This is pure common sense, Mr Sundar, thank you for identifying it and bringing it to our notice!
It's a standard method written in books.
Many can identify this by experience even if they haven't studied.
But, simplifying in Sundar sir way is not possible for others.

Or one more option buy the ATM option double the quantity!! Bcoz delta of ATM is 0.5.. so buy double the quantity delta becomes 1.. this will also mimic the futures prices..
@@varunml you are wrong. What happens when the mkt is flat. There ll be time decay in the options. The sold put decay ll match the calls decay. So there wont be time decay loss in this

Datta One more added advantage is whenever there is a trending day like on friday ATM becomes ITM and your double quantity gives you the bonus points.. more than the futures price!!

This is very basic and quite easy strategy. But you have missed one thing. If you are selling any option in Synthetic strategy. That selling CE or PE is charging huge margin.

This is a really great video without going into Greeks! ATM options have 0.5 delta, so they add up to delta = 1, which is equivalent to one futures lot!!

Simple equation to remember synthetics..
CUP (mnemonics)
The equation is C (call) = U ( stock) + P ( put)
1) Synthetic long
C - P = U (Negative sign indicates short)
2) Synthetic short
-C + P = -U

Sir I have one doubt for example I created synthetic long futures via options.
I bought nifty 10000 call at 100rs and sold nifty 10000 put at 105rs and let's assume india vix was 15 at this time and now volatilty increases to 29 and put call ratio becomes unbalanced as market falls significantly, so put becomes expensive as compared to calls and now mrkt is at 9500, so 10000 strike price put has intrinsic value of 500+ some time value will be there. Let's assume 10000 put strike price premium is 700 and 10000 strike price call premium is left 25.
Loss showing in put would be 105-700=595
Loss in call 100- 25= 75
Net loss 595+75= 670
If I would have bought future net loss would have been 10000- 9500= 500 only but bcuz I have bought synthetic long future so net loss is 670.
Correct me if I am wrong plzz
It's my doubt that volatility would impact options pricing and if put call ratio becomes unbalanced and that too against us than it will impact our trade?????

If index moves too much opposite to your trade, then loss will be more in synthetic future than normal future.
