I researched this on the net before I commented and you are correct. There is no such law and emily did make a mistake. I only feel off due to the cancel culture here. I'm Native American and my grandfather fought in 5 major wars and survived. WW2, Vietnam War, Korean War, Cold War and the contra War. And eventhough he was drafted during world War II he I was worth it. The amount of humility I felt was overwhelming. Hell, I told my grandfather I was always picked last for every sport I play. I have lived outside the US for almost two decades. When you get outside the US you see a whole new reality and appreciate the US better. Maybe we need to require service outside the US for our young people. Best would be that you either go someplace your family immigrated (or were brought from in the case of slaves) from; or a country of need.
I think we would be more able to advance if we appreciated how far we have come instead of focusing seemingly ONLY on the negative.

I am a Kenyan woman and I have voted since I was of age. In all the elections I have participated in Pregnant women, women with small children, the elderly and persons living with disablities are given priority in the voting queues. Kenya is not the draconian, banana bush country you think it is! We have laws and decorum best of all we have respect for our society and its members.

Imagine, the people that have gained the most from the USA, riches and fame that most people will never achieve, are the ones that belittle the country that gave them everything. Its like rich people that tells the poor that money makes you unhappy.
It simply amazes me. Most celebrities work hard for a short time to attain a status that benefits their lives and the lives of their families. They have attained a level of success granted by the systems this country granted them. But they are not thankful for the systems that benefitted them. Instead they demonize it. A person could conclude they either have lost all touch with struggling people, or they really don't want any of those lesser people to rise up.
Pride always comes before the fall. Think about it. I agree with you hope you had a wonderful 4th of july.
