You probably punctured it one of the times you dropped the rocks either that or you stepped on a piece of rock when you were setting up the rock structure and poked a small hole in it. Also have to make sure there is nothing on the ground where you set it up. That much water weights a lot and doesn't take much to get a hole.
More like stop getting kiddy pools and calling them ponds. And yes it is from the rocks falling over. This is why you ALWAYS use the proper amount of sand in the bottom of your ponds even if they are fiberglass.
New drinking game for this episode. Everytime fish guy Chris says the word tall everyone has to take a shot lmao 🤣. See who can even walk at the end of the video but hey I think that pond is really tall 😂.
Like other people said, Put padding under the pond first, use thread seal on all pipe fittings, and put padding under the rocks wherever you put them also glue the rocks together
I think an old dock pylon surrounded by rock in the middle would look cool for that tall pond. If you could find some old wood to simulate a dock pylon and some old rope that would work. But whatever, the rock structure looks good if it would stay standing.
You should add the baby needle fish with the other ones in the outside pond. He would be great out there! 😊 Use Flex Seal on the bottom to fix the leak. They have clear so you won't be able to see it.
Yeah, never thought of that. You must be a genius. Of course that wont protect it from taking a sharp 10 pound rock and slamming it onto the bottom of it.
Chris love watching your videos if you can find the Halle and you can get a bike puncher kit to patch the hole or check that plug on the bottom of the pool I reckon it could be the plug at the bottom of the pool and my name is chris well, anyway, check the plug at the bottom of the pool it could be leaking from there if not just read return it from where you got it from. Oh, you can get a Blake puncher kit but I would be just returning it to the shop that I got it from
I'd say it was the rocks falling over making the hole, think you need to invest in some glue..... Ever heard the saying.... a bad workman always blames their tools...... think that seems about right in this situation lol
A pond the exact same size and shape but with a window that goes all the way around would be awesome. It would also be the perfect center piece of the fish guy warehouse
You should’ve put something on the bottom of it before putting the rocking must punched when the rock fell over Everything is a learning curve. You learn from your mistakes. Just bad luck should be able to repair it as you can buy repair kits online. Just have to make sure it’s reef safe Fish friendly and not for a swimming pool.👍🏻
I have two unrelated ideas for ponds and / or tanks for you, Chris. It be rather inexpensive for you too. Make a Lionfish pond / tank with least 5 to 10 Lionfish YOU catch and / or a Pufferfish pond / tank with least 5 to 10 Pufferfish YOU catch.
Yo Chris u should hit up marko and have em do a ocean painting all over your garage walls then behind ur big pond u should have em paint a wrecked pirate ship with fish sharks and barracuda’s swimming around it then in the middle of the wrecked pirate ship there should be a hole and in the hole u should have em paint y’all’s fish guy logo and have it say the fish guys fish cave 😳🔥with bubbles going around it that spell subscribe and y’all’s channel 😳🔥then on the other side where y’all’s other pond goes u could have em paint a octopus holding a open chest with y’all’s merch inside come on Chris the fish guys need a fish guy painting not normal boring walls 😳🔥
I saw the water leak at 14:40 to 14:43. It was dripping from the valve threads at the bottom. hopefully that was the only leak and the pond has no holes.
Love your videos but think this ,what looks like a temu pond ,was not worth the buy…..throw it away!!Waiting for the real glass view ponds you have mentioned that were the ones to come next for the garage.
I would see if the insulation blanket goes or would fit underneath, between the floor and the pond. It could help avoid punctures, help control temp fluctuations. Or not.... just a thought!
You can make a circle Use glass from your previous Projects silicone glue to Glue the glass together you metal to make a roof you can use stuff to support it
Chris why don’t you make a small feeder pond for you to have a bunch of Minos and all feeder’s your fish eat and you live feed them as they over populate but keep getting some as you see the progress
You worked so hard to keep your hair and now you want to buzz it all off.....? Pond : Find the leak and fix it. Try to glue the rocks together like you did for the big pond then they won't fall over anymore. I'd stick to schooling fish until the leak and rocks are figured out. If in the end you don't like this pond just keep it off in a corner with feeder fish for real rainy days that you can't really go out to catch a small school is my suggestion
just buy a big acrylic cylinder instead of that plastic one.. one you'll be able to see the fish at all times and you know it won't have a pin size hole in it..
Weird tanks n pond would be funny as hell especially with some or no destructions I mean instructions roflmao u just realized no instructions included I called that one lol

Prob rocks falling over who knows how many times, buy glue not more ponds
That's exactly what I was going to say. I went to comment and you beat me to it!!!! 😊😊
This was my thought also.
That’s what I thought as well
More like stop getting kiddy pools and calling them ponds.
And yes it is from the rocks falling over. This is why you ALWAYS use the proper amount of sand in the bottom of your ponds even if they are fiberglass.
When you knocked over the rocks I thought to myself for sure you're going to have a leak
Use the blanket it comes with to put under pond and use epoxy to make sure rocks don’t fall
Just check the shed you guys should have 30 of them by now unless you're just throwing them away afterwards
“Liked” for the buzz cut! 🤣👍🏽 def wanna see that

Your gonna make ppl drink till they get alcohol poisoning! TAAaaaaaLLLlllllll
🤣🤣🤣
The new pond would make a great cold plunge pool!
nah he should use it as a bait pond
@leoshears6222 another good idea.
Like other people said, Put padding under the pond first, use thread seal on all pipe fittings, and put padding under the rocks wherever you put them also glue the rocks together

Think the Mat goes under to protect it a bit
Yeah, never thought of that. You must be a genius. Of course that wont protect it from taking a sharp 10 pound rock and slamming it onto the bottom of it.

It needs a window, my personal opinion is you will regret not having one and it adds so much more
Use a patch on flex tape 👌🏼
Have you tried caribsea rocks and sand in your ponds?
What if you set up that pond outside by the dock and use it as a bait well and try to naturally cycle it with the water in the canal since it leaks
Do it, Chris! Just shave it all off, you'll be so happy with not having to worrying about taking care of your hair and styling it.
A pond the exact same size and shape but with a window that goes all the way around would be awesome. It would also be the perfect center piece of the fish guy warehouse

This pond woulda made a sick ciclid pond.

Lol
That pond actually would be really nice for young fly river turtle.
The rocks falling over might have caused it to leak
Your humor is on point, always puts a smile on my face!
Put some sand or gravel in that pond! Will keep it grounded I would think???
SHAVE IT YO ! ! ! Time for an adult haircut.
Isn't the felt supposed to go under the pond to protect the bottom from sharp objects? Just an idea.
hope you kept the reciept.. dont tell me you ordered it from Temu
I think a big moray eel would look sick
Love your videos but think this ,what looks like a temu pond ,was not worth the buy…..throw it away!!Waiting for the real glass view ponds you have mentioned that were the ones to come next for the garage.
My nostalgia I watched in 2021 😭 ❤
You could use it as a quarantine tank
Maybe try to fix it first? This pond looks cool
Hold on to it or if you can send it back and get the exact one. I would fill it with all kinds of cool fish off your dock 😊
Buzz words of the day are Big and Tall. 😂
I suggest that it is a bait fish pond.
You need to start building on top of something like egg crate diffuser or something hard.
Maybe use the new pond for feeder fish, feeder shrimp.
Try to see if you can fix the pond first, before you get a new one.
I love this pond
Put some sand in it - will keep it grounded and more fun for the fish etc.
I would see if the insulation blanket goes or would fit underneath, between the floor and the pond. It could help avoid punctures, help control temp fluctuations. Or not.... just a thought!
Do weird tanks😊
Weight diffuser under rocks in liner style, the pressure will eventually push the rocks through it
Get a patch kit and patch hole could of made a hole where the rocks fell over possibility good luck 👍 💯
Those rocks had some sharp edges and I’m pretty certain that they punctured the vinyl when the structure collapsed. Should have put sand down first
Back to watching the fish gods .. I mean guys 😂
Ever thought of turning your underground pool to a pond. Saltwater
Nice creation
Slap a Flex Seal patch on that bad boy
You can make a circle Use glass from your previous Projects silicone glue to Glue the glass together you metal to make a roof you can use stuff to support it
Chris why don’t you make a small feeder pond for you to have a bunch of Minos and all feeder’s your fish eat and you live feed them as they over populate but keep getting some as you see the progress
Do more random weird tanks
Find the leak that's a awesome pond
Wait for the big one
don't give up! Try to fix it
Fix the pond and keep adding to it👍 🔨
Do the live fish vending machine again
You can get some patches and patch the hole and keep it
You could use a blower underneath while water is still in it to see where the bubbles come up and flex seal that part
You probably cut the lining when the rocks fell.😮
From rocks falling? Just flex seal it
Toxic for fish. It needs bike tire tube patch kits
What happen to all the smaller fish in the pool pond?
Fix the pond, its really nice because you can see everything clearly
FISH GUY CHRIS HERE BEFORE THE FAME PLS PIN
like if you want him to go on a boat and catch some fish
Get some flex tape or flex seal for the pond
Keep it and make it a minnow breeder to feed your other fish
Early birds (1hour)
👇
You worked so hard to keep your hair and now you want to buzz it all off.....?
Pond :
Find the leak and fix it.
The rockes probably made a micro hole in the pond when they fell over
Fish guy Needle fish merch and hook your boy up for the idea
Keep it and make it a minnow breeder whole in the pond is when you probably dropped the rocks
Dropping rocks in a plastic pond is not a good idea, especially if that pond comes from China.
Rocks probably punctured the bottom!
This episode is so funny.. also Shave itttt
I think you need to fix it if you can. If you can fix it I think a mix of bought and wild caught fish would be great.
Maybe there should be sand or something under the coral
11 comment awesome video Chris you rock and happy Wednesday you always inspire me 💯👍💪
Get that flex tape on it asap
The rocks definitely ripped a hole the many times they fell over…
Return it & get something bigger more lengthy rectangled bigger is better 🎉🎉🎉😅😅😅.
FLEXTAPE
FLEXTAPE
FLEXTAPE
FLEXTAPE
Toxic. It needs a bike tire patch kit
Maybe when the rocks fell you might have a pin hole from the jagged rocks😢 shame but you might have killed it yourself 😬still brill though x
just buy a big acrylic cylinder instead of that plastic one.. one you'll be able to see the fish at all times and you know it won't have a pin size hole in it..
Gorilla glue time! Haha
Temu product?!
Fix it and turn it into a bait pond for all of your other fish
I think the falling rock structure caused a hole....
Fire vid🔥🔥🔥
First bro fish guy tone here
Duh, what did you think was gonna happen when you dropped a bunch of rocks on it. You put the hole in it.....😂
You can use it to keep all your fresh live bait in????
I don't know BIG DOGGIE 💯👣
Weird tanks n pond would be funny as hell especially with some or no destructions I mean instructions roflmao u just realized no instructions included I called that one lol
When the rocks kept falling it may have made a hole or two .
Oops, figure it out
Get a new pond with a thicker liner & a window but keep the pond round.
