For me personally number 1 reason I'm upgrading from s9ultra to 10ultra is antireflective screen, it's awesome on 24ultra, and I got 800$ for trading in plus 60$ student discount plus 200$ free keyboard, 350$ out of a pocket, will sell keyboard on eBay maybe for 100$, for those who have s9ultra to trade in I think it's worth it

@Jakikikan, do you want a bigger screen? Is your s7 fe running all the apps you need? Is it running slow ? Then the answer is yes, but if your s7fe is running fine, then I would say no. Only if you really want a bigger screen then probably a yes then.

Redmagic is coming out with their own tab with snap dragon gen 3 next month.... bit more powerful than this one.... only downside to it..... it has a weaker screen
4 isn't even out yet.. The 3 was possible but didn't happen.. I think the SD X was also possible but too expensive... I really wanted the X though I would have paid money too..

If you have the S9 you can just go to customize keyboard and assign the AI button to a shortcut button so command plus whatever u want. I just did this on my S9 plus

If you're considering upgrading the SO, you probably won't wait 7 years to upgrade the S10.

Updates aren't important for tablets or phones. I had tablets and phones that were over 10 years old (updates stopped a long time ago). I never noticed any difference in features or performance for each update anyway.
So 4 years vs 7 years is irrelevant. Plus most people (on average) upgrade every 3-4 years anyway due to battery life issues.
Same things every year i advice people who is bought s8 ultra or 9 ultra dont buy this s10 ultra its no different just its new
I don't think tech now was never meant to switch over to the next generation for little improvement. Or an major upgrade from the previous generation of last year tech. It's supposed to buy it if you have an outdated tech and you want something new at that time. For example, I bought the Samsung 10.1 tab A in the year 2019. Last year, I wanted a bigger screen, so I got the s8 ultra tab , which was big and an upgrade improvement from my previous tablet. I think tech has so much better technology inside of it, memory, storage , processer, etc. compared a decade ago where you need to upgrade to the next generation but not anymore. S9 series will fade out like the s8 series, etc. So in the next couple of years, it will be s11 and s12 and so on. Is to buy it now if you have an outdated tech at that time you need it. But if you don't, then don't buy it. So I,m keeping my s8 ultra tab probably won't upgrade until the s12 or s13 ultra tab then I will see an upgrade or major improvements over the s8 ultra tab. I wait until several generations to see a difference. That's my 2 cents. Lol. Ps. I'm watching this on my s8 ultra tab.
True. Even I bought a Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra for 1000$ after I found out the S10 series would be equipped with a Mediatek processor.
@RoyalRajan-r1l I think the s9 ultra will become cheaper by black friday because they want to get rid of it in inventory, so they can sell the s10 ultra. That's what happened last year with s8 ultra , it went way down to $699. That's why I got it instead of the s9 ultra at that time.

I just bought the 512 GB S9 ultra for around USD600, coming from a S7+. Of everything I've seen so far, the only thing worth to mention of the new one is the anti reflective coating on the screen (which is great on my S24 Ultra). Considering my S7+ is still quite serviceable (really, its only downside is the EOL lack of updates), my next tab upgrade will be after it's last security update comes.
Edit: Hopefully the new cover keyboard is compatible with the S9, as is almost impossible to find one right now. Looks like samsung decided to hide all of them.

@@jd2161 As an S9 Ultra user, you're just straight wrong. Don't be a fanboy. Performance wise the new iPad completely destroys Samsungs tablets and more creative apps are supported, whereas with Samsung tablets they have thinner bezels and are better to watch content due to the aspect ratio. But for real work, iPads are still supreme.
Besides, Samsung could always do better upgrades. Faster charging, battery, trying to remove the notch etc. But they don't do that since they're as lazy as Apple is. You have to hold every company accountable

Depends, are you a Mac user or iPhone, get an m4 , if you're a Windows user or an android phone user gets s9 ultra or s10 ultra.
It depends on your needs. For casual needs they will both do well. If it's to watch Netflix and stuff, the Galaxy Tab S10 ultra is better. For creative needs like video editing and stuff the M4 iPad pro will be the better one. For drawing you'll be fine for both. Although the difference in performance in the M1 to M4 is huge, but there is not many apps that take advantage of it so the M1 could perform just as well.
It all comes down to your needs.

However, what I don't like about m4 (13inch) is the huge black border when watching unless u'd zoom in which kinda crops the movie/ vid

On the Samsung Shop site, It is showing I can get an $800 trade in for my older S9 Ultra, plus another $40 for the military discount. That is for the 12 GB RAM and 256 GB memory, so I could upgade to the new S10 ultra for $359.99 plus tax and shipping is free. Or there is the second option of 12GB RAM with 512 GB memory for $467.99. The third option is the the 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage for $737.99. I don't think the 2nd or 3rd option are really necessary. So if one is on the fence this could be a good deal.

If you have an S9 Ultra, literally no reason to upgrade. If you were coming from an S8 Ultra and they offered $800, then I can see that being compelling.
@sakitech Are you able to adjust the resolution size on the display settings? When I got my S9 Ultra I was bummed I couldn't change the resolution on the tablet, wondering if they put it back to the S10 or still not available.
S8 to S10 is highly recommended particularly due to the waterproofing jump imo. Also if you want to buy a good quality used S8 just for tradein value, you get to keep your SPen

Here In India 🇮🇳 on BBD sale offer Tab s9+ is available for around 42000 Rupees Roughly 470 Dollers
And S9 11iches one is available at 32000 rupees Roughly 380 Dollers .. as ultra varient more or less is same so will try to buy s9+

If Samsung can't upgrade the processor with a beefy laptop grade one, like Apple does with their iPad pros, then i don't really see the point in buying such expensive tablets. We need full apps like video/photo editiing apps, console games, etc., otherwise it's just a phone with a big screen. I enjoy my Tab s9 Ultra very much and won't be upgrading it for the next couple of years but I really do wish that tablets willl start to become more like laptops instead of phones

I knew there's gonna be a dumb@ss that says this. The M series chip on tablets are basically as strong as an android phone's cpu because the chip's energy usage is limited to prevent it from heating up

I have S9 Ultra 5G 1TB/16GB. But for S10 there is only 256GB with 5G in my region, or 1TB only WiFi... Samsung made this decision esaier to me...

@@roderickphoenix4812 I often used it out of me home, so 5G connection is obligatorily for me. Last year for S9 Ultra all memory variants had 5G, bot for S10 only 256GB, and compering to local prices you got double storage 5G for same price of S10...

All that shade they were throwing at apple for having a notch. And yet they are still rocking that ugly ass notch on the tablet come on guys can we get rid of the ugly notch plz it's the only thing stopping me from buying the tablet I think it's 10 times worse on a tablet then it is on a phone

Easily my biggest tech disappointment of 2024.. Not only do we not get a tandum OLED.... It's also basically the same exact screen just with a antiglare coating.. Then to add insult to injury not only do we not get newest snapdragon like usual we don't get snapdragon at all. Now I know why they silent launched this product instead of giving it a proper launch....
Samsung made such a huge mistake with dimensity and stuff. At this point it's just better to get used s9 ultra or if you willing to pay original price for a new s10 ultra just get an ipad pro for the same price almost (if you want a pen)

And I noticed one major difference about the screen it became dimmer in the Tab S10 Ultra with no change in the brightness of the screen 970 nits and that is a flaw I think.

There's a few problems on the S10 Ultra display , it flashing a lot , like at the 04:52 and at the end of the video . And It's color tuning is way too dark in order to bring out more contrast , this made the detail of darker objects degraded , disappointing approach of color tone .💔
imho the 7 year os update for the s10 ultra should be listed as an upgrade compared to the s9 ultra.
Just imagine how much faster you could watch Netflix with this.

Howdy! Can you help clarify what the fastest SD card the 10 ultra supports? I don't want to waste my money on an SD card speed it doesn't support but I can't find that data on their site!
I have an S9 Ultra that I bought from Amazon. The reason I'm upgrading is because the tablet's bootloader and its location is both locked and locked to South America, while I'm in the US.
I’ve been using my Tab 8+ 16GB ram with my Galaxy Book 3 Ultra 32gb ram Windows Pro as a second screen but mostly as a mirroring screen to edit photos using windows editing photo programs (Topaz Photo AI and Video AI for example)with the use of the Tabs S-pen. But I’m now thinking of getting this 10 Ultra 16gb ram 1Tb for a better experience. I wouldn’t be surprised though if next year they come out with a vastly superior Tab to the 10 and the similar 9:) History seems to say.
Love my Tab S9 Ultra. I bought it with the intention of not needing to upgrade for a few years. It stays on my nightstand so battery and anti-reflective properties don't really matter to me 🤷♂️

It's for new buyer or people who had very older Tablet. You're not supposed to change every year. I use an IPad Pro 2020. Still going strong. See no reason to switch to the new M4 IPad Pro.
For an update this is a really lazy change, we have had the same screen now for 3 gens , the same spec out , for me the Matt finish is a big turnoff, but processor is a great move I love this chip but I would have like to see faster usbc to gen 4 thunderbolt for-linking in thr field to download direct from red cameras etc , and would have liked to see a physical fingerprint sensor in the power button for transactions etc with a ubkey gen 4
S8 to S9 screen is slightly different... Not much but they upped the brightness by like 100 nits ( advertised difference as 500vs 930nits) but the S8U can actually hit like 830 .. and added 120hz "dynamic " refresh rate vs non dynamic 120hz .... but yeah this year exact same screen..

Anti glare screen coatings usually come with drawbacks... I saw other review video where the screen appears a bit more grainy and colors look a bit less vivid.. It's not big difference but for an "upgrade" it's not great...

that fugly notch is still bothering me 😮💨
You can't see it if you're watching a tv show or a movie because the black bars will hide the notch. I have the s8 ultra you get used to it and don't even notice the notch. If you don't want the notch get a s10 plus.
