Geoff Tate, Jeff Kieth, Sebastian Bach, and Stephen Pearcy were, and still are, some of my favorite vocalists. Geoff Tate, of course, takes it to a whole new level!
Saw these kids open up for Kiss in St Louis way back in the 80's, had no idea who they were, but when Geoff hit those notes that only a few have ever hit, I was blown away...the headline at the time for them was of course the legendary...TaKE HOLD OF THE FLAME! You just knew they were on their way to superstardom, and man they did not disappoint! My oh my...saw them 5 times over the next two decades and they never disappointed live, always exceeding expectations in the studio....Operation Mindcrime, and Empire have to be two of the best heavy metal albums I ever owned, and anyone who says this is not heavy metal, never sawed them live! Peace!
That's cool.....yeah I saw them open for AC/DC in Sacramento in 1986 and I was blown away. I became a fan instantly. Rage for Order became my "soundtrack" for my Senior year in high school. Operation Mindcrime became my soundtrack for my sophomore year in college, and Empire became the soundtrack for my Senior year in college. This particular song "Anybody Listening?" is a beautiful song.
This was the first Queensryche song I ever heard. I was stunned by it's beauty and power. From the Empire album I went backwards to their beginnings and was amazed at the quality of the music, vocals, and lyrics! Decades later I'm STILL amazed! And they're still my favorite band in the universe. I've seen then live and met them many times, and was so impressed every time!!

Yes, Geoff. Many have been listening, have seen what's going on. Continue to see the light. At all costs. Just know that some light can never be "seen".
Peace!
Rockenfield and Jackson are the tightest rhythm section ever. I have never seen them live; those two alone must be amazing in concert.
🤘🤘🤘🤘
That's where I first saw them. The Warning had just been released. Awesome concert.
@@nathanritzo2228 What a shame.
They...the original 5 were amazing.
I saw them so many times...I lost count.
This Cat is an amazing vocalist
This was the first Queensryche song I ever heard. I was stunned by it's beauty and power. From the Empire album I went backwards to their beginnings and was amazed at the quality of the music, vocals, and lyrics! Decades later I'm STILL amazed! And they're still my favorite band in the universe. I've seen then live and met them many times, and was so impressed every time!!
Great band where the quality just oozes out naturally
They put on a fantastic show live also! Super impressive!
Best song on the album. A seven minute masterpiece.
Bad ass band... One of the best vocals I heard including Milijenko.
Geoff Tate's Voice is just top period. Love to hear him sing.
Likely the best band ever formed. Too bad so many missed out on this.
Geoff's voice is truly amazing!!! I've been listening to Queensryche for decades and I never get enough of the music !!!!!
The height of their power. They never recovered from Chris leaving.
Queensryche are/were true artists.....the feeling in this song, the beauty, the emotions.....fantastic!!!!
These lyrics still crush everyone today and speak volume of the insight the Ryche had....beyond it's time....
