This game is going to go down to the wire. The packs are matched and the backs of each team have their own pros and cons. The two key players for England are Earl and Stewart. Earl is very quick and explosive for a loose forward and Stewart is very effective at retrieving the high ball from opposition kicks. It will be interesting to see how the Boks manage these two threats.
Just finished watching the slaughter of the Argentinians. I got so depressed that I did some stats. Did you know that this year's World Cup squad is representing 30 different schools across South Africa. The only schools that had more than one player is Paul Roos (3), Paarl Gym (2) and Tygerberg (2). As far as I could tell each of the 9 provinces were represented. How is that for diversity? Well done Rassie and the team for finding all of our stars.
Everybody who questions the outcome of this match need to watch the highlights of the quater finals and make up their own minds. England was very slow against Fiji and the boks game was super intense and world class 🇿🇦 They will have to really dig deep to give us a good challenge. But you know, miracles do sometime happen…
