I got one for free thanks to amazon (ordered one, than canceled order and ordered a ecovacs t9+ instead and got my money back + vacuum send anyway) and i can tell you: the lydsto r1 is a lot, but its not the best vacuum. not even close. The software is very rudimentary and non sophisticated. You need to prepare your rooms for it. This is totally fine because pricewise its unbeatable, but compared to a... lets say ecovacs t9+ this thing cannot compete at all... not even close. Still a nice vacuum for the money. Probably best value ever (even if you dont get it for free)
It does not have a camera or a mic. It uses a lidar scanner as I mentioned in the video. However , the phone you used to type that comment does have a multiple cameras and mic 🤣
@@sakitech 😂 you got me there apple is watching me 😂 welp I’m marked with the beast anyway my mom made me get the dang vaccine so I might grow another leg 😂
A bit off topic question for you saki. I review tech as well on my other account, but I'm just getting started. When companies reach out to you for product reviews like this, did they usually reach out to you through UA-cam, Amazon, or is it another program that most tech reviewers are a part of? I feel like being able to do product reviews like this would help my situation a lot. Thanks man, enjoy your content
I've been thinking about getting a robot vacuum, especially since the cost is only a fraction of what it was a few years ago. Do you know if it saves the floor plan map it creates or does it make a new map every time? I have 3 floors in my house so if it runs from the same map it first creates, then I would need 3 robots. If it can store 3 plans then I can just move it to different floors as needed. Do you know if it can store 3 different floor plans in its memory? Thanks for the great video Saki 😁
Thats a large house. I think I'd probably get one for each floor regardless because one of the benefits of these are to schedule them when you aren't home (Can't speak to all of them but I think not having to be there is a huge benefit of a robot vacuum)
@@NoThankUBeQuiet thanks for the advice. Maybe I should hold off on getting one until someone invents one that can climb stairs 😝. I didn't even think about the schedule, that's a really good point.
Yes, it does save the map which can be reused even when you are not at home via the app. It doesn't need to create a new map unless it is constantly relocated.

I thought we got away from bag vacuums. Do people want to go back to that?
I like bags no dust in the air when dumping without a bag and no spilling .

What is this.UFO.
This robot vacuum looks just like the roborock s7 which is better? @Sakitech
the roborock, but only slightly because it has better algorythm and better mopping functions. It also has better quality bearings and motor.
