So, yeah, this week they dropped a new track featuring Babymetal, it's called Bekhauf, and it's amazing...
Got it on my record list for this week 😄
@@SoulSingerDiscovers Great! You will love the video for Bekhauf (means Fearless) ;-) Greetinz from Poland!
That's dope af. Thanks for turning me on to this band.
Any time! 😄
jupp, I forced U to enjoy them on a monday stream a while back.
ps. most people miss that the dancing woman is the goddess Kali, she is among other things the protector of innocence and wears the heads of the perpetrators as a necklace.... think she fits in nicely ;-)
That’s brilliant! I love that imagery. I remembered after the fact and I think they are pretty awesome. Full credit to you Subway 😄❤️
Yes!!! So 23rd of March 🎉😂
‘Nu Dehli’ is a new song from their upcoming album and I think it’s probably the best one I’ve heard from them. The title is an obvious nod to NU Metal and I believe the folk in their titles just refers to the locally traditional instruments they use in the music they make.
Get yourself a ticket
🎉the liveshows seem like a great time for all.
I’ve got it on my list of things to do 😄
Sexual assault in India is fairly common (at least from a Western media perspective - I do not know how it actually is in India, but bands like Bloodywood shine a huge spotlight on it). The political climate is fairly adverse, as well (again, from a Western media POV), and a lot of Bloodywood's songs are politically charged with songs such as Machi Basad (Expect a Riot) and Gadaar (Traitor), as well as very positive with songs like Jee Veeray (Brave? Be Brave? unsure, but it's about fighting depression) and Aaj (Today, which is about just being a better version of yourself). They are an excellent band with an excellent message
Yeah I’m finding that. I’m doing a new one of their songs for next week and I’m really looking forward to it. Thanks for watching my dude 😄
Bloodywood's messages are universal except for Gaddar. SA is a problem across the world.
Good intense song! Cool band! Great rhythm section! You may also enjoy the song Tribe by the band Soulfly! Keep up the great work My Fine Scottish Lady! ❤❤❤
Thanks Scott! Will do! 😄❤️
Loved the reaction. Fantastic band and great live. You should definitely go to see them in Glasgow. If I don't have tickets yet I'm not sure why. I'll be practicing my dancing though, for sure.
Same here! Doing my stretches in anticipation :P
The problem with recommending bloodywood songs is that i dont think there is a bad song so far. The last 2 songs Nu Delhi and the collab with babymetal called Bekhauf is pretty epic stuff though. But then again so is the songs from the 1st album...
I think you might be right there. Got another one this week 😄
They are from North India, Delhi, you better check their live version its sick
Will do! Thanks for this my dude 😄
oh, you should have the captions on the lyrics. that makes this even better!!!
I goofed, didn't realize you had them on for you.
@@metalpianomanmusic 😄 not to worry! You’re right however. Once I find a good way to have the lyrics pop up I definitely will 💪
Not really knowledgeable about this band but I'm here showing support my dude🤘🤘🤘cheers from Southern California
@@OGxCSH thanks for watching my dude 😄
@@SoulSingerDiscovers All day Mel
BLOODYWOOD are brilliant. Hopefully you will check out moof their music 🤘🏻🇬🇧🖤
Definitely 😄
@@SoulSingerDiscovers my spelling in atrocious 🤣 honestly I haven't drinking 🤣🤣
Random one, Being Scottish, have you ever heard Bleed From Within, very good Scottish metal band. Well worth checking out on your channel. "The End of All We Know" is the big one, but anything or anything new is good
I feel like I have but I'll go double check. Thanks for the suggestion :)
You really should check out the collaboration they did with Babymetal that was just released a few days ago. It is without a doubt one of the most entertaining things that I have ever seen. It's called Bekhauf.
Got it on the record list for this week 😄
Please, pull up the subtitles next time ! That really helps understanding the song even more, thanks 🙏
I’ll figure out a way to do that soon as 😄
Do you know anything about Ado? Many people think that she #1 vocalist in Japan, but I think she id #1 in the entire world. Can you check her "Show" for the start? I asked it because it is very deep rabbit hole. She only 22, but already has ~150 songs)
I’ll check her out. Thanks my dude 😄
I've talked to a few women from India and from what I understand the more traditional cultural aspects regarding the treatment of women is appalling, especially with how sexual assault, rape, and domestic violence.
So yeah, I think this is probably quite a bit of a statement within that context.
Musically, for me, it was a bit too much 2000s nu metal and not enough traditional/contemporary Indian fusion 😅
That’s fair. It’s not exactly cutting edge harmony ideas but for the message I’ll give them the pass (not that my pass means anything 😂) that’s pretty scary though for Indian women. I think the band did good 💪
Bekhauf pls
Please don't be a talented musician, I can't stand the thought of falling in love with you. Stuff to do and whatnot.
@@bryanbrady877 I can’t promise I’m talented, but I can promise I am a musician that makes music she cares about…so insufferable basically 😄
@SoulSingerDiscovers Fuck it, I love my people and now you are one of us. This is out of my hands. You join us, you are us. Get ready to love the next to see.
@SoulSingerDiscovers I like you. No more shall be said. You are kinda cool. Well heck, just broke my own rule. Downvote me!
