2:03 i mean when ur dad takes on multiple jobs just to put u on the track, you’d develop that certain kind of thinking.. losing was not an option, u always had to be at ur best
@@paulthomson9709 It's because he often coms out on top of those competitions that you have that illusion. 2014, 2015, 2016 fought against Rosberg. 2017, 2018 fought against Vettel. 2019 might be the only season no one ever came close to him.
Sounds allot like learning how to live, work and be in regular life with it's unavoidable ups and downs no matter how perfect you think you are. I think I'm just now finally at that point in my life where I've started accepting this exact thing as a challenge rather than being defeated by it. So listening to this I could very much relate. The old immature mentality was to actually fear failure and worry about putting in all that effort and having not being able to foresee random events, mistakes and just bad weather.
I can imagine how he feels after Suzuka 2019 when asked to relinquish 1st place so that his wing man can win a race. Lewis didn't have to come in for tires with ten laps to go and pitting made it impossible to win.
I finally got an interview. Not even a on-site but a phone interview. And I forgot to remind the interviewer as he told me to. Now I just wan to lie down and never get back up.
Lewis is a fantastic guy. He has the talent, the drive and above all, he gets the big picture of what racing is about and what it does to him. He keeps on growing and getting better as a human being . The only negative could be , he is unable to see anything else around him, that is not related to racing. Is he a philanthropist ? makes you wonder if he can find time to look around or does he just perform so he may win and enjoy his winnings ?
Lewis does more outside racing than most F1 drivers. There is an interview somewhere here on UA-cam, talking about why he has other outside interests not related to racing. He’s already planning about life after F1. He doesn’t want the F1 commentary job like some of the F1 drivers are doing. Sometimes it’s good to do your own research about the person before making a comment about them.

This is the clash and race Lewis meant. He got his revenge by winning the championship just ahead of Massa that same year tho 🏁 If it wasn’t for his gearbox in Interlagos 2007 he would have won that aswell. Kimi took the 1st by one point. Still bothers me. ua-cam.com/video/Nl5aMMRgTEk/v-deo.html
Graham is one of the best interviewer... He never interrupts and asks good and short questions
If i lost I would eat for days

Graham did a fantastic job with this interview! I'd like to see one with Fernando Alonso sometime too.
Skylar Polek is the full interview available?
And that's why he is a 7 time champion..at least one of the biggest reasons
What a competitive freak. A real champion is always being competitive.
He's no michael jordan though
Paul Thomson yea no shit. He’s an F1 driver. And MJ is no Hamilton either. Wtf is this comparison
@@fatmanjr7215 mj had more passion for his sport and more dedication than anybody ever , fought battles . Hamilton hardly even has any competition
Paul Thomson tf are you talking about how would you know
