  • In this video I make 3 small, quick and simple woodworking projects that would make great gifts (except for the door stop wedges ofcourse, no one wants to be given one of them for Christmas!).
The first project is a photo or paper display stand made from some salvaged cherry (it might not be cherry!).
The second is some oak door wedges.
The third is a sapele and oak desk tidy smart phone holder stand that holds a mobile phone and some pens.

With slightly wider slots on the photo display design, you could easily make "now playing" stands for people who collect vinyl records and want somewhere visible to store the empty jacket of the currently playing album.

I took various classes as well as finished a one year diploma in carpentry at a local tech college; this is much better than any book I worked out of during those lessons. It explains everything regarding woodworking as well as complements it with helpful photos.?

The phone holders are cool. Would be great if you could somehow hide a wireless charger just behind the face that the phone leans against with the cable coming out of the back. They could be plugged in and also charge ur phone while it’s resting on it.

Instead of hot glue to the table. clamp a piece to the fence then you don't have to move the fence each time you cut. You move the work.

Alright, instead of hot glue on your table saw, use a toggleable magnetic base - fairly sure the DW745 is a pressed steel top so it should stick well.
