+halsey colors The first book City of Bones is a bit slow and it takes a while to get into it but once you read the next book you will be hooked. Even if you think City of Bones is the worst book you've read in the universe just keep going.
+halsey colors those books changed my life and you fall in love with the characters and the shadowhunting world. I highly recommend finishing this book and going on with the series. I wish I could relive the moments because I was spoiled by the series when I read them from shadowhunters wikia(DO NOT GO THERE) :(.Just get through City of Bones you will love the rest of the series and read the tdi series also!!

That was was awesome, gritty, gory, realistic, if you're looking for any pre-post apocalyptic novels, highly recommended

I read both of the books a couple months before then, and I just had to get them. I wanted to get Alienated and Invaded, but B&N didn't have them in :/ Still excited to have the two I got! You should read Ken Follet's trilogy "The Century" if you're into historical fiction! They're soooooo good!! The first book (Fall of Giants) is based in WWI, the second (Winter of the World) in WWII and the third one in the Cold War (Edge of Eternity). In each book there are about 5 or 6 perspectives from different characters of different countries, and the main characters in each book change, so you get to meet new personalities every time (but you still need to read each book cronologically because characters of the other books appear, but older). And of course there is a lot of romance too! ;) The books are kinda of lenghty tho.. around 800 to 1000 pages(?) but they're sooo worthy!!
For Christmas I got the Infernal Devices boxed set, The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender, The Queen of the Tearling, and A Great and Terrible Beauty and I also bought myself a bunch of books haha. I'm currently reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone and I love it so much I can't wait to read the next two in the trilogy

Have you read or even heard of a book called The Summer of My German Soldier? I can't remember who it's by but I read it in high school for a book report and absolutely loved it, I know you like the World War 2 era stuff and this I think you would like. it would definitely be something I would pick for leisure reading not just for mandatory school reading.
Between Shades of Grey is such an incredible book. I met the author in 2014, and she is basically one of the coolest people out there. Definitively check out her other book, Out of the Easy, if you liked the first one.

I read 61 books books in 2015 which was 20 books less than in 2014, but I read a bunch of longer books so maybe that balances it out??

I'll have to read the Lux series (I've never read any of the author's books but she's on my list of authors to read). And I'd just like to say thank you for inspiring me to get into book vlogging - I'm going to begin a channel this year and I hope it goes well!
Have you read or even heard of a book called The Summer of My German Soldier? I can't remember who it's by but I read it in high school for a book report and absolutely loved it, I know you like the World War 2 era stuff and this I think you would like. it would definitely be something I would pick for leisure reading not just for mandatory school reading.
Between Shades of Grey is such an incredible book. I met the author in 2014, and she is basically one of the coolest people out there. Definitively check out her other book, Out of the Easy, if you liked the first one.
Good luck with 100 books! My goal is set at 50 but I'll be surprised if I get there because of school.

I gave myself a reading goal of 25 books this year - I'm hoping to hit and maybe even surpass that. I'm already on the third book of the year. I haven't had a reading goal since high school but then I had a lot more time. I always had my nose in a book.

My parents never get me books for Christmas, because they worry that they might get me a book I already own.
It takes me a lot of days to finish a book because every time I try to read, it triggers my OCD and I would end up rereading and rereading the same sentence/word/paragraph until I decide that I can't continue it anymore 😔 Living with OCD is hard.

currently reading The Walled City because i found it at my local library but i don't know how i feel!! i wanted Wolf By Wolf but started with this book. Not sure if i want to pick it up because of how i feel about TWC
I study History at University and am going to be writing my dissertation on something to do with WW2 so maybe I'm a bit biased but History is so funnnnn!! :) PS. the HP colouring book is so good!
my favorite book series right now is the Murder She Baked/Hannah Swensen series by Joanne Fluke. I LOVE coloring books.
I have a goodreads goal of about 100 books this year too! Sadly I only got three (technically two because I already had one of them) books for Christmas this year, but I got Talon and Cinder. I finished Talon in like 4 hours total (it was sooooooo good) and cinder is on my tbr list after outlander. Currently about to start the 5th wave before I see the movie so I'm excited about that
