- No better way to recharge after busy times then at my mem's home in Friesland. Literally walk barefoot in the grass and eat fresh veggies from the garden. It’s here, surrounded by nature, that I get to feel grounded again. And I love taking Phyllon and Myllena to see their ‘beppe,’ so they too will grow up knowing that sometimes all it takes to make you happy is spotting a hedgehog. It’s the perfect antidote to my other, ‘glamourous’ life, which I love too, as you can see when I get to dance the night away at the Bazaar Icons Party in New York.

She is naturally beautiful, like Adriana Lima (Adriana has a more sensual intense beauty, she only had a boob job) and she got a very classy, feminine beauty...her profile reminds me a bit of Grace Kelly - maybe the nose and jaw -.... it's good to see these naturally beautiful women being also so easy going and down to earth. A very natural beauty compared to those who went to the surgeon and get their faces and became beautiful (first I think of is Bella Hadid which btw I don't find that beautiful...she has somehow a weird beauty and too.much things done, especially her nose has been overdone). Doutzen deserves to be a models, Adriana, Irina, Candice, Grace Elizabeth and so on are natural.....those who come from a plastic surgeon studio or from nepotism do not deserve to be where they are; it is not honest imo.

Tea Hoxha I cried too!! I just moved to the Netherlands almost a year ago and I’m feeling it when she has to say good bye and leave her fam behind. I also make vlogs but they are not as cool as Doutzen’s (I try my best though)
She has such a classy, beautiful face; she's naturally very elegant in her manners and way of being. I'm sure she's grounded and down to earth thanks to her strong family values and upbringing...a positive family bond and discipline. This is good also for her children, to enjoy their childhood and experiment life in nature and learn things little by little in this way, not always being attached to tablets and phones. That's the way I also grew up and it's priceless. She seems a very nice person which values family a lot and life as well. Beautiful couple, their children are gorgeous :-) love the countryside. Sometimes I wonder how you feel to be so beautiful...truly, she has one of the most beautiful, simmetrical faces around (not like fake Bella H or Kendall K.). Lovely family.

Ever notice how the REAL SUPER models, like Doutzen, Candace and Romee to name a few are all so nice in real life? Have zero interest in showing off their wealth? And are polite to "regular" people who work the stores and restaurants they frequent. And then there's the Gigi's, the Jenner girls, Cindy Crawfords daughter, again, to name a few, who thanks to Instagram are labeled "super" models! You routinely read about how rude they are to wait staff, fans, and people who work for them. They can't keep a partner. They regularly get in trouble for their ignorance, Kendall can't read, "Im not a very good reader" Ala Kendall, Gig getting barred from China for disrespecting the culture, they flip off the paparazi rather than go the mature intelligent route and ignore them. They love the attention, don't they get it? Oh thats right, their not very bright. They flaunt their wealth which always seemed very tacky and CHEAP in my eyes. Thank God for women like Doutzen or this world would be a very miserable place with only Jenners, gigis and the like
Doutzen and Romee both being Dutch helps a lot I feel like, we have a very different culture than Americans do. But I still agree with your point. (And yes I know Gigi is partly Dutch...)

I’m a straight girl but I’m more jealous of her husband 😂 I mean... she choosed him out of all the billionaires and a-list actors and singers she could’ve bag, she is hot, plus of being sweet, kind and maternal, to their kids.
A lot of successful rich men would kill for a woman like that, and she settled with a random artist that most of us will never heard of if he wasn’t her hubby.
Hope he won’t be an ungrateful jerk like Adriana’s ex husband and Candice’s ex boyfriend by cheating on her. Cause these Victoria’s secret models seem to always settle down for men below their leagues but they often end up betrayed.

They kill values, respect, love for family and all the important aspects of life (richness from within). Her husband might be anonymous for most of people, but his character is known by her. My dad is a millionaire and he always help someone when he need help, lend him money without asking anything in return , only slept 4 hours a day, to achieve where he is s now, but he is also a good husband and father, on the other hand i know a guy who’s truck driver who’s abusing physically and emotionally his children, while cheating on his wife.
I never said that doutzen husband is a looser but we can’t deny the fact that she’s a wayyy out of his league, since she’s prettier, younger plus of being the main breadwinner.
Ofc when you have a connexion with someone you can see past his salary and look, but that doesn’t mean that he would be grateful.

Almost all kids in The Netherlands are precocious, probably because there is more interaction with grownups, living in tight quarters/small houses where the family is always together in the living room. They hear many more words that way from a young age, and that boosts intelligence and the ability to learn more.

@@margaretfinny9560 Dutch is the easiest language for native English speakers to learn, research showed. So I guess Afrikaans isn't that hard either. It is almost Dutch, it just developed a little different from when the Dutch colonists went to live in South Africa. But reading Afrikaans is easy for the Dutch as is reading Dutch for people who speak Afrikaans. I really do appreciate that she is not targeting only girls on her channel: it isn't glamorized, no annoying content like what I wore today, or what's in my purse or some other type of shit. How clear it is that she completely has fallen victim to to the needs and greeds of her mind/ego/body that forced her into this artificial "other" life as a model which is completely empty and doesn't mean anything. When I was in the Netherlands, I loved this mix of craziness (like Amsterdam) and peace (countryside), it's definitely a must-visit country. Such a warm and cozy episode and Doutzen is soooo amasing! I always thought that she is glamorous and typical model, not a tomboy she really is. Their Myllena is such a treasure.

I've always been drawned to Doutzen for a reason, been following her career, how she's doing but these episodes are really beautiful and I actually understand now why I felt a connection to her. She is a really nice, sensitive person with same values as my mother taught me. I had a chance to grown up in a small town my grandma on a countryside had chickens, rooster, goose you name it, we had a wine yard. It's a great place to grow up as a kid and as she said it's great to carry that with yourself wherever you are as an adult.
