Dave Ramsey saved me! At 50. I am so grateful and I am debt free at 65. I have a savings as well. Thank you for sharing and helping others! I enjoy your channel. I am looking forward to the trailer rehab.
Hey guys, love all of your content! I've been trying to get my wife on the same page about our finances as I am. Watching this video helped me realize that I am pretty harsh on my wife about purchases. We haven't been open about our debt like yall are saying, but I do believe we're on a path towards paying it off. Thanks for everything guys!
I love this conversation. I'm in my 50s and only been married for 7 years and my husband is financially more successful than myself. I struggle with the embarrassment of where I'm not at with my age in all. So Grace I definitely resonated with you talking about your embarrassment and shame. It's really nice that your husband love you enough to wanna help you resolve your money issues and become a better you. What a blessing. Thank you both for sharing a real issue in marriages! Love and light
Thanks for sharing your story. I love that Grace humbled herself to share the truth about lying about debt to you and her finances as many marriages can relate! And of course; how you overcame. My husband and l are on our debt free journey. working towards the goal together is how we are finding success. I enjoy your content and your an inspiration! Blessings to you 😊
I really appreciate this video especially the vulnerability about the shame around debt and money. I want to be financially stable but seeing you be vulnerable about the shame you felt helped me realize how much more compassionate we have to be as we learn, grow and evolve our relationship with money :') It helped me validate my internal reality because I can totally understand how the shame and guilt can actually end up debilitating you from seeking help and more financial literacy/knowledge. as scary as money can be, I think it's also important that we are merciful to each other about our spending habits because I think it's through that mercy that we can create spaces free of shame that allow us to feel safe to learn more about a tool that affects so many of our life decisions. it wasn't until I left and isolated myself from judgemental voices that I was able to start learning about financial literacy because I felt "safer" to do it. I really love the content you guys provide and the conversations you are sparking :)
Just saw your budget video, and wanted to say as far as cell phone plans go, you need to get mint mobile. Its 180 a year for unlimited data, calling and texting, and works worldwide. Instead of paying 120 a month it will be 30 a month for two unlimited phone plans. :)
I wish parents would continue to increase their financial education and encourage/educate their children about money. My mom helped me open a checking account in a bank and how to balance my account. But we never discussed budgeting, how to save and spend. Did you know that in the age of 3% mortgage rates, over a million households still have a 6% mortgage. Even if they are 15 yrs in they could refinance to 15 year 2.25% mortgage with the same payoff time but pay less toward their mortgage each month. If they qualify for a NACA mortgage they pay no points or closing costs and can get a 1.375% 15yr fixed rate mortgage. But they have a poor financial education and don’t do it.
Isn't finances something couples should talk about when you get engaged?! You can get a head start on working toward financial goals once you join accounts when getting married if you are aware of each other's situations.
Glad you could benefit from Dave Ramsey. Now that you are debt free you should learn from other sources how to build your assets. Dave Ramsey’s philosophy will only hold you back now.
Totally, but I don't think Dave's philosophy will hold me back. I feel like I just "graduated" from them. Becoming debt free actually allowed me the freedom to have more choices with how I spend my time now :) More time and less stress means I can learn and do more of what I want!
“I got nothing homie?” 🤣 I love it.
It's so important for newlyweds to have open discussions about savings and debt. Then you can build a plan and monitor progress together.
Totally, that’s why my wife and I are so passionate about it now. Because we were a mess before we got on the same page about savings and debt.
"Money is just a symptom of deeper issues." Wow, love it.
Always talk about finances before marriage! 🙌🏽
Easier said then done cause of reasons like she said. Fear embarrassment
@@lindaparks4486 but that's why. if it's worth it. you'll try.

She helped me resolve my money issue too! I was too cheap on myself and others. I'm not the man I am today without her.
@@gojereme thanks for saying that because I'm sure you both help each other. I love both of y'all's transparency it's really inspiring.
Your candor is refreshing and it's quite courageous of you both to share. God Bless!
🙂 The baby in the background is worth the whole video 😁
I love how you two have come to a place of compassion for each other and we’re able to resolve the financial issues. Great job!

Thank you both for being so open and vulnerable. 🙏
when you get to the trauma that's how you know it's real 🙌
The honesty is so good. My husband and I didn’t make any financial ground until we combined our budget and accounts!
Thanks Reba! Yea, I believe that is a major first step.
im so glad i found yall! such a blessing, working on paying off debt now, yall are a big inspiration! 👍👍
Appreciate that Thomas!
Such an honest discussion, thanks to both of you for not holding back.
Wow! I really love that principle of dreaming for what you want to get together not what you want to get out of
Game changer. Because at some point you will get out of what you are pursuing, then what?
Them you both for bring transparent and real! You both encourage me. God bless you both

This is worldwide cell plan? My husband and I want to travel a ton so the data would work anywhere?
You two look so much alike. I enjoy your channel.
I thought the same thing!
Haha..really? Never got that before

I'm new to your channel. Judy from Philippines
Jesus said; repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Car loans ARE foolish. 🤣
He hasn't forgive you for hiding debt from him. :(
Don't come here to comment you have, body language screams otherwise.
