Yes, I learned that when my hair hit a plateau. I started drinking more water, fruits and veggies, took a multivitamin, and started exercising ... Growth returned my hair was stronger and I felt better.

Oh, you like my locs! I maintain them myself because I live in a town in the south of England and we have never heard the word loctitian let alone have any. I had them started in London 7 years ago and I am still learning but through some of Damian's advice lately they are squeaky clean, shiny, healthy, soft ( I have only had one that I had to break off right at the back month's ago) They are halfway down my back now and beautiful. Advice for newbies - you got to look after, it's not free!

I personally started my locs with Murrays Loc-Lock gel and so far, it's worked for me and I use beeswax to maintain them. Less is More when it comes down to Beeswax

Might I recommend Neweer brand Clip Microphones? You can clip them yo your shirt, plug into your phone and record for good quality sound on the go. I got a 12 bag of them for 10$ they last long and get the job done.

The best thing to do is to see a licensed beautician/a REAL loctician (not saying Damien is not because he is) and have your hair and scalp analyzed. You're not be negative at all; a lot of products sold in the beauty stores are heavily laden with petrolatum, alcohol and other ingredients that either cause drying effect or products sit on the hair. I use ABS and other natural essential & plant oils that haven't been extract with harmful chemicals.

Organic Root Stimulator Fertilizer grew my bald edges back. My hair came out from box braids and from quick weaves. That glue is not good for black hair. It thinned out my hair. I cut off 4 inches. I am a natural girl. My hair is growing back good. It eats up my Jamaican Black Castor oil as well as organic peppermint oil. Damian, have you ever used Giovanni Conditioner. It is really good. It has avocado & olive oil. Made for dry damaged hair.
Hello, I was wondering what do you think about Rasta loc products. I been growing my locs for 20years and they are down to my calf but have lost about 2ft over the years.
