- We discovered that there are off-road trails inside of Arches National Park, just north of Moab Utah, and they are pretty fun. They aren't difficult, but more on the moderate side, and you can't beat the views!

This is the best video of Tower Arch Trail etc. I really appreciate your words of offroad wisdom and when you're in 4L and M1. Planning to run this route Oct 2022. Looks like my 2020 JL with 3.5" lift and 33" and no lockers should do okay. Thanks for the great work!
I am heading to Moab in a couple of months. These are now on my bucket list of places to go. Thanks for the video.
Just an FYI to driving or hiking in those washes. Quick sand does exist. Years ago I was hiking in the canyon lands area and stepped in quick sand.
One leg sunk clear to my hip.
Awesome trail with some tough spots. Best thing was the lack of crowds at the huge Tower Arch. We did this one at Thanksgiving in our XJ. We enjoy your videos! Keep up the good work making them!
Great video!!! I did this in my 2019 Cherokee Trailhawk 2yr ago. It was fun seeing the trail again!
Great video, one of the trails I’m really looking forward to running this spring. Thank you for sharing your adventures!
I did that trail in my Bronco Sport (big bend, lifted with 29” tires) had no issues. Traded it in for a Bronco Badlands Sas. This trail is awesome!
Headed there tomorrow, thanks for sharing some ideas!
Ran this a few weeks ago and it was cake. They have fixed most of the trail. Washboard road was really smooth. I have ran it each of the last 4 years. It’s my sons favorite trail.
Good video. We ran Tower Arch and West Valley Road, you called it Eye of the Whale, a couple of years ago in our stock Xterra. Picking lines and spotting were all that were needed to get us through a couple of sketchy spots that the other vehicle had no problem with. It was a bit of fun with the 23 degree hill as well as Blind Turn. There is a road at the Delicate Arch view point that you can explore too. You may get some weird looks as you jump the curb to get on the road, but it is there for the exploring.
To get to Tower Arch, we came in from the north on Salt Valley road instead of starting in the park.
Thanks for sharing, was thinking of doing this one in May when I go out. Looks fun!
Nice? Smooth? Graded? WHAT!!??? Man, last year when I was on there it was so absolutely horrible with the corrugations! Probably the worst road I have ever been on. I wasn't on some rental sedan either. I have a 1997 Land Cruiser and yeah, that's what I remember about that road...absolutely horrible. I think I even did a review for TrailsOffroad. But if they have made it better I am happy for you. I came from the north side of the park and did the hike to Tower Arch and it was pretty cool. I was at the main parking lot instead of the other one up on the 4x4 trail (my mistake) and it'a a lot longer of a hike by far. I was solo but I think the 4x4 trail was harder than what TrailsOffroad rated it at.
We were there Labor Day weekend and that road was super smooth, once we turned towards tower arch, it certainly got worse.
Unfortunately the park recently grated this entire trail so smooth you can literally do it in a Prius now. They flattened the fun right out of it. I was just there on 2/17/24. After doin this trail in the past I was very disappointed.
Thank you for sharing that. I was not aware that they have done that. It was a pretty fun trail.
Hey Kerry, is camera on the windshield have a gimble attached to it ?
How do you like those Patagonia tires both off and on road? Are they the M/T 02’s?
They have been great but they don’t last long enough
new to 4X4 will a Tacoma make it through ok?
Yes, shouldn't have any issues
great video! can do this trail with a jl with stock 35s?
Absolutely!
Is this current condition?
Always call for current conditions this time of year, but unless it got hit with a ton of snow, it’s not going to last because the sun hits it all day
@@TrailTraveler thank you! Wife and I want to celebrate anniversary around Moab and explore.
Thank you for responding and thank you for all the videos you upload. It’s so helpful and enjoyable to watch.
Poor poor title as off road stink...
It was quite enjoyable unless you just like major rock crawling
