It just blows me away...completely far away, what you can do with your equipment. I love the fact that you just get down and make a bloody great sounding track without even breaking a sweat. Just for exhibition purposes. And the way you matter of fact explain what you are doing.. well... it just blows me away...Cheers Mr.H for your hard work and wonderful talents. You really are amazing. Peace 🎸🎶🎸🎶🎸🎶🎸✨
Thank you Sir. After watching your RC5 introduction I bought a used RC2 to step into those pedals. You are still awesome on guitar and loops. Also thanks to Boss supporting you.
Alex is the Boss set to auto cut off if you slightly are out...as in I can set RMX drums to trigeer "immedialty" Next 16th _ next bar etc. Same with Ableton. It's so seamless the way you do it...I find the stress of triggers slightly cut short or a bit off the is unit seems so much easier than setting preferences in each Bar regardless of length. A stellar performance and world class as for as the entire UA-cam community of multi instrumentalists virtuosos.
Thankyou thankyou alex. I’ve literally been waiting years and years for somebody to do a multi section looping thing with different progressions in each section! HALLELUJAH 🎉
Brilliant to see a pro using loopers, but this specific pedal well. So many people in the forums complain about how bad the RC600 is, so it's nice to see it being used well, even if it is in a video. Also nice to see someone who knows their equipment. So many guys out there who call themselves " loop artists" just because they can record a weak beatbox and loop 4/5 chords. Thanks for taking the time to upload..👍🏿
So I've have a hard enough time trying to wrap my brain around my Boss RC-10R. This things makes my looper look like a baby's toy! Excellent looping video showing me the stars to shoot for.
I will never forget your GT 55 video and I was so close to buying one! I then saw you as the Guitarist with Steven Wilson and it totally made sense that he had chosen you 😊
Thank you Alex for the insight into Boss's New RC-600!!! It looks like another great Innovational tool for all musicians!!! You are The Pinnacle in Product Demonstrations for Boss/Roland Musical Products! They are very lucky to have such a Extremely talented Professional like you to take their professional line of products to the next level! Cheers 🍻 mate Great 👍🏻 Work! Dana E💫
Very nice presentation, that's actually What's Needed, REAL WORLD CREATIVE USAGE, that Truly HINTS at What IS Possible, and a Very Talented Player. Nice Piece. Thanks!! Very interested to Hear and See the funk Piece as well.
Great performance! Do you by chance have a video explaining your entire set up with the RC 600? I would love to know how you got your drums incorporated.
I am still trying to save up for the 300 model! This 600 model looks amazing and the inputs + auto loop feature smoothly assists in production. Absolute legend Alex cheers for the demo 👏⭐🤖💥
Omfg I am so excited this is what I’ve been longing for, for years! I’m sure I’m not alone in being absolutely bored to death of people doing 1645’s over and over and over for eternity! This is Prog looping with different time signatures in each section. Boss have absolutely nailed it here ❤. I shall order one now !!!!!! God bless you alex you’ve just cost me £500 😂
@@AlexHutchingsMusic All good buddy, miss you much, hope to see you soon somewhere! My libs ale nevel gonna be the same again... lock $ lorr killed em 🤣
Oh, I am going to get one of these or a 505. Any thoughts on one over the other. I have had loopers in the past and got rid of them for one reason or another. A trio and a long time ago a Oberheim echoplex.
My Dream Set Up!!! Electric Drum Kit & Keyboard to record stuff via MIDI …. Along with a DAW to add in guitars …. Then a multi-track looper to be able to take things live/portable. 😊👍👍👍 Does Boss make a smaller 4 Track version of the RC 600? The RC600 is just too big for a portable rig for me, but I need at least 4 separate tracks … here is my idea …. * I’d make backing tracks by importing core tracks from a DAW like Drums, Bass, Keyboards, maybe additional guitars like this…… Track 1) Drums Track 2) Bass Track 3) Keyboards / Various Sounds Track 4) Other Backing Guitars. Then, since they are individual tracks I could control volumes of mixes & effects, or mute them completely if I had availability of real people/musicians to replace those individual tracks. So I’m either jamming with looper like a complete band alone, or subbing in or out real musicians in place of those tracks whenever available. * No matter what the situation, I’d have a full band to jam with always! Thanks for Sharing 😊👋
That's a very interesting way to think of using it... To be honest for what yo've described this would be completely perfect... and you've even have 2 more track available... I'm afraid I don't think there is anything I can think of more portable and capable of what you need it for... Sorry mate... P.S it isn't actually that big in real life... I've just started gigging with it and it's pretty compact. Either way good luck with your endeavours. 👍🙏🎸
I have never actually used or seen an RC-600 in person before but I have seen so many cool videos like your video that I ordered it today and will receive it in a few days. Your video was very impressive and so many well-thought out ideas. I also find that you use an 8-string fscinating (as I own 2). Keep up the great work!
WOW Alex!! I hope my future me can play even a quarter as good as your future you can!! 🤣🤣 As always the level of skill you display here on all fronts is truly inspirational and much appreciated. I also found the commentary entertaining and informative- thanks so much man! I hope BOSS are paying you enough! All the best from me and hope you have a great weekend! 🤘🎸💥👍😘
Can you build up a verse and then move onto a chorus and then switch back to the verse again as you can with the singular sounds loop pedal? Can the song have different structural loops? Verse bridge chorus verse etc
great job. loved the video. i've been wanting to see someone do a tutorial like this. great idea to talk your way thru the demo ... works great and flows better for the lesson. yeah, you could have gone on. but, great job. keep going. and, thank you.
How exciting, I hope you have fun when it arrives. If I was in the neighbourhood I'd gladly help. 😉 Wishing you much Joy with it when it arrives. All the best 👍🎸🙏
Are you using a click from the RC-600 in your ears to get the whole thing started? Seems like the only way to start up in perfect time with the units preset tempo and bars.
can you please explain the external foot-switches. im only finding videos that assign them to all start all stop or fx and clearly you are using them to record on the next tracks. thank you so much.
hi , just a quick question , how are you triggering to record and stop on the E-drums .. can a drum trigger be used as a stop/start switch ? Ive just order a rc600 and would like to try looping with my Roland drums and guitars .. nice vid .
Hey! amazing! Can you tell me if there is a way to start 2 tracks just with one action? just one button...I like to put the kick on track one and basse on track 2 for example , how can I start the two simultaneously with RC 600? Thanks.
excellent ... and could you please explain to me how to assign a pedal so that I can turn the mic input on and off ... so that I can record myself on the chorus of a song, but not on the verse ... so that the 2nd time through the chorus, I can sing harmony, and maybe on the 3rd time I can sing a 3rd harmony ??? Thank you. Z

Thanks for being awesome. Most tutorials for this pedal have the know how, but lack the musical skill to showcase the pedal artistically

Hey, cool, I'm liking your channel.
Pro! Not many people will see the effort and skills playing out behind the scenes.
Anyone knows what scale has been played there?
I am going to get the RC-600! Got a bit of money but will sell my RC-5 and ME-80 in mint condition to raise the extra cash :)
Beautifully done!
Where can I listen to the full audio track? :)
Have they finally enabled multisection serial looping at last ?!!!!

Muito bom... Mestre 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
