I'm a rasta, and I wash my hair every couple of weeks, but I retwist when the seasons changed and the less people in your hair the better. Great video though
Omg girl I needed this video…. I’m about a month into my journey and my locs are so dry (I struggle being dry as a loose natural) but I realize I’m doing good I moisturize and seal it often my problem is I don’t drink enough water 😏 I will try more now 😒
You jst changed my whole life 🙌🏾 I used beeswax all my last retwist! I was wondering why my locks felt so dry they are drier than they’ve ever been! Thank you so much!
Thankhs queen, lately I been more focused on the money I been making instead of taking care of my locs and every time my loctician sees me she tells me everything you're saying!
OMG!!!! I'm so glad I found this channel, Im 7yrs into my locc journey and I have been struggling with products, bc the ones that have worked for me were too expensive for my pockets. Love the product tips and product prices, so affordable. I think I finally found the right products, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. It was needed. You video was very beneificial to me. I will be incorparating a lot of your advise in my routian loc care. YOU'RE LOCS ARE ABSOLUTLY GORGEOUS❤❤❤AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL. I started my locs 2 years ago. I also loc'd my 11 yr old daughter's hair. I do the inter-locking method. We have microlocs. We are so very proud of our locs!!! We are in love with them❤❤❤
I dont have locs, but i love watching videos about locs. the basis are so true- your hair knows your routine- i really tried to wash mines every 2-3 weeks and push my 7-10 day limits, but by day 6 or 7 my hair and scalp telling me we ready lol. its so true.
Lo I see your loc flow girl! Good points. My locs are longer than I think and some styles, like the bun on top, get tiresome on my neck. Do your locs ever feel heavy to you?
Yes i can definitely understand, may just be because your not use to wearing it up so may feel more of a strain but if you do it more frequently your neck will adjust and get used to it eventually! My hair typically onl feels to heavy when it’s wet or if it’s all up and the hun is too tight 😅
Great video. New to your channel. Loc for 7 years. Never told about moisturizing my locs. Just began doing it. Don't use product unless getting retwist. My question is grey hair. I notice recently the dryness. Also what type of shampoo? Thank you too
I love this video as this is my first time on your channel. However, I will like to ask how to detox the locs am 3years into my locs and although I keep it hydrated and moisturised I feel I can detox as well. Pls share how one can detox their locs
Naturally thicker Locs are not really possible that I’m aware of if your hair type is finer, but if you don’t maintain /style them to often and just let them be free for the most part then that’ll help them to not thin out or look to sparse
thinking. just subscribed to your site and looking forward to placing an order for yhe rose water and etc. I've been locked for 19 years and I'm seweing a lot of thinning. I don't retwist after every shampoo anymore but I'm still concerned. How can I prevent losing locs?
Awesome, I’m excited for you to try them as well! Hey hun moving forward you may need to look into getting repairs for any thinning Locs to help them not break off and then definitely be sure to moisture your locs top to bottom atleast 3x/ week so they are not dry and weak ☺️hope that helps, best wishes to you and thanks for watching!
Hey hun you can but I know the hold won’t be enough for your Retwist to last unfortunately, simply because the hair isn’t trained it so it may need the assistance of a Retwist gel to hold the Retwist longer, I recommend My Gel by Joie Naturals it doesn’t produce build up ♥️
Can you recommend a mild shampoo? I feel like every shampoo for locs Always smells like tea tree oil, eucalyptus, patchouly and peppermint and I get it I don’t mind a deep cleansing like once a month but I feel as if I don’t wanna smell like TG oil all the time lol

It’s tough finding products to soften and moisturize.
I spray mineral water and peppermint oil on my locs. I only have 39 Locs.
Your locs are beautiful 😍
Thank you!!
I love your locks
What kind of hair rollers can you use on Locs to make your Locs curly
Hey love you can flexi rods, perm rods or pipe cleaners. Here I used large flexi rods
OMGEEEEEEEEE YOU ARE SOOOO PRETTY 😍❤❤❤
Thanks love 💗 💗
Thanks for the tips.
You’re welcome thank you for watching!!
Rose water makes my locs frizzy. Aloe vera juice+ vegetable glycerin+msm powder+a few drops of jbco as a spritz👍🏽

Yes you’ll definitely want to moisturize 3x/week atleast and a clarifying shampoo and moisturizer shampoo are best I use design essentials
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ your Loc’s
Thank you so much!! I’m right behind you I’m 5 years ☺️
I love this video as this is my first time on your channel. However, I will like to ask how to detox the locs am 3years into my locs and although I keep it hydrated and moisturised I feel I can detox as well. Pls share how one can detox their locs
That’s a great idea, I’d love to do a video for that next thanks for the request and for watching 💚
Have you ever dyed your hair before ? I bleached my locs in November on 2k21 and I’m Now suffering with dryness
Yes bleaching can lead to dryness make sure to keep them hydrated with aloe and rose water and coconut oil helps a lot as well
Thanks for sharing
Absolutely glad you enjoyed! ❤️
Thanks for tips beautiful
You’re welcome and thanks for watching!
I Am 6 years Loc’d
do you have info on how to thicken locs ? my hair is on the finer side. I would love to know any tips on how to get them thick.
Naturally thicker Locs are not really possible that I’m aware of if your hair type is finer, but if you don’t maintain /style them to often and just let them be free for the most part then that’ll help them to not thin out or look to sparse
is it your real hair or u have extensions.its nice.
It’s real! Thank you 🙏🏾

Yes it does. Thank you!
Do you suggest Humectants on high porosity locs the question for Jamaica black castor oil?
Yes definitely, you’ll need all the moisture you can get! I’d encourage using JBC
Can you retwist starter locs with just oil and water ?
Hey hun you can but I know the hold won’t be enough for your Retwist to last unfortunately, simply because the hair isn’t trained it so it may need the assistance of a Retwist gel to hold the Retwist longer, I recommend My Gel by Joie Naturals it doesn’t produce build up ♥️
Balding/Thinning at the crown ??? Need answers
Your so beautiful!
Oh thank you!!
Hello,, can u buy oil on your locs?
You're stunning
Thank you so much love 💗
Can you recommend a mild shampoo? I feel like every shampoo for locs Always smells like tea tree oil, eucalyptus, patchouly and peppermint and I get it I don’t mind a deep cleansing like once a month but I feel as if I don’t wanna smell like TG oil all the time lol
Dr Locs cleansing peppermint shampoo
Castile soap is very good as well. It doesn’t strip the moisture from your hair.
Also design essentials have a good line of shampoo
I just use castrol oil not black Jamaican is that okay?
Yes that’s okay as well!
How do you get your hair curly like that
I use flexi rods, I have another video for how to achieve the look I’ll tAg it below

Married?
Y'all go look at "yannie the locologist" she's a Trinidadian and more suited to give advice on locs.
This was so rude .
