I saw this review a month ago and almost didn’t buy this knife. Now that I owned this knife for almost a month now, I can’t stop picking it up. It’s so much fun and works fine as an edc. The blade play is the only downside. Ofcourse a balisong is more functional but for most settings, this knife is the one
Then it wouldnt of been what it is...the whole thing that makes this better, or the entire reason youre paying attention to it, is because it isnt a traditional flipper. If it was, you most likely wouldve never heard of it, or even knew it existed. This thing would just be a "meh🤷♂️" flipper on the same level as a crkt if it didnt grab out attention with the unique opening. Other than that, its very boring and plain looking with no special materials being used.
I just got my Magblade, and I do see where you are coming from in terms of it not being as satisfying or functional as a Balisong. But I view it more as a half gravity and half balisong. You can do a standard bali opening or let gravity open it. With some practice on opening and closing, it has become one of my favorite knives! Definitely not as satisfying to fidget with over a Balisong, but I dont see it as a full-on Bali so to me its just another cool knife. Love your videos btw!
@Chrispy Things [EDC] Thank you,Chrispy. I also wanted to say that this was a very nice video and that it's a shame such a beautiful balisong isn't up to what this type of knife is supposed to be.
it will not never be balisong but i been playing with it and therfe is a trick to it..u have to turn it to open and close...u need time maybe smaller hand..restocking fee iz 20..$or sell it to me if u dont like it..half price if u are friendleeee
It's not how you open it I had one before this came out was not magnetic so just hold it and use your thumb to flip it around 360 hold there safe side I'm palm
@@jberts3141 so you DIDNT watch the video. Lol. It’s M390 and the handle is grade 5 titanium. I paid 199 and it’s limited. I’m fact, I’ll keep it and sell it for double in a few years. 🤣

Magblade is beautiful, however the makers could of made everyone's life simpler by adding a flipper tab instead...
Could have*

I needed to see this video. I was admiring one yesterday on their site. Good thing they were on backorder.
Originally wanted the slide but I got this one instead! Love it but I still want the slide!
this is a computer deigned knife.. looks good on computer paper
I recently bought the AI slide and I love it super fidgety.
Does it open in the pocket?
Great...Now I want one.
Because I said I regret buying it? Lol
@Chrispy Things [EDC] no, not in spite of your review. It's just cool.
Just ordered 😂
The more I watch these types of videos, the more likely I am to get convicted of a crime I didn't commit 💀
Lol. To be honest, that could happen to anybody at anytime in 2023. Just go about your business and carry what ya want

@@alexadascalitei7431 Agreed. And thank you
the times that I used one I didn't have a problem opening and closing it just needs a little practice
I’m perfectly capable opening a real balisong just fine, but I need to practice opening this thing?
@@ChrispyThings I also needed practice to get the opening for the balisong I wouldn't take myself as the stander 🤷♂

@@ChrispyThingsunfortunately it's not as limited as the Kickstarter made it to seem. Still a cool knife though.
