- Опубліковано 6 сер 2024
- A new flying revolution is expected to take to the skies this year, with Air New Zealand poised to launch its long-awaited 'Skynest.' While all the bells and whistles are usually reserved for the front of the aircraft, this new era of comfort is destined for the economy class passenger.

I’m sure the FA’s aren’t too excited to now be chambermaids.
Don’t they do that in business and first class anyhow
@@gordonc2792 Don’t believe they have ever needed to change sheets and pillowcases
@@grriceman782of course they do. They are trained to make the bed for business and first class
Hopefully the other ones near you don’t snore :)
The jet noise would still be louder!
If I hire one and fall asleep. My snoring will keep all the other people awake.😅😅
This is so true for me!
Engine noise will make you hear nothing
About 9 months plus after the bunk bed deployment,
....looking forward to hearing about the first child conceived in the bunk beds :)
Imagine being sound asleep and then after 4 hours woken up to be told that you have to return to your cramped economy seat? I didn't think so.
then book first class.
@@dariusjamsetjee9468 think first before you reply.... if our good man here would first class then he would not book the bunk bed, would he....
No kanoodling? Kinda the entire point isn't it ? 🙂
Wow!
Great idea
Nice 😊
Cool!!+
Great idea, hopefully this option will appear all the flight over ten hours.😊
Good on you Air NZ !improving comfort in Economy Class
Great idea. Love Air NZ. ❤
That price tag… doesn’t feel worth it. You can pay for two very nice long isolated and restful hotel stays either side of the long flight with that money.
Will they be located on the main deck in exchange for seats, toilets or galley space? Or do will there be some sort of A340-600 style lower deck compartment for that?
Galley space.
Love the innovation. Pity about the canoodling. Give it time.
Won't the reading light bother other users? Shouldn't it reserved for sleeping?
Wonder what happens if someone wets the bed
4 hours only!?
Can you book 8 hours for double the price?
Four hours maximum. You can book less though.
@@rogerhargreaves2272 That doesn't answer the question
At that point business class flat beds are cheaper.
@@der.Schtefan what planet are you getting business class seating on?
Main cabin economy seat lets say high at 2000 + 400 for the bed. 2400
Business class seating 6000-8000 in the mid to low range, booked months in advance.
@@der.Schtefanyeahhh, no 😂
Los Angelezzzz...
The idea is great but i would just prefer my seat
Did Air Mauritius already do this years ago?
Looks and feels claustrophobic and too close to others for comfort... Wonder how well it will be accepted.
Frankly, i’d rather pay for premium economy than pay for this
Nice but how about when your neigbour snoring like abroken engine?
I've done 13 hrs in economy it's doable
The pressure to fall asleep and get your money's worth is surely enough to keep most people awake...
Absolutely 4hrs is alp I need
No canoodling??! Now where’s the fun in that? 😒
The passengers will be fighting over the top bunk. Great idea.
Will the cabin crew tuck you in ?
What.
$100/hr?
fly business class then
$250 for lying down for 4 hrs ????
Bargain when compared to Business class fares.
They look big enough for two or three hobbits to canoodle.
Oh the FA's are gonna have fun trying to get Karen outta there when her time's up...
Good place to fart
No. 😂😂
Dont think it will be practical for most people (listening to snoring, ...)
If I cannot cuddle my Siberian lady while flying, then better watch me walk away.
Bye.
@@lours6993 Too late, I'm long gone by now
Two thumbs down, why would any UA-cam channel promote the 787 Nightmare Liner.
