hey guys I know some of you already seen this video but it was a re-upload because I didn't like the sound in the video. I may have killed this videos viewership growth but I'd rather have a quality sounding video!
Great videos, I've been checking them all out. I'm learning a lot. I appreciate the fact that you actually let us see how you do your work and what clips work best. Keep it up Much love from Houston, Texas.
+chris bossio Yo!!! This is my actual cut, but I never could get barbers to stay consistent with cutting it the same way and they kept wanting to take the slight drop in the front higher...so I bought my own damn clippers and been gradually working on it myself. I'm getting better and MOS DEF thanks for your knowledge brother!!!
Nice cut man. I think I take about 45 min to an hr on each cut and thought it might be an issue but like you said..I like taking me time and detailing the cut until I feel its right. Cheers!
hey man i lean a lot from since i stared to watch you videos just want to say thanks a whole lot for uploading them plus i'm from the Caribbean a small island call Grenada and they like the cuts i been giving them thanks much once again i be looking forward of seeing more videos....
Ok, first and foremost, I truly admire your passion and drive for barbering. I get it! I'm a licensed cosmetologist myself, and I enjoy watching your videos and it's very obvious you're just so talented and your passion for this is what makes you successful, and I have a very similar passion for the same industry and it's really a true love for the art of hair design. You're so inspiring and I wish I could work with you and learn from you, I feel I would take away so much more because I would get the entirety of the experience and be able to feel the right angles to hold the clippers and how to secure the rocking motion to ensure a smooth fade without creating another line, etc....anyways, thank you for making such awesome videos and staying so committed and passionate about what you do, it's truly inspirational and motivational.
+awoww41188 thank you for all the kind words.. I agree with you I've taken a few hands on courses this year myself trying to improve my all around skill set ... it's made a difference! Wish you much success and congrats on having so much passion yourself💪
Chris Bossio thank you so much for taking the time out to reply, that means a lot. And, happy to announce, I just ordered your tomb 45 shave gel...should have it in a couple days...and it's gotten great reviews! Kudos!
I rarely give comments on any social media outlet but I have to tell you this is a great video! Well explained and easy to follow! Keep the great work!

Your videos are the best. Could you do a similar video, perhaps even longer hair left on top and give more detail about your approach to blending the top of the hair with the low faded portion? That seems to come natural to you, but that's where I am struggling most when cutting friends and family's hair. Thanks, keep up the good work!
In small words I can describe you "excellent" Many of styles than you show in your videos are tendency in Brazil. Man I gotta say thank you for 2 reasons the first because you show how to do step by step and the second 'cause we can get new styles and always growing as a Professional. Hugs From Rio de Janeiro - Brazil
First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to make these videos, edit them, and post them for us. I enjoy watching good barbers as there is always something you can pick up. I'm sure you get asked this all the time but how do you make them liners so damn crispy?!!
Sick vid my dude, very informative and easy to understand. Good angles, like how you touched on everything you were doing and using. Thanks for putting great work out here for us to see.
THANK YOU! this is one of the best tutorials I've seen and I've been mining through quite a few of them. You do an amazing job and I'm so glad you are willing to take the time to teach. I do have a question though, how do you cut for someone who has multiple girigiri... (whorls?)? My son has 3, one on the brow (that kind of goes away if we let his hair grow out enough, one to the side of his nape which we try to keep at zero, and one that makes his hair look like a palm tree is trying to sprout (usually within a week and a half of his last cut)... Fortunately he's too young to really care right now... but that isn't always going to be the case. We've had spotty luck trying to find a decent barber, so I'm trying to learn how to cut his hair properly now, before he's old enough to care. Do you have any suggestions?
Preciate this video, It was helpful. Rockin with what you said about taking your time and having fun with the cut; was able to relate 💯 don't hear much barbers talk like that salute my guy.
Hey nice video. I am a baber in training with only Wahl clipers. Would you mind making a Wahl clipper video doing this low drop fade? I have to admit your cuts have been maybe the cleanest I've ever seen.
@chrisbossio hey Chris I do a lot of drops fades, just started couple months ago barber school. That's a good tip right there at 2:20 clarifies that the first transition should be bout an inch then after, u can shorten the length to half inch because it is getting darker the contrast. Thanks bro. I watch all ur videos.
So what’s easiest for most people? To fade from top down or bottom up. Meaning after you put your guide with the lever open should u immediately drop down and close the guard and fade up or should u start closing gradually and work your way down from the guide line. What’s the general consensus?? Help me out UA-cam
Hey Chris just started watching your vidz on cutting hair I cut my own hair kinda hard but recently got some good clippers and edgers thx to your vidz and links you had on your vidz nice ! Thanks bro your cuts are sick AF thx for them tips keep em coming !!
Hey man im a fan of yours & i've been learning so much from you, I can feel your passion when you're explaining the cut in some of these videos. so i have a request, mind doing a video on proper clipper over comb & hair trimming with scissors?
Yeah I'm working on something for that.. I don't do much clipper over comb tbh but I love scissors ... at least I can show how I got about both techniques
Must you use a zero gaurd to blend the 1 or could you blend it with a number 1 closed? I'm asking because in South Africa we only have gaurd 1,2,3,4,5,6
thanks for the good tutorial. could I please ask what is the name of the cable tube that you wrapped on your trimmer cable? as my cord always get tangled and also can't find that thing from eBay as i don't know the name of the item so i can't search.. your reply would be greatly appreciated
Does the 1/16 guard go between the 1 closed and Blade Open? And is the 1/16 supposed to be open or closed or just play with the lever as needed? Good vid btw I'm going to try this bro
The grey or green (uk version I have) guard goes between blade open (0.5) and the 1 guard. With the blade closed, grey guard on you have the same as 0.5. Opening it gradually brings it to 0.75. Wish I had these guards in college!
I only have one wahl clipper that’s zero gapped . Am I able to do this hair cut with it? Or will it throw it all off? ... the biggest guard I use on myself is the 1 1/2 .... I have long hair that’s tapered up.. I only get tapers and low fades .
What guards and at what open/closed lever do you you start at? Like from start to finish I been trying to fade I followed every step watched a lot of videos and can’t seem to knock it out
Bro what clippers do you recommend me I got the seniors & detailers but I need to get faster on cutting all my clients are satisfy with my cuts but I I feel I take since I like my work to be perfect
+Miguel De La Cruz I like the andis improved master/ regular masters better then both.. but I'd go with seniors over fade master.. the blade on fades snag scalp
I have hair that falls in the category between tall and short but idk if I want a taper fade or flattop. I have a square jaw and strong features so I feel I should get a taper. But again idk. Any suggestions.
I need help I can't remember the number they use on my side can u help I remember they cut on top a #3 nd nd the side a double zero but that was the to show the fade nd give it a better look nd see it blend in I need help to see what type of haircut I got
what trimmers are you using? and why did you take the cover off from the blade? i have the andis t liners. but they arent great for coarse hair. i notice they pull the coarse hairs. is there an edger to use for coarse hair?
hey guys I know some of you already seen this video but it was a re-upload because I didn't like the sound in the video. I may have killed this videos viewership growth but I'd rather have a quality sounding video!

Your hand eye coordination is on another level yo you can tell your a master barber!!
Would love to see you redo this low drop fade haircut with the tools and method you've been using more recently.

wow that was one of the nicest fades i seen goes well with a size 6 on top u got skills homie

awesome fade, looks dope! never tried that style on me and think this would look good on my kind of hair. I need a new look lol
Is it better to work from the 0-up, I usually make the first two guidelines then work from the top down
Does the 1/16 guard go between the 1 closed and Blade Open? And is the 1/16 supposed to be open or closed or just play with the lever as needed? Good vid btw I'm going to try this bro
+Turboman Yes, between 1/8 closed and the half blade. And play with the lever. I have it halfway, or closed sometimes if there's still a line.
The grey or green (uk version I have) guard goes between blade open (0.5) and the 1 guard. With the blade closed, grey guard on you have the same as 0.5. Opening it gradually brings it to 0.75. Wish I had these guards in college!
Kunta Kinte thanks!
Thanks for sharing your talent, I've learn a lot from you ! Thanks again, keep up the good work 👍🏻
My sentiments exactly, give it your all, great guy, real, no B.S thankyou
I only have one wahl clipper that’s zero gapped . Am I able to do this hair cut with it? Or will it throw it all off? ... the biggest guard I use on myself is the 1 1/2 .... I have long hair that’s tapered up.. I only get tapers and low fades .
hi Chris, perfect work .. where can i get the straighter for the cables of the clippers
?
Hey man where can i get ur full set of equipment i never done this before and i want to learn if possible nice vid!
Question: do you always shave the bottom of the neck with electric shaver instead of the blade?
You could, or you could use a straight. its the same thing electric is just quickers
Great job.any advice on replacing the clipper Cord
How would i ask for this fade to my barber? like "1 on the sides then fade it down" ? thanks!
yo amazing videos I wanted to ask when getting a low fade does it always start from bald or can it start from a 1
+Baran Aydogan it can be a 1 just make sure the top is a good amount longer or you won't see enough transition for a low fade to make sense
+chris bossio thanks for the help.
Andy Authentic, u, Jeezy 360 be Killin it bro.💈
Remember the personaa blades? Throw back.
What guards and at what open/closed lever do you you start at? Like from start to finish I been trying to fade I followed every step watched a lot of videos and can’t seem to knock it out
Hey Chris. Great Cut. How do you get the #2 to blend into the #6? Every time I try to fade such a big guard-gap, I leave a ring around my head.
1 O you've gotta pivot outward in a C motion
This man has too much power barber of my dreams
I really appreciate your videos. Big help to me. Thank you so much
bossio, I took my andis masters blades off to clean and when I put them back on the inside blade wont move side to side. how can I fix this?
What if the person wants a number 4 or 5 on top? What would I do differently?
Clean cut man. Gained a subscriber💯
Bro what clippers do you recommend me I got the seniors & detailers but I need to get faster on cutting all my clients are satisfy with my cuts but I I feel I take since I like my work to be perfect

Those cuts are fenomenal i love them chris, can you tell me the names of the songs you use
nice fade quick question what clippers would you recommend the andis fades master or the Wahl seniors?
+Miguel De La Cruz I like the andis improved master/ regular masters better then both.. but I'd go with seniors over fade master.. the blade on fades snag scalp
Which is better bro masters or seniors ?
can you show after every step how to position the lever ?
I like watching your videos, and what are some good blades to use because the ones I have aren't really getting the job done? any suggestions?
+Jamord Williams personnas, dorco prime, are top
+chris bossio ok thanks hopefully I can find some
Hey Chris, I was wondering what is the brush you're using?
What's the difference between a Low Fade, and a Low Bald Fade?
Great tutorial bro, quick question lets say my client has a 8 on top what clipper number should i use on the sides to blend in with the 8??
+Blake P what about underneath the 4 can i use the 2 to blend into the 4 or do i need to use the 3?
+Blake P agreed .. great explanation
Can you just say how many mm the guards are? And with wich one you start till the end
blend on point as always
Wow I took a screenshot of his fade and I will show it to my barber 😂

andis or wahl for me
Should I get this cut if I have a round face?
what trimmers are you using? and why did you take the cover off from the blade? i have the andis t liners. but they arent great for coarse hair. i notice they pull the coarse hairs. is there an edger to use for coarse hair?
