This is a fantastic guide. My teams and I have been getting pretty good times (we average 15 minutes, a lot of times even around the 13 minute mark), but we REALLY can’t get past a sub 13 mark without glitches. I’m gonna try and study this guide and show this to my team and see what they think. I already sent the link to the group chat. Thank you, Dod
Nice to have a solid guide thats not just the day/week 1 strats like the vast majority of rushed guides out there made by people with a single completion, but actually developed strats that come from experience. Also your first high end piece on a crit strikers build should almost always be ceska, not contractors or grupo. Even with ouroboros and especially with elmos and other high end guns.
Could you explain why pls? Oreo (31) + watch(10) + cheska(10) is already 51 And that's without minor attribute on cheska or anything else.We don't count coyote here or why is that the case?
@@M4RK_0 So to be clear, we are talking about splitting hairs in differences between ceska, grupo, soklov, foxes, and contractors on a strikers + coyotes build. It essentially comes down to assumptions. If you assume headshots and dta always being active then contractors does come out ahead. But even if you assume bodyshots and even 100% shots on armor then ceska is marginally ahead. Ceska, grupo, contractors, foxes, and soklov are all ultimately with about 1% of each other with ouroboros, so imo the deciding factor in your choice is what helps the secondary weapon the most. And by far the best option for your secondary, unless it's another SMG, will be ceska. What I've been running with ouroboros is ceska + coyotes, which gives the ouroboros 60 (63)/163, and then I use an M4 for long range with +30% in optimal range mods and ranger, but only 37 chc. The ouroboros will out damage the M4 even into the high 20ms, so I only use the M4 at long range. With those mods it has 46m optimal range, max chc from coyotes (main reason I always run my own on this build) and a base of 153 chd.
I appreciate this video. I have been a bit prickly in previous comments but I have to say this is a good video. Simple, easy to follow, no BS from other creator's runs or builds
Prickly is fine. Surprissingly absolutely no one, I get a wide range of comments from praise, to people just insulting my appearance or the way I talk to actual death threats. Kind of funny. Thank you for the feed back!
Ty for the guide. Right when I fought everything settled. Good ideas with double spec, booster hive, 3/1 split on lovebirds etc. So much stuff to pick up thank you
Hey Dod, another great video, thanks and keep them coming. One shit question, but you’re the only guy I know of that can give the answer; what’s the DPS difference with an Ouroboros with 5% RoF, compared to 10% DTOC?
Got coached through a match made clear on my first attempt last night, I was the healer (never played healer before), I’ll adjust my build to what you have here but I also need to do better with kiting Wright and rolling at the right time. I went down a couple of times there and thankfully got picked up again by the crew.
The Oreo is just nuts. Idk if its ripping players apart in DZ...if not maybe it can survive a nerf hammer. One thing I have learned in video games is...OP toy for new content until the devs need to push a new OP toy. I hope this is not the case. Great guide btw. I hope people see this just for placement purposes at least.
I plan on tackling the Incursion sometime this Week, so this Guide will definitely help. Quick Question, is the St. Elmo's/Scorpio still Bugged on the Wright Fight? Cause if so, i might run a Fast Hands Famas.
Hey, this great so far...How do I get this type of team with roles and all if I'm only a solo player who only has match-maker to use to get a group together...Tried and folks quit before even trying...Thanks
You obviously need friends or at least willing associates who play roughly when you do if you're going to coordinate end game content on this level. That's just the way it is.
Listen, your video guide is excellent, but you mentioned a word several times: “competent.” From the raid to the current incursion, most players are not competent. In the first section, I've seen players refusing to shoot turrets and wiping several times. It's similar to Falcon Lost; players refuse to speak. It's cool with your friends to do a livestream with three randoms so you can see the difficulty. Once again thanks for the vid guide.
1) I do not reccomend using Match Making, there are plenty of discords and groups than run regularly where you can gain experience. 2) Idealy, this guide should help get people competant. 3) Try as I might, I cannot change the player perspective. The only thing we can hope for is your other 3 team mates have seen this video or others like it.
@@DodRegnbue i've done dozens of runs so far, the vast majority of them with matchmaking. at this stage it's really not bad provided you yourself know what has to be done and know what the group needs to provide in order to be able to complete the incursion, so you can request a change or bail if they stick with some bs. obviously you can't go in expecting runs as smooth as your team's is and you will occasionally find people/builds you'd rather avoid, but around 20 minutes per run, or even below that, is not too uncommon in my personal experience and i'd say that's perfectly acceptable for a random group with next to no, or even literally no comms at all. for some reason match making for the incursion works a lot better than for legendaries which i haven't done in a while, because it was a lot more hit and miss.
Why Tech over Survivalist for the healer (I'm biased as I like the larger radius fire grenades for Sledgehammer)? I mean, if you're going to drop the 15% heals to 10% then why not just have them go Demo instead since they don't really need the Dttooc and save having to use it on two DPS at all. Let those two go Gunner for 10% AoK all the way through and one Firewall. Losing the 10% skill healing is minor. For PUG healers it'd be easier too since the DPS often stick with whichever spec they have saved on their loadout (Gunner mostly). Cheers.
@GavinM19 it is cause you do not need more heals, and the setup with blue core is much easier to farm, as you get 1 skill tier from technician, plus the blue core helps the healer to survive. and in the incursion the EMP nade is more useful to proc sledge cause the big radius and the bosses are all immune to the burn of the survivalist nade. that is why the buff to status affected enemies of survivalist is also not helpful here. maybe there is more, but that is what I learned from the discussions I heard with the guys in this video...
I used it a couple times (not due to me, it was the leader’s idea) and it was EXCRUCIATINGLY boring. It physically hurt due to how boring it was. It takes the entire fun out of the boss fight.
@@sinner2133 it really does I had one recently where one random kept saying in the mic to stay at the gate, thankfully the rest of the group just wanted to damage Johnson in middle 😂

Yep. The overcharged booster hive is amazing as well. Makes all the difference in being able to take out Johnson and Martinez in the same phase IMO
