This is the famous Option Collar Strategy with twist on ratio. Very well explained and implemented. The naked calls selling would require huge collateral though, that many of us can not afford.

This appears to be a strategy for HNI or rich retailers and not for small retail investors. Buy 1 lot futures and sell 3 lots call requires huge margins. Nothing wrong with the strategy, but this is not for small investors. This is my opinion (I may be wrong) and not a hate comment. He's an extremely likeable person.
Rather than buying future @ 17200 and buying PE of 17000, you can simply but 17000 CE and again sell 3 CE 0f 21000

Simply sell Dec call @500 of strike 21000. And Dec put of 13000 at 500 ( distance 4000each)
One year has 48 weeks i.e 48 weekly expiry . Evey Thursday buy 13000 put and 21000 call at. Max to max 2-3 RS.
Our profit range 12000-22000.
It will be Rs 2-3 only if Market remains @ 17000, If Market will be at 20800 after 2 months, you will get 21000 CE @ 2-3? And if Market is at 17000 why to waste even those Rs 5-6 :)
