found this trail totally by accident - - - so much fun! had to hang on the edge quite a bit b/c of the ruts, but totally fun and great scenery - - only met 1 other driver. Thanks for posting this!
Great video. You guys have another subscriber. I ran this trail when we were in Moab back in 2019. We had a basically stock Wrangler JL Sport rental with 31in. street tires and no lockers and had no issues. Great trail for a Stock Wrangler, 4 Runner, Tacoma. I wouldn't go up there in your Explorer or Cherokee but anything with some ground clearance would be fine.
Thank you so very much. I rarely get a “liked the music” it’s normally” WTF is up with the music, or this video would be better with no music” what do they know!!!! Thx.
Looks like a really fun trail! Been to Arches and never knew that was there. Need to step up my research game...like Trevor. Keep up the great video work, we all greatly appreciate it.
Beautiful scenery! Awesome video! Can't wait until in get my 4runner to the level so that I can do some of the "beginner" trail. Then work my way up to more advanced trails!
Worked my way through most of your archives the last 6 months or so. Nice job with everything, videos, editing, info, installs. I enjoy that you point out that you don't always take the hardest line and keep it realistic with your vehicles. I will say hells revenge looked INSANE. I definitely wouldn't have the gusto to make myself down that line. hc bumpers in your future Kelly? I just added mine from BAMF a couple months ago and its a game changer! Also do you keep a full size spare?
Thank you very much. Arches was awesome. Can’t wait to go back. I actually have a high clearance front and rear bumper in the garage. Just waiting for lights to install them up.
That trail looks perfect! Enough challenges to be interesting, but not to the point you're in any danger of destroying your vehicle, with beautiful views. This is definitely the type of thing I want to do next time I'm out there, hopefully with my 4Runner.
What a great video, really put together. Question on tackling this trail. I'm going to Arches in 10 days, have 4Runner TRD Off Road, 2.5 OME lift (w/UCAs), Have older Toyo Open country ATs and a "beginner" to offroading. Would you recommend this trail? I have another buddy in 4Runner TRD OR as well going.
Hey man. So here is the thing with the Eye of the Whale Trail. It is beautiful the way we went. Nice drive a couple sandy spots but for the most part very chill. You can easily do it. Up until the end. For some reason just before the end of the trail it is really challenging. Trevor and I have to get out and spot each other. Definitely not undoable but challenging. Maybe it’s to keep cars from coming up the back way. If you want you can go for it and if you don’t like what you are turn around and go back the way you came. You might have to spend the night. The trail one way took us all day but we stopped a lot for the hike to the arch and for video, lunch all the usual. Hope this is helpful.
@@AdventureBuilt thank you so much for the reply. Really appreciate it, and its super helpful. Looking for something that is not all day. So maybe doing the out and back. 😃
@@AdventureBuilt I did it back in 2015 with my Tacoma TRD off road. It will make a great video! Trail isn’t hard. But the scenery is amazing. I want to go back with my kids this time.
How are you liking the foam cell pro kit? I just ordered the stage 2 foam cell kit can’t wait to get it. Are you on the on 2.5” or 3” springs up front?
I have run that trail the opposite direction from what they did, if I remember correctly there are really only 2 or 3 areas where you might get into trouble.
Awesome content, dude. How are the Ironman FCP kits working out for you both so far? I’m in between purchasing the nitrogen filled kit or FCP kit and trying to get as much feedback as possible from people who have them on their trucks/SUV’s. Always enjoy your videos, cheers!!!
@@AdventureBuilt Elephant Hill is a fun short trip in The Needles. Good mix of off roading and rock crawling, plus Chesler Park/Joint Trail the the single best day hike in Utah. A trip to the Dollhouse in The Maze is a great overlanding trip that gets you to one of the most remote locations in the continental US.

Yea it was a blast for sure. Thanks.

Thank you very much and could not agree more!!!
Trevor...not able to decide which tire wheel combo to run.hehe great video guys please keep them coming
Haha yea he ended up with a sidewall tear and had to run the spare. He wasn’t happy.
Need to go back to Moab and do the rest of that trail we turned around at the gate
It is totally worth it!!!!
Awesome video Kelly !! Y’all nailed this one oh & the music “spot on” 👍.... keep up the great work and adventures love seeing them

@@AdventureBuilt well Kelly truth be told ... I’ve been one of those WTF with the music guys 😂😂.... again gr8 vid guys 👍

Thank you so very much. Yea I would have never thought.
Awesome job on the videos! We did this trail last weekend and really enjoyed it.
Thank you very much. Yea it was totally awesome.
Liked the different camera angles - you guys are stepping it up (really like the suspension shot)
Thank you very much. Really appreciate it!!!
Very cool video 👍👍 those trails looked amazing
Thank you very much. Way cooler than we thought it would be.
Great video! We are planning on going in June. Any good spots you know where you can boondock for a night? Thanks again for the content!
Hey thx. I don’t know what the National Park regulations are for camping but there was no one out and very remote. Best of luck.

Thank you very much. It’s a perfect trail to get your feet wet.
Great video. My favorite place to camp. A measly 800 miles but worth it.
Thank you very much! Sounds like quite a long trip but I agree. Completely worth it.

Is there much for public land camping around there? Thinking of doing Arches from Canada in April 2022 with our trailer.
Honestly I’m not sure if you can camp in the park but there is definitely lots of camping around Moab. Check iOverlander.
Hey! I saw your BDR series and then some of these videos, you're doing a great job! The channel has progressed a lot!
Thank you very much. I really appreciate it.

The white rim road in canyonlands national park is another awesome off road trail you can drive off road in a park.
Oh yea White Rim is definitely on my list!!! Thanks.

The foam cell pro kit is awesome. I have the 3” coils for the weight that is about to go onto my front end. New bumper and winch. Yaaaaayyyyy.
@@AdventureBuilt can't wait to see what combo you go with. Been looking at getting a new front bumper / winch myself.
Any backcountry camping allowed on this trail?
I’m not sure but I don’t see why not!!!!
I left yet another California police chase for this xlnt video. 👍
Right on. I’m sure it was a happy ending!!! I know ours was.
I'm having trouble finding this trail. Do you have coordinates?
Could a stock Rubicon do this ya think?
Absolutely!
Did I miss why the 4Runner has a different wheel on the front pass. side? Flat on another day?
Yea he ended up gets a sidewall tear from either Hells Revenge or Fins and Things. He was running his spare.
I really enjoyed this one and think I'll give it a shot. Would a stock Tacoma TRD Offroad with rock sliders have enough ground clearance?
I have run that trail the opposite direction from what they did, if I remember correctly there are really only 2 or 3 areas where you might get into trouble.
I’m sure you would be fine. I might rub you rear bumper on a few of the drops but nothing terrible. It’s a really cool trail.
Is this doable with a Tundra with no skid plates on 33s no lift?
lol, no the answer is no ha ha ha ha
Absolutely. Just go slow at the end, it gets a little extreme!
@@AdventureBuilt I'll probably do the first part then turn around lol, with the weight of my camper and gear I'm too afraid lol

Thank you very much. The Ironman kits have been absolutely awesome. Not a single complaint.
Great video, now go checkout Canyonlands! It has a bunch of off road trails. Largest National Park in Utah and has the least number of visitors.
I have always wanted to go but haven’t been able to. Hopefully in the spring. Before it gets too hot. Thx.
