Thank you for this Mike, I visited your video a few days back and finally circled back and you have helped me greatly. I have put off getting a video capture card for some time now and found some of these at a bin store for $5 a piece. thank you i will continue to watch to get better at using this! Thank you so much
@@mikesytes thank you for replying. Would you be interred in helping out a fellow content creator? I am having a hard time with my new Sony camera. I recently switched from canon….
@@mikesytes Mike I just want to say again how much I appreciate your help. The main concern that I am having is the color. I create beauty videos and I just cannot nail the color on this camera I am using the profile that you suggested in one of your other videos but I feel like I don’t look crispy enough and my color just looks a little bit too neutral.
Thanks a lot man. This video helped me to be able to use my laptop (hdmi output) as a video capture device on my pc, where I am usging OBS. Awesome. Thanks agagin. You rock.
Haha! I just picked up the 4K-capable version of this card this morning for $40 at my local Micro Center (it's got the Kanex brand, but is otherwise identical). Hooked it up to my Sony RX100 m3 to use as my "B" camera. Out of the box, it's an almost perfect color match to my Elgato HD60 S and Sony a6100! Then, poking around on UA-cam, and your video popped up.
@@mikesytes No worries, Mike. I haven't done any production with it yet -- just some testing. It may actually get used in a way I hadn't initially intended. My band it talking about doing some live streams from our practice studio, so I'm going to be testing with a laptop and Facebook and UA-cam Live soon. Should be interesting....
I love your energy soooooo much ! Thanks for the video i can now live stream with my switch ! Continue with your personnality , i hopes your gonna have much and much subscribers ! Peace ☺️☺️☺️
Hey bro Im using a capture device with a Sony camcorder, extra mic hyperx , the problem is that when playing the music echo show up, i know that muting the mic will be solved but i wish to speak during the dance lessons, any tips?
@@mikesytes I’ve subscribed to your channel, so looking forward to that. I’m new to this streaming life, so still learning. Trying out different settings before my wife & I officially start going live on our UA-cam channel.
I connected HDMI Video Capture card (same one you use in the video) and connected it to my Windows 10 machine, it configures it as a Video Capture in Device Mgr as Camera. When I run OBS the only video source is available is OBS Virtual Camera--I selected it and used the defaults, no video shows up in the OBS windows
@@mikesytes We appreciate you for checking us out. We want to take it to the next level and live stream. Your video was so clear and actually help us set up the camera. We want to connect the tools you've taught us to stream into UA-cam Studio.
I’m so relieved I can have my camera on manual! That was something I couldn’t find the answer to! Your positive attitude is contagious and I’m so glad I found you 💕
Your video helped me find some great items to use my action camera with! Even though it's not a Sony (and doesn't have all these fancy options), it still has a micro HDMI output, so it should work (hopefully)! I really want to be able to stream the output (playing board games with friends online, so recording is useless). Thanks!
Appreciate the video, one question. In OBS for me my camera appears a bit choppy compared to my old logitech webcam. Is there some setting I am overlooking? Thanks in advance!
The dirt cheap USB HDMI 2.0 capture dongles deliver a choppy 30fps max and have much latency (video will arrive later than audio on stream). Spend a little bit more for a USB 3.0 4k60 capable card and use a USB 3.0 port. Much smoother if you want 60 fps and less latency. Also 4k if you want to upgrade camera in the future.
Hi, I have an Sony NEX VG 10 cam and the setup menu doesn´t have that options. Do you have any tip to make it work? I bought the exactly same HDMI video capture. Thanks!
Is A6000 good in low light? I want to do Online Dj Podcasts with Club lights around. I’m about to buy 3x running through Elgato capture cards. Main thing its low light quality. Is its good enough? No squares or blurry image
