overreaction seems to be the standard training for officers. They start out treating you like a criminal and it gets worse from there. I've had crap like this in the metro area just on a speeding stop.
He violated a traffic law designed to keep first responders and highway workers safe. He was contacted by police regarding that. His disregard for those officers safety was obvious with his obnoxious smart mouth comment “but did i have my blinker on?” To that, the police more than likely have his information on the mdc which shows probation for a weapons violation in the past. The individual is acting erratically and not following simple commands, while talking back escalating the situation. Reaching and fidgeting with a history of carrying a weapon is more than enough reason to justify the reaction of the officers. He is lucky he was not shot. Kudos to the officers for detaining him and ensuring their safety. This individual will get no where with his lawsuit and scenarios like this will play out over and over again till people realize there are still consequences for their actions. Obey they law. Obey the officers and you wont get drug out of your car and have your smart mouth slammed onto the asphalt.
This so-called "Officer" was trying to set up a "Lawful" shooting scenario. By yelling "STOP REACHING (which is NOT illegal when reaching for a wallet) the cop was trying to make it sound like the driver was reaching for a weapon. This is so that if he did shoot the man, he could then say "I thought he was reaching for a weapon". This seems to be standard training for police officers. CMA "Cover My Ass" is prevalent. Too prevalent these days.

Nah. He tried to run, was salty because he was in the wrong, and repeated the same sentence over and over again like a blabbing idiot. Black or white, this dude was a class A fool.

I continually fail to not understand why people don't simply follow police instructions. Every time I've been stopped, I have followed instructions and everything has always gone smoothly, no issues, no problems. It seems that we have a society today where everyone thinks they have the right to do anything and everything they want. The only rule to be followed is: "I have the right to do anything I want to and you have no authority over me.
You can hear it right on the video, the guy is drunk! You can hear the girl with him trying to get him comply with officers. Driving black isn't the problem drive drunk is! The officers did their job and even de-escalated the situation instead of just shooting him for looking like he was reaching for a weapon.
NO, he doesn't sound drunk. It sounds like excessive abusive of power on the cops end. They were going to tow the car because of him driving with the hazzard lights on. People do that everyday to get somewhere with a vehicle that stopped running properly.
@@SsSs-SsSs-SsSs as far as i understood from the video, he didn't just have the hazard light on, he turned his blinker on and moved his car into the officer's lane who had his police lights on. Everyone should know, it is the law and it is also common sense, that when an ambulance, fire truck or police car has it's lights on, you have to pull to the side, slown down and even stop to make them a free passage. Why is it so hard to understand!? So first, this guy endangered the cop with this manouver. If the cop was on a mission, he is stopping the cop from it, so going against the law. Second, he might be having a gun in his pants and might be reaching for it. Why doesn't he just stay calm and cooperate with the officer??
@@SsSs-SsSs-SsSs If he stayed calm and cooperated, even after the dangerous maneuver on the road, he would have probably gotten a ticket and that's it. But after being pulled over, he clearly made it look dangerous for the officer.

The police officer needs to be put under the jail.
