Both my wife and I have heart problems. My wife had quadruple bypass surgery and I have three stents in my heart. But through it all, God was with us. I remember my wife's surgery. They had a small room for the family to wait in and someone in the operating room would call periodically and let us know how things were going. The first call was to inform us that she was on the bypass machine. It took a couple of minutes after the call before it dawned on me that that meant they had stopped her heart. Not since we lost our daughter have I prayed so hard, because I had heard of rare instances when they could not get the heart to beat when they came off the bypass machine. Over an hour later, the call came. The surgery was over, and her heart was beating normally. Our pastor and friend was with me and I just hugged him, and he offered a prayer of thanksgiving. I came to Jesus late in life, but better late than never!

Jimmy Fortune, you have blessed me with your music as well as millions of others. God has a purpose for everything, with His unfailing love that sent us Jesus Christ and with acceptance of Him, we received His Grace and a free pardon of our sin. I am thankful for God’s love that Grace, as well as the touch you received from Him. God bless you my friend and I pray we’ll be blessed by your music in praise of Him, for many more years. I have tickets to see your friends, the Issac’s at Renfro Valley in a couple of weeks. I hope one day soon, I’ll see you in concert at the New Barn!
I can really relate to his story kinda same thing happened to my husband. He told me he felt like he was standing by a railroad track checked his heat rate it was 160 went to primary care doctor the next day straight to the hospital open heart surgery quadruple three months later he had Covid and also is a diabetic. But God is good all the time. That happened 3 years ago May 4 surgery May 12 and we live in a little town in middle Georgia Jesus is faithful. He will pull you through whatever you are facing. Almost lost😢 a son in the line of duty then both sons went through cancer. And a lot of other stuff. God has always been there by our side.
Just as John 3 reminds us "Ye Must Be Born Again" it is so refreshing, comforting and assuring to hear Jimmy's story of a specific time and place where he was born again through The Word of God! Jimmy is a real treasure in this life and knowing he is saved through such a clear testimony we rejoice beyond measure that he is a child of The Living God.

Jimmy is an Awesome gentleman. He was telling us this story in Shipshewanna IN. Ben and Jimmy were sitting at a table right next to us! This group Brothers of the Heart is AWESOME and VERY HUMBLE! Jimmys story was amazing. I was in such aww I didn’t know how to answer him other paring the Lord for him! If you have not heard brothers of the Heart in person you better go! It’s worth every penny! God Bless You Jimmy and the rest of the group! Keep the faith and run that race that God has set before you! Love you guys!!!

Thank you for sharing, “I got you.” And how that impacted your life. During my cancer treatment I had a similar, reoccurring, dream where I was told, “Just stay close.” That line has opened the door to telling so many about Jesus. … Really… Thanks for sharing.

I'm praying for you for your continued health. We need your voice out there. I too have had heart issues, though at 80 years old, was concerned for surviving open heart surgery. With much prayer I opted for stints, received four and am facing possible artery repair in neck. Ive had at least 3 heart attacks during all this and one severe stroke. So going through another surgery isn't fun to think about. But with God's grace I'll make it, but if not, I know He will take care of that too.

My brother died of a massive heart attack. His autopsy showed he was 99% blocked. Came out of the blue, or if he had symptoms he never shared. 😢

So, what were the symptoms he was having?
I’m praying for you my dear brother I appreciate more than you can do if there’s anybody in this life I’d like to meet and chat with and play guitar with and sing I’d be you I met Rory a couple weeks ago and shook his hand which was a answer to prayer you bless my heart my dad made 8 albums or so traveled and sang in churches he wasn’t famous just wanted to serve God he had worked for Eastern Airlines so he could just go most anywhere so small churches could have him I’d send you a copy of one of his albums if you’d like . Like my dad I’m a guy that loves people and want to please Jesus and be with other Christians I consider you your brother in Christ I know you can’t be friends with everybody out here in cyber space but I’d give most anything if I could meet you etc
And I also know that there’s probably A 1000 % chance that you won’t even read this but I guess if it’s Gods will maybe it will in Christ dear Brother
