I really want to read The Shadow Queen, I love retellings!
+Cherrie Walker Me too!
Me too! retelling are one of my favorite things to read.
I think I'll be adding The Shadow Queen to my book bucket list! I love fairytale retellings!
February TBR
- CoLS
- CoHF
- The Infernal Devices
- Glass Sword
Make sure to finish Clockwork Princess before you read City of Heavenly Fire. CoHF will spoil the ending for Clockwork Princess.
+ObscureInvisionary sorry to bother you but it spoils in the story or is it just in the dust jacket? please i really need to know
madalena r What exactly do you mean?
+ObscureInvisionary does city of Heavenly Fire has spoilers for Clockword Princess in the actual story or not? I'm portuguese and here all the books are paperback, and I heard that there are spoilers in the dust jacket(?) idk but if city of heavenly fire has spoilerd in the story then I don't want to be spoiled for clockword princess 😩
madalena r The story of City of Heavenly Fire does spoil the ending of Clockwork Princess. So I would try to finish Clockwork Princess before reading City of Heavenly Fire. As for the dust jacket, the City of Heavenly Fire dust jacket has no spoilers. But, the inside of the dust jacket of Clockwork Princess has spoilers for Clockwork Princess. (The American version does I don't know about the others.) On the inside cover of Clockwork Princess is a family tree. It spoils who ends up with who, who lives, and stuff like that.

The Shannara Chronicles is just perfection
I really want to read The Shadow Queen! I LOVE a good retelling.
I finished Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell this month and was in awe of its whimsey and charm, but it was still soo relatable! One of my favorite contemporaries ever, I think.
My favourite books in January were Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard and These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner! Oh my God! Such amazing books!
Falling kingdoms is soooo good... Can't wait to get my hands on gathering darkness 😭😍
I LOVE THE SHANNARA CHRONICLES!! THE SHOW IS SOOO GOOD!

ugly love is such an amazing story and the plot twist was amazing and unexpected you will love that story trust me
Hearing you talk about Oblivion makes me really want to pick it up! I really love the Lux series but I usually don't enjoy companion books told in a different POV so I'm kinda hesitant. I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed Falling Kingdoms! The books get better and better! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on them!
My favorite book I read in January is The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender by Leslye Walton - this book is just absolutely beautifully written, the story is beautiful. January was a great reading month for me too! I read 6 books, which is great since my goodreads reading goal is a 100 books aswell. My favorite book in January was defintely the 5th wave by Rick Yancey! I think it was one of the best books I've ever read and now I'm extremly excited to read the other 2 books in the series. I also plan to read book 2+3 of TMI and still point by Katie Kacvinsky!
So happy to see someone finally mention the Shannara chronicles!!!. I never read the books and I almost never watch tv, but I am OBSESSED with the show. I'm so picky when it comes to tv and it's so hard for something to grab my attention, I watched it one day and fell in love. Told my mom about it and now we're both in love. Definitely want to read them now :)
I only read 1 book in January because of this reading slump I've been in for like 2 years and can't seem to get out of lol. It was 'It's kind of a funny story'. February I want to read 'Me before You' and the rest of shadowhunter academy books.
I adore Uprooted. It was such a fascinating read. But when it came to hardcore feels, Frozen Tides is my most favorite read in January.
Feburary TBR (so far):
-Starflight
-Salt to the Sea
-Unhooked
I will read more (I already read one and finished off another one from last month), these are just the books I bought and will read without a doubt :)
Awesome TBR!
My favorite book I read this month was Outlander. Of course. What an awesome book to start the year with. I'm in the middle of Dragonfly in Amber right now, so maybe that's the book I'm most excited to read this month. I don't know.
Goodreads is always suggesting The Orphan Queen, maybe they're onto something. I also pre-ordered The Shadow Queen and I am so glad I did! This is the year of retellings for me. Have you read Princess of Thorns? So good!
It sounds like you're reading some awesome books this month, Sasha. I hope you're enjoying the books.
Could you please please please do a video on your favorite retellings? You have read so many and i really want to start some!
I read 7 books this month! I'm really proud of that since it was a school month. My favorite book I read was probably either How to Say Goodbye In Robot or Frozen Tides!
I can't wait to hear your opinion on the Shannara Chronicles, I love the series but I've never read the books even though I've heard they're very different.
I generally read completely different books than you do. But your energy is so addictive I'm still watching your videos just to listen to you :D Also, amazing hair.

my fav book was clockwork angel. and it was also the first book i have read in english ever
Starting to read in english just opens up a whole new book world!!
i just read harry potter in english and WOW I loved it
Welcome to the world of English books! I started reading in English a little more than four years ago (when I was twelve) and now I almost only read in English ha ha. Suddenly there's millions of books to read and it's a bit (okay very) overwhelming but omg I'm so happy I started reading in English. The first English book I ever read was Knife by R J Anderson and I still absolutely love that series!
+Netta Kråknäs +Lea mariaxx I'm planning on reading in english too, but I'm not sure were to start! Clockwork Angel and Harry Potter were "easy" to read for you?
Well Harry Potter is kind of for younger children (I mean there are like nine year olds reading it so) so the language is pretty easy, and as for Clockwork Angel, I haven't read it but I have read the mortal instruments, and it's a bit more difficult language obviously since it's for teenagers, but I still think it was pretty easy. Not that my opinion can really count since I'm so used to reading in English that I read it as easily as Swedish (my first language), but I don't think you would have too much trouble with them.
And yeah it's a great idea to start reading in English, you won't regret it! Just try not to get stuck when you don't know what a word means, just skip it, you'll still understand what's happening. I had big troubles reading in English first because I would literally ask my mum about every single word that I didn't understand, I didn't get any flow, and I hated reading in English. Then when I started reading that book all by myself and just focused on the big picture and not every single word it was suddenly so easy. But yeah, good luck! :)
Omg the shadow queen sounds sooo cool!! I want it!
In January, I read 9 books. I have got to say that Cinder is my favorite book that I have read this year.
The books that am going to read February are.
Allegiant, The matched trilogy, the falling kingdoms series and The Rook by Daniel o'malley.
I read only two books because I was studying abroad in Australia. Scarlet and Cress by Marissa Meyer but Cress is a pretty big book. I also finished Fairest on Feb 1 and currently reading Winter :)

Did you conclude the Harry Potter series??
I think she said previously in a video that she wants to space them out over time..? :) I could be wrong though..
+Vilde Furn she did say that. I don't know which video though
My favorite book of January was definitely The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J Mass.... haven't gotten that emotionally attatched to a book in a WHILE

I'm so excited that you guys are doing an Indie author for the Perusutopia book of the month! As an Indie author I know how difficult it can be to get people reading and reviewing so...Thanks! lol That book looks great too!
Walk On Earth A Stranger by Rae Carson was by far my favorite January read. :)

I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Lady Midnight, AHH! I'm so so so excited :')
I think The Shannara Chronicles starts with The Elfstones of Shannara and then The Wishsong....but I'm not certain. There are a TON of books in that series! I read the prequel to it (First King of Shannara) although it was written after the original series and it was just okay. I'm not sure if I'll continue on with reading the rest of the series.
I'm reading the covenant series now! I love it... and seth is swoon worthy! :)
This video was great! I love watching your videos!! I hope you enjoy all of those books and I can't wait to hear your thoughts on them.
I saw Falling Kingdoms in the description before I watched this and I got so excited because I'm planning on reading it this month and I was hoping we could do a read along but then I watched the video and got let down.
I started the Throne of glass series and it's sooooooo good.
Goals to read all the time and hardly study for class! Can't wait till the vacations where I won't feel guilty about reading rather than study.
Haha the ending of this video 😂😂 I love you so much Sasha! My favorite read in January was The Secret Diamond Sisters 😍💎 I have already read two books in February (The Siren and Awake) but I want to read Uglies by Scott Westerfeld, The Longest Ride, and The Last Song (the last two are romances because Valentines is this month 💕) I hope your February reading month is great! 😀

Nice list. I finished 4 books last month which made me pretty excited. I'm hopeful to finish 50 books{Goodreads challenge}, so looks like I'm on a great start. Right now I'm, reading Confess by Casandra Clare. i didn't realize you had a book club on Goodreads. I'll definitely join!

I could never make videos like this, I've been reading the same book for months! It's such a shame that I'm a slow reader. But your reading list seems interesting enough! Maybe one day I'll get to reading them as well :)
I am currently reading Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma and aim to read 5 other books this month.
You should read Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys, too! I read it last summer and it was ah-may-zing!!!
How do you choose which books you read? I either can't find anything at all, or get overwhelmed by choices!
My best book for january was certainly The Martian by Andy Wear. What a great book!
