    I bought those and a pair of flat nose after Christmas a couple of years ago at Ace Hardware on a BOGO sale. I think I paid $15 plus tax for both pair. I had just purchased a set of Lowes branded vice grip pliers and didn't really need them but after getting them the difference is clear. The Milwaukee "vice grip" are better built and they're made from much better metal. Also, for the people that don't get the tightener on the end of the Milwaukee. There are a lot of times where I don't want to reclamp 2 or 3 times to readjust/retighten the plyers so being able to tighten without going through all of that is real nice like.
    Thanks Clint! 🍻

    In the trades, i have seen basic vise grips with washers welded to them for the same purpose.

    I have the smaller pointed Vise grips and the regular pare of Vise grip and love the new style of vice grips because even when you don't have to clamp down on something they're so much easier to use. I highly recommend them. TRZ hope all is good brother. 👍🇺🇸

    I love those locking pliers, got 3 of them floating around this truck. Get used often. When it’s go time they get thrown in there. 😂

    I took the torque lock of the Milwaukee and swapped it to my Irwin vice grip. It fits perfectly and makes it look cooler!

    Nass
    Now if they would make some like the engineer’s with a rounded groove for screw heads in the tip
    But with left hand threads. Then you could tighten down and get more leverage when extracting a screw
    I like mine. The needle nose are kind of sloppy, side to side play when trying to get a round screw head
    The non needle nose ones are more solid but all work real Nass like at clamping.
    It’s just the best design for cranking down tight

    I have pliers that have that. The feature is nice for -hanging it off my nipple ring- hanging it on a peg board.

    You can also attach a rope to the eye of the bolt to use in lifting.

    Hey brother any chance you can leave those little scattered bits of info on the screen longer? I found myself rewinding and pausing quite often just to read them. Or is that by design for the algorithm and ratings? Regardless still an awesome video, much love and respect from the DMV.

    Tony down by the shore in joooyywzeee aka jersey likes these pliers he sez he can use them to slowly crank them down slowly on toes until they speak thanks to the screw driver trick he is a wise guy but he said they are REAL NAS like!!

    I would say when using these Milwaukee pliers they open up easier then your normal style of pliers so I would be careful if you're working on tile floor or hardwood floor because you will be leaving a mark if they fall.💯👍

    Those also have, the ability to cut wire / plastic...
    Ive had a pair, of those for 3 years.
    I use them in First Response calls...
    Technically they're electricians pliers...thats how i found those.
    I use a caribeener on the loop, to tether the tool...

    If that adjuster is plastic, and not rubber coated steel, I don't need to explain to anyone with common sense, why that is just waiting to snap? Still would go with USA Vise Grips my, man?

    I really don't see the point of this. Just clamp the pliers over the piece with the knob over adjusted (too tight/you cant close them) and adjust the knob with your other hand till you can close them

    • @collinwall5169
      @collinwall5169 Рік тому

      The idea is that you can have more clamping force by tightening them even further after they are locked on the workpiece

    • @ekd1985
      @ekd1985 Рік тому

      @@collinwall5169 I have never needed additional clamping force after using them correctly. 🤷‍♂️ Also I think its better to have the teeth snap into and bite the material rather than slowly being tightened. The whole point with vice grips is that you make them smaller then the material and use the mechanical advantage of the pliers to grab and lock onto the material. Tightening with a screw driver makes it a glorified clamp.

    You Mispronounced the Brand Name awfully and I mean it’s probably the worst I’ve ever heard😊, learn how to properly pronounce especially a UA-camr reviewer it’s not Mill-walkway-Kai-yaa or however you attempted to say. It’s MIL-WAW-KEE or MWAU-KEY I use Milwaukee Tools and Live in Milwaukee. I felt I had to correct you!
