I think the main takeaway I received from this discussion was seeing how both of you kept your faith, held your family together, and didn’t give up through physical and mental challenges. So glad to hear all of you are safe and sound. I wish you continued success. From these setbacks you can only get stronger! Not that you asked, but I think COVID-19 is going to result in an explosion of home gym construction/outfitting. So, maybe you should consider a more thorough documentation of the process and decisions you go through to create your new home gym. For example, you mentioned you installed a new floor in your home gym. What are good floorings for home gym dedicated spaces? Are any DYI friendly. The sky is the limit here. At least, IMO. Also, your wife seems like she is a very gentle soul. A nice UA-cam Duo!!
Thanks! And yes, my wife actually made the same observation as you: that people will be looking to UA-cam for inspiration for their own home gyms. So I think I may make some videos of our process in case it helps someone else.
Techy Agent Awesome! In my basement I currently have my road bike on a trainer connected to the Zwift virtual cycling platform via an Apple TV with a 55" Plasma screen. An elliptical. A recumbent training bike. Freeweights. And a Bowflex. My daughter also works out there and she uses a lot of these machines plus she does aerobic dance, zumba, etc. Right now the space is not very efficiently arranged and the floor is carpeted...which is hard to keep clean. I'll be on the lookout for any helpful videis you put out on this!

Yeah, it will be in investment, cost a little money on the front end but I hope that it pays for itself when I no longer have to have a gym membership!

Focus on cardio exercises and less gim based exercise (those you use only to make your muscles strong in order not to get wounded) this will make you healthier if you want to heel your back take tennis ball ( I prefer you take tai chi ball the one that Joseph demarko is prudocing) and roll it on the points that hearts it will Increase the blood pressure there and it will heel your tissue over there and also do exercise that built the muscles in your back if you do that you will soon see results
Spend a lot of time with your family and especially your wife because eventually in the end this is the only thing that left in life so invest in the important thing that will make you happy and because of that you will be also healthy (research shows that when you are happy you are healthy and the most happy this g in your life is your wife and your kids) we in our country invest a lot of time in our family and believe me it makes us very happy and give us strength to go through all the difficulty and the challenges in life
