Very entertaining.... Primare have continued to produce great components, understated yet exquisite.... Beautiful mention of Mads and Martin at Audiovector... Terry also made cool reference to Audiovectors slogan "Just listen"... Thanks for doing this one Mike 👍🏻
Great interview Mike. I use blue jean cables for economic reasons. I’d be open to trying others if my economic status changed. Speaker and component isolation is a no brainer.
@@audioarkitekts yes they do, reason I went them initially. Love these interviews. Primare is another company I’d consider if economics weren’t a consideration. You know Schiit is coming with a transport right? Can’t wait for a review on that😀
I think there’s more people than you think that are open to the idea of various “tweaks”, let’s call them, changing the behavior of various equipment; most have a “make me believe” mentality. The tendency of any supposed upgrade/change however is always always always always attached to an exorbitant price tag. That’s why the beer coaster story is so amusing as to be nearly unbelievable, and that’s why there’s a lot of pushback from people when told that a $5000 cable sounds soo much better than your $50 cable, and if you have a more expensive system, then naturally you have to have $10,000 cables instead.
I think there is a bit of difference in cables when I’ve heard them demonstrated for me however I don’t think it’s necessarily “better” just a bit of a different sound.
I've had so many pc and mac optical drives fail in a year or two, not even with heavy use . Its nice to know someone is thinking about durability.

So are the cd transports available in the US? I’m not seeing any.

you lost me slightly with the slot loading grabbing the cd. I mean really car cd players have done that since the 90's
