- Today's video is a follow up on the previous video where I looked at three common landing mistakes in MSFS. I'm covering three more mistakes in this video that I commonly find myself making in the sim.

A useful rule of thumb for the 3° slope is "vertical speed (ft/min) = 6 * GS (knots)". More important for descent planning than for the final, but still useful as reference
Very helpful. I can relate to the flare part where I have had landings with 2 (or even 3) flares
Thanks for this - all very useful especially the flare
Great info Thanks
Thank you so much!
Is there any indicator from the display panel that you are now approaching 3 miles away from the airport so that I can make my self ready to get to the thousand feet mark altitude.
If you’re flying without instruments, you have to learn to eye ball it. On an instrument flight you’ll be able to see the distance in a glass cockpit at the top of the PFD
I normally just bounce around till I crash…..
Which airport is it in the intro? Thank You!
It's Genoa Airport, identifier LIMJ.
@@FlightSimSchool thank you so much!
Where is the link to that video on practice landings?
Here it is : ua-cam.com/video/7yL30TzP6fM/v-deo.html
@@FlightSimSchoolthanks for that.
What button to focus?
By default on a stick it’s going to be the trigger button
On an Xbox controller, my apologies
@@KCS4LifeOFFICIAL I did a bit of digging and it seems there is no easy way to do this on Xbox :(
@@FlightSimSchool i actually figured it out man, LB and A 🔥🔥
If anybody is on Xbox with questions about the controls, go to the flight training page inside of Activities 🔥🔥 it will save your virtual lives!
