slats to raise the floor above the piping, right? Makes sense in my head anyway. LOL
