I have a sililar RV and have to replace the house battery since it does not have enough juice to start the generator. This is very helpful. Good job.

Thank you so much. I just bought an RV with a battery compartment like this and I couldn't figure out how to get that battery out to save my life. 😅

Thank you so much for this! I have been trying to figure out how this battery is clamped in, but I cannot tell until the battery's out. There is hardly any clearance to see down to the bottom to figure it out. This was really helpful!

I am sure a smart person like you can do it. It will be way easier with an extension for the socket like I showed in the video. It speeds up the process significantly.

@@thebestfamilyoutdoorshow and it was easy. Walmart put in the group 65 agm battery for the engine and i put in an identical agm for the coach battery tray. There was room for a bigger coach battery but my guess would be maybe two six volt golf cart batteries. Nah , agm for now . Lithium down the road sometime

@stanleythomas8457 I have been doing okay with just one 12v battery. Furnace last enough for a winter's night on one battery.
Been thinking a lot about an AGM battery like yours. I think it's the cold here in Alberta that murders it. Would love to see how long it lasts.
Lithium would be wicked. Just cost a lot lol. But the best probably if money was not a factor for sure.
      Just some of my exp:
I used to do 2x 6v batteries. Just cost a bit too much to maintain and are larger/heavier to work with. For whatever reason they would die equally as soon as the normal 12v batteries I got from Costco/Walmart for under 200 dollars a piece approx. Solar panel and no solar not much diff. At about 2 years, they would not hold a strong charge. Maybe 50 percent original capacity.
It could be because I suck at maintaining batteries. But I have put some effort and no luck.
Most of my camping has power so it really doesn't make much difference for me.
In the summer 1x 12v battery can go days. That is usually enough. Plus if you drive the RV it will charge it back up.
About every 2 years I buy a new battery. That has been the sweet spot for me in terms of price, hassle free, easiest solution.. Just wanted to tell you my exp. Lots of places offer up to 48 months warranty.

Hi great video 👍 may I ask if 2nd and or 3rd battery 🔋 is marine RV deep cycle battery and different from main starter engine group size 65 lead acid battery ? Thanks 🙏

Hello, it is a different battery than the main engine battery. You can choose any Marine/RV deep cycle battery. If you don't need too much shore power you can get by with one auxiliary battery. I like to use Group Size 24 Deep Cycle Batteries because they are cheap, decently light, and can easily get you through a night. Something like this - www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/motomaster-nautilus-group-size-24-deep-cycle-battery-0102492p.html

What size is your engine battery if you dont mind me asking? mines aren't holding enough power I'm not sure if my sizing in voltage is right to sustain the power in the engine department .

@@thebestfamilyoutdoorshow Sorry for late reply. Thank you for great info and vlogs. My main starter front engine battery is size 65. I have also 2 other batteries under Ford E450 coach shuttle bus bed. I am unsure if those are supposed to be size 65 or deep cycle size 24. I installed two (2) size 65 batteries from Walmart. Seems to work, but now i am thinking maybe those 2 should be deep cycle size 24 as shown in your videos. Its a 1999 Ford e450 shuttle bus so the manual does not specify battery size for underneath. Thank you again for all your videosand continued blessing.
