Mate, this is awesome. The last 2 minutes is exactly what I needed to hear. I’m trying to use my skills to benefit God’s people, and therefore serve more . I prayed about this recently asking God what he wants me to do for him, and asking him to show me, given I run a successful advertising agency, ( after all, surely God wants me doing more than advertising) and then this opportunity presented itself to help a Christ centered rehab, which was an answer to prayer. I love that your video spoke directly to this, it almost felt directed at me.

great insight into your process and seeing what it was like to travel and film with the conditions. The foggy footage looks gorgeous! By the way I create short films and just wrapped up one centered around an aspiring painter in Sweden. If you have a moment I'd appreciate you taking a look Will, thank you! :)

Hey Will, awesome video as usual! I've been subscribed for quite a while and I don't usually comment, but I just wanted to say that even though it doesn't show in the amount of views, your videos are great! As an aspiring filmmaker, videos like your has helped me a lot. That's all. Keep it up!

Did you consciously choose this Zeiss 35mm lens and not 35/1.8 or 35/1.4GM?
I have this 35mm Zeiss and it’s not the first time I see people choosing this Zeiss for the video. Some people think this Zeiss is not that clinical as GM.
Personally I’m still with this lens is just because how bad the focus breathing in 35GM. And with focus breathing compensating it make a huge crop to compensate this amount of breathing.

No when I bought a 35mm this was the best choice for Sony, it was a year or two before the GM was released.

@@willthedp Got it ;-) I wanted to switch to GM a couple of times, but crazy amount of focus breathing on GM stops me. To be honest I never saw this amount of focus breathing on any other lens. Sometimes it’s not just unpleasant looking, but just unusable. With the “focus breathing compensation“ function in a camera is turned on it crops heavily with 35GM, so it becomes more like a 40mm. I have a 50GM so 40mm will be too close.
It’s unfortunate because I like the size of 35GM and I have a couple of GM primes, so 35GM will be more in line with my other glasses.
