16:35 That’s a sea hare. It’s a type of swimming sea slug.
I was going to tell him this. I saw hundreds of them at oak island nc 2 years ago. They are cool to watch swim. Never seen one leave fluids though.
@@christopheresimpson9199 When they’re scared, sea hares squirt ink like an octopus.
i think you should've kept the Sea hare they are harmless and only eat algae :)
If they die they release a toxin that can wipe out the whole aquarium. Big reason many people don’t keep them
With a quick google search sea hare’s ink is a irritant to fish and could kill them
Sea hares can release a cloud of toxic ink with the potential to kill an entire aquarium ecosystem, but their ink is not toxic to humans.
That was a cool catch!
That sea hare was amazing!!!!!!! 🤩 wow never heard of it before. Thanks for all you do, ✌️
Catch Fred!!
Should have put that sea hare in the pond was a badass fish
It isn’t a fish tho… would be cool tho
Its toxic to fish and kill the entire pond…would be cool but would def not work
Yep I knew the Boss Brooke would know ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
except its clear she didnt know, she googled it
Sea hare slug was very cool. First time I seen one swimming
THERES MY BOY.. FGC.. wish I could fish yall some day!! But no matter what day it is. FGC CRUSHES IT.
That sea hare is Aplysia morio, also known as the "The Atlantic Black Sea Hare" or "Sooty Sea Hare", it is one of two native species of sea hare that show up around the Florida coast. They grow up to twelve inches long, and while Aplysia species do not sting, their "ink" is toxic.
Edit: They feed exclusively on red algae.
Derek!!! Yyouuuu lucky fish guy!!! I’ll be from Wisconsin to you someday.
40 comment awesome video today Chris you rock and happy Monday and amazing catch with the fish traps👍💪💯👍💪💯
great video. thanks again for the content
I like the native fish pond. But I think you should have kept the really weird fish. 👍
Wow I saw 1 of those things years ago and had no clue what it was or how to describe it. It was swimming by a dock that I was fishing from. Thanks for another good video
Maybe leave Fred and catch a different snook. I wouldnt want him to completely leave. That "cuddle fish" Is a sea slug. They are awesome, most are venomous but that one is ok as long as you wash your hands after. They are super cool to keep as pets and they do eat fish. They have a harder time eating live fish tho and prefer grazing on grasses and dead things. That is an awesome find. They "ink" when they are scared just like a cuddle fish tho.
Keep it
These kinds of trap vids are always fire 🔥
That sea hare is amazing, never ever seen anything like that before. Bizarre!!! Thats all I got! Bizarre
That slug is super cool love the purple ink! Poor thing very pissed at u!😂😂😂❤ love the slippery d… looks great in native pond!
Hi chris is your out door pond sliding the water looks like it's on the piss. More on end than the other. 🍻🤣
Ya, he didn't level it. It was off in the first video he posted of it set up as well. It bugs me every time I see it unlevel like that. Haha.
I'm sure he doesn't mind, though, and maybe didn't want to put a bunch of sand or dig up and ruin the yard there more.
It is still a nice little pond.
🦧🦍🦓🦓🦧
Wow, those were some crazy catches! That sea hare was crazy looking. And I'm glad you kept the wrasse, they're so colorful.
Would you guys ever make a video fishing in the swamps? 🤩
You should keep a small catfish for the native pond
Name the green fish TOXIN 🐟 and the grunt QUICK SILVER 🐠
Nothing beat fresh stone crab and pompano 😊..
I wish to see Chris drop fish trap see trap sea lobster if can put into garage mega pond epic too
I’m pretty sure I found a blue one in California washed ashore when I was really little and my mom let me hold it 😂 glad I didn’t get stung she would of felt so bad 😂😂😂
7 SECONDS AGO!?
🐟🐟🐟
Sea hare, we used to have them come up on the beach on Sanibel all the time because of low tide.
Great day BIG DOGGIE 💯👣
Didn't catch to much to keep this video but definitely still a good video
Born and raised in FL here. Those sea hares are not poisonous to humans. You could touch one. But that ink stains. And why would you want to hold one..ewww! They have a hard skeleton inside themselves. I grew up watching Cousteau and all the other wild animal and sea life shows
That would be a good video if you put your top ten weirdest fish you have caught in traps and ranked them 🎉 i love when you post fish trap videos ❤
Great video and I can’t wait for more videos to come
Chris that wrasse was so pretty you are right looks like a rainbow 🌈 if i'm not mistaken i seen one in the fish shop you or Jack just went to so hang on to it please it's so cool ❤
I really think you should put a bluefin tuna in your saltwater pond, it will look great with you other fish😊😊. Keep up the good work❤❤❤
Don’t they get like 6ft n eat everything??😂😂
@@guccisgooch9661 and they can't stop swimming or they die
@@AContentCreatr lmaoooo why would you want him to keep that in small pond then??😂that’d jus be abuse
2000 pound fish that can't stop swimming would be ok to keep in a small tank
@guccisgooch9661 yeah but it's not gonna fit and you can't transport them
Love your content I started my own UA-cam channel because of you guys #fishguylife
That slug tho...😮 Pure nightmare fuel😅
Hi Chris you should add some type of planted sea weed in to the pond and you should make a smaller cheaper mystery box because in Australia 1 US. Dollars is 2 Aussie dollars
Can you go catch fish on a boat at a reef and keep the best ones for the tank in garage
The slug was super cool
Awsome
That one is a small GT for sure!.
I am 59 and I just saw something I have never seen before. Thanks
Don’t forget the beautiful tanks in the dining room 😉
Crimson sea slug my guy lol
Hi. I like your video fish trap type epic I wish see you drive your boat go sea center drop couple of fish trap diy big trap see what epic fish u caught deep sea fish trap video😊
Hey !! Wisconsin. 👍👍
That would have been so cool in the big saltwater pond
Love it! Keep up the great work :)
If you can then you definitely need both. 🇬🇧👍
😀😀😀
I think you should leave the dock Snooke be He’s a neighbour you should be good to your neighbours. what a treat he is for you :)
Dude threw the crab trap upside down 🤦🏼♂️ I’m a commercial crab fisherman. Funnels always go on the bottom!!!
Catch Fred
They are also great pets
Black Sea hare so nice
The thing that inked is a sea hare, a swimming sea slug
Love it
make a fish trap video and put different baits in each trap to see what catches the most fish (do baits like canned tuna, hotdogs, chicken, fish)
First to like
Maybe setup a crab pond. That will also be pretty cool
need to level the pond
Giant sea hare, basically a big ass sea slug.
I have to come in and watch the crazy rich Fish Guy Chris and his excitement for his fish hobby
I want to be a chef like you when I grow up
all live warm,, try cold up here
Great video! Leave Fred be. Did you identify the first fish?
Nice video :) - do you have a list of the model of fish traps that you used and their openings?? I'm trying to find a trap to catch some 4" Koi and goldfish in my pond as it's getting overrun and need to thin it out. The 9" openings are just too big. I have a minnow trap that works well on the 2" fish, but need something larger for the 4" fish. I like the traps - they are much less traumatic to either the fish or the pond. looking forward to your recommendations.
It is a sea slug!
7:49 i thought he would eat the fish
But he was releasing the sea slug there was a giant starfish in the back😮
The first fish you caught looks like a Florida Pompano
First 🎉
No me
Sea slug 🥴
Shocked you didn't get a Puffer caught for the native pond. 😆
Yea Im the Crab guy in my family
W
8:15 it is either a baby jack or baby pompano
Atlantic Black Seahare, eats algae
Add some stuff to the Rock so it actually turns into a small reef
It’s a Black Sea hare. Thrives on algae
16:46 Sea slug non venomous
First
Check them every 8 hours
It is like a vampire sq
the first small silver fish with yellow fins is a pompano
I believe that that might be a permit
It’s a juvenile yellow tail jack crevally
Don’t catch fred unles your gonna keep him cus if you release him back he will probably never go back to that spot
First fish is a atlantic bumper
you should call that green umbrella type trap the "Sexy Six". It has six sections!
dont catch fred, the native snook, i think its cool he comes to your dock every night, but if you try to catch him and he gets away, he might not come back
Its a sea hare!
Think I'll start a fish west coast
When you first started the video it looked like it was animated so much is this real or what but it is cuz you always make real
videos
Put that wrasse in the big garage pond!
That slug is similar to the italian dragon slug
But the italian one does not eject that sostance and his head is a bit different just like the way it swims that resembles a dragon.(i'm italian and i'v touched a couple of those.i'm 14and i always loved your channel❤)
next time you cach that slug cepe it🙏🙏🙏🙏
