Alonso drove midfield cars for over half of his career and he still endured, I doubt hamilton would've survived mclaren honda. We are fortunate to have seen a talent like lewis not being wasted by bad choices
The moment an important piece of the puzzle in the team is gone, every dominant team so far has crumbled. McLaren with Honda leaving in the 90s. Ferrari with Schumacher and Brawn leaving in 07’. RB with Renault changing management that caused Newey to become less involved with development in 14’. Now it’s Mercedes with Allison leaving that possibly caused the team to go to the wrong concept in the first place.
People have bad memories. Merc was built off of the corpse of Brawn when it was already a great team. Merc had started hybrid engine r&d for F1 as early as 09. They had poached billions in top engineers from 09-14. They had Schumacher in the seat to help guide the team alongside Lauda as a executive to help reign in Totos stupid shit. They had secret tire tests to help shore up their weakness and were never punished. They had FRIC as an advantage till others caught up then it was banned. Numerous mid season tire pressure and compound changes to benefit their tire wear. Competitiors were smacked out when they gained advantages, Ferraris 15-17 Aero and the Ferrari 19 engine were good examples of that. Could go on and on about how Toto and LH were just gifted 8 free years of wins. Now with Lauda gone and Toto fully in the reigns we see what the team is, a bunch of frauds.
@@nonegone7170it’s certainly not the exact car merc made but it uses that concept. A concept that lewis thought was bad even tho he has zero knowledge of engineering so why is he even saying anything to begin with. Dudes ego needs some checking
@@Alumnikiid It is a zero sidepod concept, they will run zeropod in japan. They simply adapt to each track. And mercedes being schooled by an energy drinks company is.... 😂😂😂😂
Lewis: “I can’t really remember winning, to be honest.” 103 wins, ranking up win year by year since 2007 and then BAM! 2 years, going on 3 of winning nothing. That line just hits different. :(
The fact that Mercedes didn't listen 7X WDC Goat Lewis Hamilton on his feedback is unbeliviable. They get cocky. Lewis might not be an engineer but his body feels where the car is wrong. He fucking beat expected maximum pole lap in Singapore '18. Simulation is one thing, real life is one thing and thats where everything matters.
It’s easy for him to be harsh to the team. The car is bad and he just kept riding that narrative. With hindsight it’s easy to say “see I was right” if he had been wrong he’d just be like “cool we are winning”
I have to say, I was so happy to see Lewis in that uncompetitive & non-winning car for the first time in his career, so he could at least understand what it felt like for the majority of drivers that enter F1. Before he became a full time F1 driver, he was also able to gain a lot of on-track experience & mileage since they didn’t cap free-practice the way it’s done now. (though they recently changed it to where you can drive a car that’s at least 2 seasons old) But all of that preparation had set him up for the most competitive season a rookie could have, since he also happened to land in the fastest car on the grid. The timing for a scenario like that to happen is so rare, you almost never see a rookie start F1 in a top 3 team, let alone a championship contending car. That’s why many say it’s luck, because the timing for that window to be open during HIS time to enter the sport doesn’t automatically happen. There’s plenty of drivers who’ve done everything right. Won everything in the junior series, then become an F2 champion but all the seats are filled.. then what? Then you wait as a reserve for a seat to become available since you’ve won everything else and proved you’re a capable & worthy driver, the next wave of talent is coming through. People aren’t talking about you, they’re talking about the current crop of talent making headlines. Those drivers in that scenario, even though they’ve achieved more than some on the grid, end up having to settle driving in another sport. That’s the other side of luck. So Hamilton for the first time in in his almost 2 decade long F1 career, was forced to experience what it’s like not winning. Not competing. Being criticized. Called slow. It took awhile, but eventually I saw him get humbled. Had to shed a little of that ego away and empathize with the others around him in the midfield, but back markers too. For the first time also you saw him taken from his comfortable perch, and placed where his vulnerability was shown because suddenly it was like he was an alien to others and had to learn how to interact with the “mid” group. Never thought I’d see him struggle to socialize with his peers & the younger generation of drivers. He looks a lot more comfortable now (end of ‘24), but yeah 2022 he was the vulnerable outsider. I think he needed that. And it’s made him an even better person who can share the same feelings most F1 drivers have gone through or only know. Truly it gives him perspective that he didn’t need or have before. So as cruel as it may sound, I’m still happy to have seen him go through that.
Tell me a rookie who could have handled the pressure of 2007 world championship like he did before moaning that he had a fast car…we have lando losing shit when this is his 6th year in f1 while Lewis had alonso as a teammate…btw alonso had more km in that car than lewis did during the testing…so stop with the propaganda
The ending is a blast. The conversation with Toto, the chemistry between them... Everything is written on their faces, and the writing is: It's done. Mercedes is a garbage this year. Again. So Hamilton was right to take his chances somewhere else.
@NavF1..yes,that's why he's looking for another seat in ferrari in the end of his circuit career..but i never feel wondered..he's still want his carreer in the future ..but Toto Wolf gives him warning👌
His sense of entitlement astounds me. The team gave him 8 world championship cars and then when he has one not so bad year he immediately starts complaining like a little girl. What a diva, ungrateful is what he is.
If I mean IF Scuderia can fulfill his wishes and demands that Mercedes failed to makes it really show that it not his performance inclined but what if is not enough.
I think Lewis knows that unless things fall apart at Red Bull severely (there is still chance of that happening considering recent events) that he is never gonna win another championship. Some races maybe, but I think the reason he went to Ferrari was because he knows its his last chance to go there and most drivers do want to drive Ferrari in their F1 career at some point.
Lewis shouldn't complain in my opinion even though Max's era is statistically the most boring in history because its the most dominant against the least competitive grid, consisting of only 2 other World Champions. I'll give him that. Lewis battled the likes of Massa, Schumacher, Raïkkonen, Alonso, Button, Vettel and multiple other World Championship drivers. His debut season and the season after he fought World Champions like Kimi in the rain. "Silver War" was one of the best rivalries. "Silver vs Red" was one of the most competitive rivalries from 17 to 19. The Bulls were faster at certain tracks in 2020 and Checo can in no way be compared to the teammates that Lewis had. Even now he picks Leclerc for next year which is insane by itself because Leclerc is arguably the next best driver behind Max, Alonso and Hamilton. We also have more races and Max would've had 19 straight wins by now if he won in Singapore. He has a 2 to 4 second lead within 6 laps and he only faces competition literally at the start of the race till the first corner.
I was fairly shredded my whole life and muscular currently mid 40s. When covid/ health issues/life hit extra hard in 2020 the fitness left; I cannot remember having an 8-pack 😂 Yes it was only 3 ish years ago, but when your whole life has a decades long pattern a 2 or 3 year disruption is like eternity
Not a fan of Hamilton but you've got to feel for him. The man is hugely talented, one of the best on the grid, but he can't make the car less dogshite.
he's literally been in a top 1-3 car his entire career... dont think anyone else has had that. Max was winning races and scoring podiums in a car that was singificantly slower than the Mercs and 2017-2018 ferrari's.
It's just so plain obvious that none of you have ever or will ever relate to the feeling of being *this* close of doing something truly remarkable despite the fact that you got bullied off track all season long and then that same bully gets gifted the title in the last lap of the race. So yea, I don't blame you, you still make a fool out of yourself tho.
Well if only he didn’t press onto that brake magic button in Baku in 2021,, then the last lap at Abu doesn’t matter, Because Max got zero points that day and had Lewis finished even p2 he wins,, it’s the accumulation of a season so many people always look at that last lap of Abu which I’ve never had a problem with,, it would of been a shame had that season finished under safety car…
I dont like lewis at all but damn this is sad. He is a top notch driver who is super consistent and makes minimal mistake. He is the guy u can trust to deliver when given the right machinery but damn watching him say " these are precious years for me" is sad. Started watching f1 during the start of Mercedes dominance era and i never thought i would see lewis in a state like this
I’d love to see him win with Ferrari. I used to support anyone but Hamilton because I was tired of his dominance, but the Max era has really lacked drama.

It's pretty obvious because the man never had to sit in a midfield or backmarker car. Never.
he know th redbull 4 year domination of seb
yet he still was able to fight and win at LEAST a race during that era
@@sajeucettefoistunevaspasme because RB was only dominant for 1.5 seasons. That era was far more competitive than any other era you can think of.
@@sandalphoncpuRecency bias. It really wasn't that competitive.
The W14 was such a great looking car
@@Swad-cf8nclot of this seems like conjecture
@@Swad-cf8nclol a lot of bs coming from you 😂😂any chance you are a red bull fan
Not just Allison. Mercedes has lost tons of key personnel over recent years.
I dare say Aldo Costa leaving was more detrimental

RB20 is not a 'zeropod' concept car by any means, only if you're half blind & only watch on sundays

@lw1878 why would I care if he knows me lol. What a weird attempt at an insult.
"Well, who says that?" Bro literally refused to give Lewis a contract extension longer than two years, just so he could bring Antonelli into the fold.
I need to take back the championship that was taken from me.

What about give back the championship that was taken from Massa? 😅
And leaves immediately since he got no groove

Great timing icl

Lewis: “I can’t really remember winning, to be honest.”
103 wins, ranking up win year by year since 2007 and then BAM! 2 years, going on 3 of winning nothing. That line just hits different. :(
makes me happy :)
@@quigglyz imagine caring this much.
Merc. Cant’ buy championships anymore.
Please give this guy a McLaren Honda! 😂
If mercedes listned to lewis in the 23 season, the car this year might have been one of the top 3 cars on the grid.
(though they recently changed it to where you can drive a car that’s at least 2 seasons old)
But all of that preparation had set him up for the most competitive season a rookie could have, since he also happened to land in the fastest car on the grid.
The timing for a scenario like that to happen is so rare, you almost never see a rookie start F1 in a top 3 team, let alone a championship contending car.
That’s why many say it’s luck, because the timing for that window to be open during
HIS time to enter the sport doesn’t automatically happen.
He’s still wildly humble considering he went from all-time machinery to upper midfield, he has the patience of a saint
There is nothing humble about this hypocrite who yaps about climate change and stop oil, only to be in a speed boat and fly a private jet.
"When the car is terrible, I feel helpless"
You better start praying that Ferrari would miraculously fix their car next year, Lewis
checking.....still checking
@NavF1..yes,that's why he's looking for another seat in ferrari in the end of his circuit career..but i never feel wondered..he's still want his carreer in the future ..but Toto Wolf gives him warning👌
I thought his team "Doesn't Make Mistakes".😂
The unnecessary hate that he receives reminds me of the hate that Bubba (Wallace) gets in NASCAR, and we all know the main reason for it.
Im not TeamLH, but i would love to see Lewis get his 8th title. All our hope is on Fred now.
Toto: Found you’re lack of faith disturbing
His sense of entitlement astounds me. The team gave him 8 world championship cars and then when he has one not so bad year he immediately starts complaining like a little girl. What a diva, ungrateful is what he is.
Its always the teams fault. classic hamilton
Bro got McLaren flashbacks
bro have 7 world champion and bro says that not enough
might be difficult to digest....lewis era is gone...he's past his prime...will have to retire in a year or two
If I mean IF Scuderia can fulfill his wishes and demands that Mercedes failed to makes it really show that it not his performance inclined but what if is not enough.
When lewis almost crushed onto Alonso, Alonso saying he can only drive from pole position
Newey made the care concept work :p
Toto : The concept of the car is never gonna work!
Newey : Hold my RedBull for a sec....
What the hell is that green SpongeBob?
looking back after he's now won twice and actually COULD win his 8th with a bit of luck is a bit surreal
but he says he never gives up
He should ask alonso 😂
Now red bull are dominating 2024 with the Mercedes concept 😂
And bro decided to go to Ferrari like that will change things.

George hasn’t had a terrible time in the car.
And then redbull kinda put merc in the dust with a zero-ish pod design
Anyone know the music at 2:17?
Bro says he doesn’t remember winning like 2020 & Saudi 2021 wasn’t long ago
Saudi 2021 is 2 years, gonna be 3 years this year. Thats a long time but it doesnt feel like it.
I was fairly shredded my whole life and muscular currently mid 40s. When covid/ health issues/life hit extra hard in 2020 the fitness left; I cannot remember having an 8-pack 😂
Yes it was only 3 ish years ago, but when your whole life has a decades long pattern a 2 or 3 year disruption is like eternity
Do we have any footage of Lewis Hamilton not losing faith in Mercedes in DTS season 6?
Not a fan of Hamilton but you've got to feel for him. The man is hugely talented, one of the best on the grid, but he can't make the car less dogshite.
Nice to see it's not just team LH but the man himself that still can't get over Abu Dhabi 2021 😂
he's literally been in a top 1-3 car his entire career... dont think anyone else has had that.
Max was winning races and scoring podiums in a car that was singificantly slower than the Mercs and 2017-2018 ferrari's.
Makes sense they stole the title. Then told him yea we did it lol cant change it now.
Yeah hes a bitter sour loser
Well if only he didn’t press onto that brake magic button in Baku in 2021,, then the last lap at Abu doesn’t matter, Because Max got zero points that day and had Lewis finished even p2 he wins,, it’s the accumulation of a season so many people always look at that last lap of Abu which I’ve never had a problem with,, it would of been a shame had that season finished under safety car…
Anyone seen Hamilton racing during the start of this F1 season in Bahrain
I dont like lewis at all but damn this is sad. He is a top notch driver who is super consistent and makes minimal mistake. He is the guy u can trust to deliver when given the right machinery but damn watching him say " these are precious years for me" is sad. “I don’t remember what winning feels like.”
Neither did the rest of the grid during 2014-2020
atleast the other driver still winning..now it's only max and perez or any other driver unless max is out of race of car issues
We Know what We are Doing! You are Wrong , Lewis…… No One Ever Said!!! Holy Hell!!
I’d love to see him win with Ferrari. I used to support anyone but Hamilton because I was tired of his dominance, but the Max era has really lacked drama.
“When car is terrible” LMAO it’s a perfect midfield car. Slightly better in fact. How is George Russel doing decently well. Hamilton want the hybrid engine dominance back.

He wont win shit ever again. His time is over
Lewis is gonna cry with his 500 million dollars
why netflix try to do that fake shit...he never wanted to go to Aston Martin
Lewis Getting some Rude awakening when teams get the concept wrong... he got spoiled for sure with the Mercedes Domination Era...
Good on him for leaving, he gave Mercedes two whole years to build a better car and now they are going into year 3 with zero progress.
