- how semi-permanent fantasy colors work, applying them & tips to make them last even longer.
key points:
•the lighter your hair = the brighter the color will look
•most of the time you have to pre-lighten (bleach) your hair before applying fantasy colors
•you can apply them on darker hair; it will give it a tint in the light- not necessarily completely change the color of your hair
•most fantasy colors are semi-permanent and do not need to be mixed with a developer to work
•to make the colors last longer always shampoo them with color safe shampoo in cold water & avoid sun exposure and hot tools

(I personally prefer to use xmondo colors or pravana vivids; neither of those are sponsored, just what I prefer out of all the brands I've tried- pravana vivids offer a wider variety of shades. Pravana is a professional brand, making it harder to find- check eBay and walmart.com, but PLEASE check the SPELLING- a lot of folks sell knockoff colors it is spelled PRAVANA- no extra letters)

I just did my money piece with Brads Rhodolite last week. It’s a very pretty pink. It’s just too dark for me. I love baby pink. I was hoping for a neon hot pink so I swung by Sally’s and picked up a jar of his clear gloss to lighten it up. I also picked up some color remover crystals by ion. You mix with water so it’s very gentle on the hair. 1 section ( of course) didn’t lighten up so I need to go back more because dandruff shampoo isn’t pulling it out! His color is SOOO pigmented. It holds longer than 15 days for me. ❤U girl!

@brittneealexushair How would this do on dark hair that has silver/white grey roots popping in EVERY where? I'd also love to see you do a video on how to add more silver/white to dark hair to blend the natural greys.
I've left in the Super colors overnight. Because of the hair mask properties, I let it sit as long as I can manage before rinsing. His Red fades into a rose red, just so you know. It's really pretty (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

Love these vids!!! My only issue is that pinks seem to fade to a rusty/brassy/orangy pink if you don’t have your hair at a level 9 or 10 prior to application. I WISH they faded to a pastel pink but I’ve just never had my hair white enough for that to happen I guess. Keep up the good work! 🦋🌈🫧🙄🌙🫶
I bought a violet color by a brand called Arkemusa and I thought it was a purple toner type thing, well, I threw it in my hair and my hair came out PURPLE! It was not a toner, it was a freaking dye! I was NOT happy lol.

It's a great color combo! I'm 100% gray and I use pravana smokey violet on about 3 inches of my ends.....it's awesome!😊

@@razzberriberet sometimes I do but only if I want a lighter color...mixing it with conditioner just turned it to a lighter purple. MAJOR tip though...if you're using purple and don't want it to fade royal blue (which I hate) mix it with garnet or wild orchid. I usually do 3 part purple to 1 part garnet and it fades to a lighter purple.

Ion does permanent fantasy colors ( ◜‿◝ )♡ My red eyebrows were equal parts red and magenta to match my XMondo Super Red. I found my face washes makes my semi-permanant colors disappear from my eyebrows (≧▽≦)
How do you recommend going from a level cool level 5 brown to a vibrant red. I can tell you understand color. Please help. Thank you!
Personally i used a mix of two artic fox colors for a bright burgundy color. ❤
