Berbick Knockout was a top KO too, too many to mention! Tyson was a beast in the 80s 🥊
His best ko’s? Or best opponents? If your talking straight ko’s it’s definitely Thomas, Berbick, Holmes because they were good knocks outs, but all were quality opposition too. The ko of Carl ‘the truth’ Williams is not better than the ko over Henry Tillman. Williams had a better pro career & it was the better win than Henry Tillman, enen though Tillman was an Olympic Gold Medalist. The Tillman Ko was definitely more devastating. The ko of Johnson was pretty devastating also.
I'd stick the botha Ko in there over thomas. Short 1 punch ko out of absolutely nowhere.
It was a more devastating shot but the Thomas Ko was more beautiful. The speed & accuracy of shots was amazing. Thomas had a granite chin too which is why it wasn’t a Botha type ko. Thomas when focused was an extremely good fighter. Amazing jab, hard as nails. One of Tyson’s best wins imo. When Mike fought Botha he looked shot. It was arguably the worst I’ve ever seen him for 5 rounds. He lost every round and was getting beat. It was the fight directly after Holyfield 2 so he had two fights back to back. The. Had a ban& was inactive for 2 years. He looked terrible until the ko.
Which is why the ko was better. Shot to shit but pulled out of the bag
Wouldn't be in my top 5 Botha wasn't a great opponent at that time and Tyson wasn't great either
