I've read Harry Potter nine times I think now (I started them ten years ago when I was four so) but I totally recommend them because they go so much deeper than it seems (aka it's not a children's book as advertised). The books also get darker as they continue, so the last three have really deep parts and it's amazing. I hope you enjoy them!
Same haha. People usually read a lot on christmas break and all this free time, but I usually read less than I would on normal months. Am I the only one?
carlos lara I read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! I really wanna start The Lunar Chronicles, but I'm not a big fan of Sci-fi, do you think I will like it anyways? :)
You definitely can re read harry potter! I grew up with it, started the first book at age 8, ended it when I was 14 I think? and now I'm currently reading it again (fully!) for the second time haha. I read the first one about 4 times but this time I am going to fully re read the entire series :D
+take_it_isi that's true but it is a really beautifull trilogie and the characters in there are so more likeable then in tmi. I actually cared about all of them and even though i cried for like a half hour after finishing clockwork princess i really do think it's one of the best endings i've ever read and i like it A LOT more then tmi
+Asma Ouafi I agree, it's an incredible good series and I love the characters but I love them as much as I love the characters from tmi. But every single tear I cried for tid was worth it.
I'll be reading Clockwork Angel and City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare, The Rose Society by Marie Lu and I'll be re-reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I hope that I can complete my TBR for January. :-D
Clockwork angel is sooooo good the whole trilogie is sooo good and city of fallen angels is really good too it isn't anymore JUST about clary and jace but about all the characters
I read 8 books during my 2 week break, which i am really proud of, considering i only had the time to read 20 pages tops each day in the 3 weeks leading up to break
I really love Love Rosie/ Where Rainbows End. I actually went out and bought more of her book when I finished it about a year and a half ago and I still love it. I think it's a very marmitey book. You either like it or you don't.
I read a lot of amazing books this December so I can't decide which one was the best one... I read The Whispers Of The Fallen, Let It Snow and My True Love Gave To Me: Twelve Holiday Stories. They were all amazing!! This month I would love to read Will Grayson, Will Grayson and The Rest Of Us Just Live Here😍😍 and also get to read Through The Dark, Passenger and Truthwitch or at least purchase them😍😍
The Martian is so awesome! I should also mention that I just read Outlander, and it's all thanks to your videos. Despite seeing those books on every bookstore shelf since forever, I had never read them because I had never heard a single thing about them at all. Somehow, I never knew anyone who read them. So because you mentioned Outlander, I decided to read it, and I'm so glad I did.
I'm reading the martian right now and it's such a beautiful and easy read! I really love how it's written. Normaly I'm a really slow reader but with the martian it's so easy to understand and I just love it!
sasha, just wanted to let you know that you are so good in doing what you do, and you have so much energy and joy... I was so sad about something that happened and then I watched this video and I just got so much happier and it meant the world to me because I was really on a bad time... thank you ❤️
Good job on your last months reads, most of them sounded great. I completely agree with you about Love, Rosie I also tried reading it in December and was initially enjoying it but them it just kept dragging and when I thought it was time for the book to wrap up and tie up the loose ends, I was still only halfway through. So I gave up cause I didn't want to force myself to read something I was not enjoying. It has so much potential to be amazing but yes it was way too long. Your January TBR sounds awesome BTW! Hopefully gonna pick up Curio and join you guys for the live show!
Did you know the ebook version of oblivion has Onyx and Opal from Daemons POV too! I looked it up Jennifer L Armentrout said they couldn't release all 3 in print cause the book would be too long! I read all three on my kindle and they were so good! Definitely recommend its like reading the series for the first time!
I started January with Cinder (I started it at the end of December) by Marissa Meyer, I then read Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raash followed by Paper Towns. I'm currently reading Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. I also plan to read Scarlet, Cress, and Winter by Marissa Meyer.
Two of my favorite books this month has been ones you had recommended a long time ago, which were The Kiss of Deception and These Broken Stars. Thanks for the awesome recommendations!
I'll be reading Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas, Wolf by Wolf and probably the fifth Harry Potter book as well. My favorite I've read thus far in December was Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas
the harry potter books never get old. I've reread them all a dozen times and STILL look forward to rereading them. I can't wait for you to read the martian! I loved the movie and I"m currently reading the book for the second time and I just really enjoy it so I hope you do too. Also I really do love your bookshelves. I'm jealous!
I'm reading Love, Rosie and I am really enjoying it. I guess I watched the movie and now wanted to read the books and it being a ebook makes it seem shorter than it actually is.
I was wondering if you can do a updated room tour as I would love to see how your bookshelves fit into your room and not make it feel tight. And by the way I love your videos and never stop making videos unless you a TV show etc...
Totally going to read Wolf By Wolf now! If you're interested in WW2 alternative history then you should watch "The Man in the High Castle" on Amazon. I just binged it over the holidays and it is soo good!
There is this book that I think you are really going to enjoy because you liked Wolf by wolf, but I don't think it's translated into English yet. It is called 1957 by Jon Ewo and tells a story about what would happen if the Germans won WW2 . The main character is named Monika and she is the front figure for a Nazi girl's organisation. She is supposed to marry a soldier named Erik and is feeling proud about it. But then Hans is coming, and she starts doubting what she has been told. Jon Ewo has made (at least as I know) two other books about what could have happened if the history had went differently.
I'm so happy I finally read throne of glass in December! Definitely my favorite book! In January I'm going to attempt to read: Red queen, glass sword, Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone (illustrated), truthwitch, AND the siren by Kiera Cass. We shall see how much I actually finish...
I've been working on a book report since October (Falling into Place by Amy Zhang. It's sooo good!) so I've only been able to read half a book so far, but I'm almost done with it and I can't wait to start my regular reading schedule again. All these books sound amazing!
I've read three books in December - Pandemonium, The Outsiders, and just finished today Requiem. It seemed to go by so fast!! Am I the only one? For January planning on reading Defending Jacob, The Soul of an Octopus (probably the weirdest thing I'll ever read), and Illuminae. So excited to kick off this year made a pretty high book goal for myself on Goodreads. I'm feeling good. (I love you!!!)
I was in a really bad reading slump at the end of 2015 and only made it through The Maze Runner in December. However, I've already read Two for the Dough by Janet Evanvovich in January and am well into Allegiant by Veronica Roth. I hope to read Curio, Passengers, and Throne of Glass this month, but we'll see what I got to . . . . and what the library has available. I'm a pretty big library advocate and only buy books when the line is way too long or if my library does not stock that particular book.
I'll be reading the The Darkest Minds trilogy, the Throne of Glass series and hopefully also the Martian! Books always come out much later here in Germany, but I am so excited for Glass Sword which comes out in June here!
I was on the boat for the people who have not read harry potter then when you said that you were gonna read it so I decided I would too! During that time I got in a reading slump so I quickly put that book down so that I would not ruin it for myself. I am finally out of probably one of my longest reading slumps and I am now reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban THANK YOU SASHA!
LOVE ROSSIE IS AN AMAZING BOOK, one of my all time favourites, it may be a long book but thinking about it, thats why its so good, you can see their love life and everything , which for my opinion is so much better then falling in love in the start of the book.(people don't just make fun of twilight and compare it to harry potter for love reasons i can't write )
I'm currently re-reading Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, but seriously though it feels like it's the first time I'm reading it, it's such an amazing feeling! I really loved Love, Rosie the movie but now I'm completely put off by the book I don't want the movie to be ruined!
The martian is so good! I unexpectedly loved it! I normally don't like science fiction or astronaut-stuff at all - but this book is so amazing! I fell in love with the main character, he's really funny.
In January I've just finished The Martian (Which i loved) and 314 (which i didn't like). Now I'm Reading Baking Cakes in Kigali which is a very cute book. And on the 19th I'm flying to Uganda where I'm bringing The Lifeboat and Normal.
I started the Harry Potter series and got to the 4th book but stopped because I got alittle bored with it - grew up with the movies not the books- but I think I might finish it now! I read My Secret To Tell this break and it was amazing
I seriously thought you were going to say Passenger by Alexandra Bracken for the Perustopia book of the month, but I'm glad you're reading something else also!
The only book I read was the last book of the Everneath Trilogy for December. I almost dnf because it's been so long I read the second book but being home and locked inside by blizzards pushed me to read it. January is gonna be the month of finishing series like the Lunar Chronicles and the Iron Fey Call of the Forgotten series. Especially finally reading the next book of Arclight by Josin something.
I'm reading Love, Rosie at the moment and I definitely see what you mean, I'm about 230 pages in and it's beginning to feel very slow and lengthy. But despite that, I am still enjoying it, probably because I didn't have any expectations for this book so I'm not disappointed haha
I'm currently reading a Cathy glass video and nearly finished it I will be reviewing it on my channel once I'm done and also I'll be started a book called in a dark dark wood xx
I love contemporary novels so much and I did enjoy Love, Rosie but I completely agree that it didn't need to be so long. It kind of dragged and the movie was better because it was more condensed. Have you ever read Morgan Matson? I know you're not that into contemporary but you should definitely check out one of her books!
You can totally reread the Harry Potter series- I've read it every year since I was 6 (currently reading it now for the 9th time!!) & it definitely doesn't lose any of its magic!! Also rereading it you can see all of the little plot clues and hints Rowling littered throughout all the books!!
I'm stupidly excited to read Wolf by Wolf, it sounds super intriguing!! I've hear so many amazing things about it. I can't wait to hear what you think of The Martian, it's so brilliant (as is the movie) Happy New Year! :D
I found Half Blood Prince and then Deathly Hallows the best of the books. I felt the same with the films. I think it's where they're a lot older and it feels like the novels/films reflect that with the writing and the events taking place.
I was exactly the same with Love, Rosie -- I liked it at first until they got to about 40 years old and still weren't together.. but I LOVE the film, I've seen it five times since last summer
Trust me, reading Harry Potter for the second time is almost as good as reading it for the first so I definitely recommend rereading it, because there are so many details and foreshadowing things you missed on the first time that you'll continually be like OMG THIS MEANS THIS I GET IT NOW and that is so amazing. I'm not a very observant reader so this occassionally still happened to me while reading it for the fifth time.
Love Your video as always. And in December I have read Lola and the boy next door, the fifty shades novel grey, magisterium 1 the iron trial and re-read 2 of the black dagger brotherhood books.
i saw love, rosie before i read the book - i had wanted to read the book first so i kept putting off watching the movie but i eventually gave in, then once i saw it and loved the movie i finally bought the book and i was so excited to read it but it wasnt as amazing as i thought it would be which made me reallyyyy sad tbh - i didnt think there would ever be a time i'd say this but i enjoyed the movie so much more.
I agree totally with love Rosie. The movie is so sweet and amazingly acted by Lily Collins but the book was so slow I couldn't even get past page 100. And the messages really confused me and took away some of the closeness with the characters.
I definitely recommande "Reason to breathe" by Rebecca Donovan, I just loved it, it can get us through a lot of emotions ! The second book "Barely breathing" is really good too. Actually the third one was published ("Out of breathing") but I haven't read it yet, I have to wait because he will be published in France only in May. Sometimes I'm sad being French :(
Oh. Oh. Oh. I'm so excited for Curio!! Always down with a BlinkYA book. I should really go and buy it. I might just have to read it with you guys ;) Yay! *happy dance*
Whaaaaat?? I was OBSESSED with love rosie!! I read it years before the movie came out and yeah I agree that the middle is a bit slow and you're like come on just get together, but the end SO saved it for me !! The movie is alright but I feel like they left out a couple things that I would have liked to see, escpecially in regard to her daughter :)
I currently purchased Throne of Glass, Snow like Ashes, Red Queen, and The Kiss of Deception. I'm reading The Kiss of Deception at the moment. I'm also planning on purchasing The Wrath and the Dawn. I'm hoping to finish most of these this month.
i cant stop looking at your bookshelves *-*
they are my book shelf goals😃😃😃
they are my book shelf goals😃😃😃
they are my book shelf goals😃😃😃
+Jen Kaufmann ME TOO :)
Seeing how much you loved reading the Harry Potter books I went ahead and ordered all of them :D
Yay!!!
Im thinking of reading Harry Potter because of Sasha
I've read Harry Potter nine times I think now (I started them ten years ago when I was four so) but I totally recommend them because they go so much deeper than it seems (aka it's not a children's book as advertised). The books also get darker as they continue, so the last three have really deep parts and it's amazing. I hope you enjoy them!
+Grace Messimer I totally agree, I read them so many times I basically know the first one by heart :D love them !!

Same haha. People usually read a lot on christmas break and all this free time, but I usually read less than I would on normal months. Am I the only one?
Same, I read a very big book though xD 800 pages :p
carlos lara I read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! I really wanna start The Lunar Chronicles, but I'm not a big fan of Sci-fi, do you think I will like it anyways? :)
+Cornelia Sundberg hi I know your comment was aimed at a certain person but yes, you should read the series it's amazing
I read 10....
I didn't know Wolf by Wolf involved a shapeshifer. oooo now I'm more interested to read it!
You definitely can re read harry potter! I grew up with it, started the first book at age 8, ended it when I was 14 I think? and now I'm currently reading it again (fully!) for the second time haha. I read the first one about 4 times but this time I am going to fully re read the entire series :D
Yup I've read the series about 100000 times, you can't get bored of it!
+wallflowerstories Yeah every time I reread the series I always find something that I missed the previous time.
I've never read them.. shame on my I know. But I love Harry Potter and I have to do it this year!!
I read it first when I was 9, I've read it about 6 times now oopsie
You have a break of 4 weeks? Wow
+Sabine Kuijpers I know right- I got half of that!
+Sabine Kuijpers i know, I got ten days
+Sabine Kuijpers colleges usually always have a month break :)
College students usually get a longer break than those in grade school do (assuming you're in grade school)
I had three and a half weeks of school off.
I just started to read Mortal Instruments... Why haven't I picked it up before?!!!
You have to read the infernal devices to ! They are even better (in my opinion )
You need to
+Asma Ouafi or just sadder, depressing and the only series I'm not going to reread. It was the series I cried the most.
The rose society is sooo good , and it will make you cry also 😳
Wolf by Wolf keeps on whispering, "BUY ME!" in my ear, but I am trying to refrain from buying too many books this year!
I read 8 books during my 2 week break, which i am really proud of, considering i only had the time to read 20 pages tops each day in the 3 weeks leading up to break
ME TOO!
I really love Love Rosie/ Where Rainbows End.
I actually went out and bought more of her book when I finished it about a year and a half ago and I still love it.
I think it's a very marmitey book. You either like it or you don't.
I read red queen and it was 😱😱😱😱 The betrayal was just shocking and I read it in a day. It was amazing and the next book is coming out February 9th 😄😄
I know I can't wait ! :)
I read a lot of amazing books this December so I can't decide which one was the best one... I read The Whispers Of The Fallen, Let It Snow and My True Love Gave To Me: Twelve Holiday Stories. They were all amazing!! This month I would love to read Will Grayson, Will Grayson and The Rest Of Us Just Live Here😍😍 and also get to read Through The Dark, Passenger and Truthwitch or at least purchase them😍😍
***** i'm currently in page 60 and i'm enjoying it a lot!! It looks like it is going to be a really great book! Thank you!😍
Make sure you read The Rest Of Us Just Live Here, it's awesome....!
Hey Sasha! I've finally read The wrath and the dawn because of you and it was SPECTACULAR!Thanks for the recommendation ♡
I'm reading the martian right now and it's such a beautiful and easy read! I really love how it's written. Normaly I'm a really slow reader but with the martian it's so easy to understand and I just love it!

I was so sad about something that happened and then I watched this video and I just got so much happier and it meant the world to me because I was really on a bad time... thank you ❤️
Cecelia Ahern has a new book coming out in March called Flawed, it sounds really good.
I wanna read Curio so much now after that synopsis!!
I just got Wolf by Wolf today and I'm so excited to read it. The fact that you gave it a 5/5 just makes me anticipate the book more!
If you get the kindle version of Oblivion you get to read Daemon's pov in Obsidian, Onyx, and Opal!
I just finished reading white hot kiss and stone cold touch and I am loving Roth !!
Good job on your last months reads, most of them sounded great. Ooooh Sasha your gonna cry reading half blood prince
I'm still obsessing over your new bookshelf😍😍literal goals ❤️❤️
I'll be reading Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas, Wolf by Wolf and probably the fifth Harry Potter book as well. My favorite I've read thus far in December was Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas
the harry potter books never get old. I've reread them all a dozen times and STILL look forward to rereading them. I can't wait for you to read the martian! I was wondering if you can do a updated room tour as I would love to see how your bookshelves fit into your room and not make it feel tight. And by the way I love your videos and never stop making videos unless you a TV show etc...
Every time you talk about Soundless, I'm like "oh! I should read that!" Officially adding it to my TBR!
I am reading The Darkest Minds trilogy and novella in January. Also reading some of my ebooks from NetGalley.
Totally going to read Wolf By Wolf now! If you're interested in WW2 alternative history then you should watch "The Man in the High Castle" on Amazon. I just binged it over the holidays and it is soo good!

Love, Rosie just dragged on and it was so hard to continue reading, I just skimmed through the last half.
I'm so happy I finally read throne of glass in December! Definitely my favorite book!
In January I'm going to attempt to read:
Red queen, glass sword, Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone (illustrated), truthwitch, AND the siren by Kiera Cass. We shall see how much I actually finish...
Have fun reading the sixth hp book!! It is my favorite
I can't wait for the new bookshelf tour! 😂
I've been working on a book report since October (Falling into Place by Amy Zhang. It's sooo good!) so I've only been able to read half a book so far, but I'm almost done with it and I can't wait to start my regular reading schedule again. All these books sound amazing!

Ohmygawd I started screaming and saying "nonono" when u mentioned Oblivion!!!!! I.need.that.book.
I was in a really bad reading slump at the end of 2015 and only made it through The Maze Runner in December. However, I've already read Two for the Dough by Janet Evanvovich in January and am well into Allegiant by Veronica Roth. Those Harry Potter covers are dope :) I need to start reading the series asap, I'm a huge fan of the movies.
The Martian is an amazing book. Fun, suspenseful and just honestly one of the bests that came out in 2014. the movie is good too.
I kinda agree with you on your thoughts on Love Rosie. There's a lot of drama (which I like in books), but it was too much drama in that book.
YES! Please a video with your dad, that would be soo cute!
I still need to read Soundless! I hope you enjoy The Martian! I plan on rereading Fangirl this month! :)

I'm currently re-reading Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone, but seriously though it feels like it's the first time I'm reading it, it's such an amazing feeling!
I really loved Love, Rosie the movie but now I'm completely put off by the book I don't want the movie to be ruined!
PLUS YOUR BOOKSHELVES ARE LOOKING GREAT
I'm reading outlander at the moment and I'm really enjoying it!
The martian is so good! I unexpectedly loved it! I normally don't like science fiction or astronaut-stuff at all - but this book is so amazing! I fell in love with the main character, he's really funny.
Half-Blood Prince is my favorite Harry Potter book! I hope you enjoy it!!
I need to read soundless immediately!
could you do a christmas book haul? x
I'm late to the Harry Potter train too (hogwarts express haha) and I'm currently on the prisoner of azkaban!! loving them!
In January I've just finished The Martian (Which i loved) and 314 (which i didn't like). Now I'm Reading Baking Cakes in Kigali which is a very cute book. And on the 19th I'm flying to Uganda where I'm bringing The Lifeboat and Normal.
OMG OBLIVION!
The Lux Series got me into starting a youtube channel too so I can't wait to get my hands on Oblivion!

I'm currently reading Heir of Fire (finally) and I looooove it! Can't wait to get to QOS :)
Amazing video Sasha! I look forward to these all day long!
I ordered Wolf by Wolf after seeing it on yours and Reagan's channel and I'm excited to get it!!
I read Made You Up (by Francesca Zappia) just yesterday and wowowowow
You look so beautiful in this video. And I'm jealous that you got an arc of Passenger by Alexandra Bracken
I'm reading Love, Rosie at the moment and I definitely see what you mean, I'm about 230 pages in and it's beginning to feel very slow and lengthy. But despite that, I am still enjoying it, probably because I didn't have any expectations for this book so I'm not disappointed haha
Wolf by Wolf was amazing! Also The Martian movie is spectacular, I loved it :)
I'm also starting with the Harry Potter series and I'm loving it! I'm so exited for 2016 and all the books coming out!
In the month of December, I read City of Bones, City of Ashes, and The 5th wave. I also started The Infinite Sea
My favorite from the 3/4 was City of Ashes and I'm still waiting on City of Glass to come in the mail and I'm slowly dying
harry potter and the goblet of fire is my favorite of the harry potter series too!!
You can totally reread the Harry Potter series- I've read it every year since I was 6 (currently reading it now for the 9th time!!) & it definitely doesn't lose any of its magic!! Also rereading it you can see all of the little plot clues and hints Rowling littered throughout all the books!!
The Martian was excellent and so was the movie. i would re read it again!
I'm reading Harry Potter for the first time too! I'm on the fourth book and am audiobooking it which I am enjoying. I think it's my favourite so far!
Please upload a new bookshelf tour!!! :)
i saw love, rosie before i read the book - i had wanted to read the book first so i kept putting off watching the movie but i eventually gave in, then once i saw it and loved the movie i finally bought the book and i was so excited to read it but it wasnt as amazing as i thought it would be which made me reallyyyy sad tbh - i didnt think there would ever be a time i'd say this but i enjoyed the movie so much more.
Yes! I also didn't enjoy the format and character of Love, Rosie, though it's one of my friend's favorite novel, so yeah, totally agree with you
I love your videos sooooo much! I always know where to go to find amazing books
The Wrath and the Dawn is so good 😍
