Read somewhere that "The Barkleys" was like the "dog family" counterpart of "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home". Coincidentally, Joan Gerber, who voiced Agnes Barkley in the former, also voiced Irma Boyle in the latter.
And IIRC, "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home" was also shown on RJTV 29, also during the 90s, as part of their classic cartoon block

Eyewitness before it was aired on knowledge channel correct me if I'm wrong. I'm familiar with that moving animals when I was in high school and college in 2000s.

Some highlights in this video :
    - Hanna-Barbera's "Wait Till Your Father Gets Home" was an odd choice for almost long-day kids-only shows lineup (as they were the forerunner to the adult animation that we've seen today like The Simpsons). Also, Viacom Enterprises (not the current Viacom anyway) distributed the show back in the 70s for the international syndication, as in other H-B shows at that time.
    - "Casper and Friends" here seems to be the version that most of its original soundtrack and voices replaced by a new BGMs and voiceovers (this is the version that was used by Indonesian TV station TPI (now MNCTV) when they aired the show dubbed in Bahasa Indonesia, even retained on Trans TV when they shown under "The Harveytoons Show" package.
    - Also the "The Barkley's" print seems to be a PAL print, hence a spedup in the theme tune, presumably the original prints were lost. The series was produced by DePatie-Freleng Enterprises (which become Marvel Productions in 1981) and it was also distributed by Viacom Enterprises (there is a video which consisted combination of the two aforementioned logos straight from the show, another case was from another lost DFE cartoon, "The Houndcats").
It seems the block were mostly dedicated to the shows that wasn't aired by other channel, in particular some PBS Kids programs because only of half of PBS Kids programs mostly syndicated internationally.

Amazing trivia here! But yeah, the channel seems to have an affinity for PBS content. Around 96 or 97, they started adding Japanese anime to the lineup like 8 Man After and Babel II, none of which are intended for children.
Edit: Also, they aired both Speed Racers. Not just the remake seen here.

    - Eyewitness was also aired on Discovery Channel Asia at around the same time, although it was the US version narrated by Martin Sheen
    - Are You Afraid Of The Dark was also aired on ABS-CBN and later on Studio 23
    - The New Speed Racer was also aired on ABC-5
I also remember Square One TV, they had that "Mathnet" segment featuring detectives George Frankly and Kate Monday (later replaced by Pat Tuesday on later seasons), they used mathematics integrated into their detective work. I remember one episode where a state of the art weather plane was stolen and Kate and George try to track it down.

The sheer beauty of genuinely good entertainment from the 1990's aka one of the eras that is deemed the Golden Age of television. Edutainment shows like Eyewitness, Square One, and Guess What, horror anthology shows like Are You Afraid of the Dark, and classic cartoons such as Casper and Wait Till Your Father Gets Home defined the eclectic mixture of genuinely great entertainment and probably boosted a good chunk of children's curiosity when watching these shows on the small screen.

So it looks like I Channel aired an eclectic mix of kids shows, where Hanna Barbera cartoons air on the same channel as some PBS Kids shows as well as some series from Nickelodeon

Wala. Original siya na in-house channel nung nagstart Sky Cable then sinara nila kasi may overlap yung mga laman sa Studio 23 nila at since nagkaroon na rin ng Cartoon Network, Nick, etc. ng kalaunan.

@@undustfixationAkala ko yan yung dating Classic 21, the channel that showed old classic movies just like TNT/TCM. Cos some groups/pages say that Classic 21 split into 2: iChannel and Sky1, which eventually became Pinoy Blockbuster then Cinema One. Am I correct? Kasi nung nagka Sky kami, iChannel na saka Sky 1 yung naabutan ko. iChannel which was first situated on Channel 21

@@emilxaviercruz3410 I think the confusion rose from the fact that i Channel showed classic movies at 3AM which they called "Cinema Greats". I don't put too much stock on these wikis, specifically Russell Wiki. Mali mali information dun kadalasan. I'm going to make a future post about it so others could chime in sa comments section.
