I prefer this song, it feels more contemporary than P O A S and would I think also have won Eurovision and very possibly had a more positive impact on Sandie Shaw’s subsequent career, if only because it was more modern … “I’ve been around, I’ve had a lot of fun” … and less typical of what has become regarded as an archetypal Eurovision song. The record has some great breathy vocals. Sandie Shaw has said this is the song that she hoped would be chosen to go forward to the competition.

I agree completely. This was clearly the best song of the five that were performed in the show (hosted by Rolf Harris).

Was Sandie Shaw the lone singet of the Pre Selection. Song For Europe video remain unknown for us from Continental Europe.
