Another great video! I like seeing how you do it. I'm thinking about doing the spreadsheet and keeping it simple. That's my problem but you make it easy! Thanks so much for sharing!❤😊❤
You’re doing so great. Something to think about with sinking funds is separating into fixed and variable. Fixed ones are larger regular one time payments/events you are saving for ( Car insurance, Christmas, dues/subscriptions, etc). For those you take the yearly amount and divide by 12 months and they always get that amount and you’re ready when the bill/event comes due. Variable sinking funds you can play with month to month depending on what is coming.
I didn’t know Barnes & noble had a subscription??? I’m gonna look into it. Also I completely feel you on the Christmas sinking fund, I usually start contributing to it in the summer but I haven’t added anything yet 😅 I’ll also be catching up on that sinking fund
Hey! Just a friendly FYI: the Ps5 pro is $700 and thats without a stand or a disc drive. If he needs those, itll be closer to $800. Prices were announced last month and they shocked everyone by how expensive its going to be. Not sure the pro is worth the money over the standard edition, but to each their own!
That’s a good idea! I probably should have started a bit earlier though. I’ll see what they want to be and what I can come up with on my own. I’m not the best with creative projects though 😅
Hi Katie, great SF update. Im nervous about xmas, im sure we dont have enough, im going to have to throw a hail mary come December to not add debt lol.
I probably need to start doing that! I don’t know how to make nice blonde, but I’m getting tired of going anyway. My natural dirty blonde might have to do 😂
My hair is also long and thick, if my cousin didn’t do hair I would never get it done. As it is, I cut and layer it myself but every few years when I want to dye it I’ll have her do it and she charges me like 150 versus the 300+ everyone else would for my length
Great allocation of sinking funds. Your Christmas savings is adding up nicely too.
Thanks, Debra!
That was another good update on your sinking funds. Every little bit adds up.
It does! Slowly but surely ☺️
I love this video. Shows your thought process. Have a great weekend.
Thank you, Dee! 😄💜
Morning Katie!! I know that you will reach your Christmas goal because you are super determined!!
Thank you, Melissa! I hope so ☺️

Thank you so much, Gladys! I just love tracking with spreadsheets ☺️
Your sinking funds are growing nicely ❤ you will be well prepared when things come up. ob. Hope you have a great day
Thank you, Eva! That’s the plan 😄
Great update. Christmas is around the corner 😊😊
Yes, it’s coming so quickly!
I was thinking about applying for credit for oral surgery. You just planted the sinking fund seed in my head.
Oh good! Definitely save up as much as you can ahead of time ☺️
You’re doing so great.

That’s a great idea! I probably need to have a set amount going into some of these that we have to pay every year, like our HOA and car insurance.
hair appointments are so expensive! i also spaced out my hair appointments as much as i could when i had platinum blonde hair in order to save money
I’m kind of getting tired of going and spending money on it 😫

Yeah, it’s a membership. I think you get 10% off all purchases, which makes up for the membership price pretty quickly for us 😅
Great saving! It’s impressive you only used 1 all month!
I know! That never happens 👀

Oh yuck! Thanks for the info! I have that it’s so much 😫
@@KatieoftheHouse no problem! And yeah, its so much more than what everyone thought. 😔 I would have picked it up myself but not for that price tag.
Great ❤ Video
Thanks 😁🥰
Great October 😊
Thanks, Cat! 🙌🏼
For Halloween you could make costumes instead of buy them. That was part of the fun of Halloween for me as a kid and for my own daughter.
That’s a good idea! I probably should have started a bit earlier though. I’ll see what they want to be and what I can come up with on my own. I’m not the best with creative projects though 😅
Great video
Thanks!😊
Hi Katie, great SF update. Im nervous about xmas, im sure we dont have enough, im going to have to throw a hail mary come December to not add debt lol.
That’s how I’m feeling, too 😅 I think all of the SF money for December will be going to Christmas for us!
I cut and dye my own hair- it’s thick and long and would cost me like $400-$500 to get it done 🤪 insane.
I probably need to start doing that! I don’t know how to make nice blonde, but I’m getting tired of going anyway. My natural dirty blonde might have to do 😂

Good morning! ❤😁
Good evening now Hailey! 💕happy Thursday!
