Don't worry about the bucks and tears, it all happens in the equestian world. Sadly not everything goes to plan or the way we want, so proud of you and Joey. Joey has came such a long way, I remember that you were looking for an amazing UA-cam horse that we would fall in love with just like you, and that we did. You do such a good job with him! Love from Arizona
Awww Esme. You are such a kindhearted human being. It’s such a fantastic mindset to not worry about placements or scores but instead having fun with your beautiful horse. And still getting a fabulous purple rosette along the way! I know you always say how grateful you are to have Joey, but he is equally if not more lucky to have you. I’m so looking forward to your journey together. Love you! ❤
I just wanted to say that it was so lovely that you kept the part where you got emotional. Setbacks, injuries and life screw things up. What you felt and are feeling is so valid and relatable. Your doing fantastic, we’re here cheering you on 😝x
Hey Esme! I just wanted to say that you and Joey are a big inspiration to me! My mare currently has fibrosis issues in the ligaments around her deep digital flexor tendon from old misstraining injuries. We don’t know what the extent of her abilities will be in the future, but I have remained hopeful that she will heal and seeing you guys back at it has given me even more hope. So thank you!
Aww man! Now my waterworks are going xD so, so happy for you! Seeing you and Joey coming back from something so traumatic is just the best thing to see and it's truly a testament to your dedication to your horses. You did everything in your power to fix him, gave him time to heal and took things slow and here you both are shining together again!
CONGRATS ESME ON GETTING 6TH!!🎉🎉THAT IS AMAZING!! Especially since it's the first show back from the injury. You and Joey did incredibile🎉✨We are all super proud of you❤️
Totally understand the tears Esme, it’s been a long road for you all and very scary at times, you’ve worked so hard through this, so to see you so happy and Joey looking SO good I shed a tear with you , well done sweetheart you and Joey are awesome 🎊 🎉💕💕
Remember, even going there and competing is a win! I hope you two stayed safe and had fun. I’m happy for you, and there will always be more shows! I’m also going to a show tomorrow after track and field, sadly I’m missing the English part, but I’ll be thinking of you! Can’t wait to watch!
No wonder you were crying at the end, the relief that first Joey was eventually ok after his accident and now he is fit, well and strong enough to go back into competition ❤ well done to you both xxx
I am so proud of you and Joey. It is a relief that he was able to pull through because I know what it is like as one of my very first ponies ended up passing away. I hope that there are many more memories that you can make with Joey. ❤
OMG esme you and joey have come so far since his injury. I am so proud of you and him he did so well. Cheeky joey for putting in a bronc ❤❤❤ hope you can get to loads more comps with him xxx
Well done Esme and joey! You guys have came so far! So glad joey recovered from his injury I am a huge fan of your channel! Give lots of cuddles to joey from me! I love you and joey so much you guys are the best! ❤ I ride at your old riding school at Jackie’s yard and I ride toffee and joey and more!! Love you so much Esme❤❤❤
Congratulations! 🎉 Don't worry about the happy tears, they're never embarrassing. Dressage lady here, didn't see the whole test but also thought he was a little on the lazy side but hey better than all explosive and jumpy. And a very nice outline he has. Btw. I practice my tests on foot, so very embarrassing if someone sees it 😅 but I've never forgotten where to go as yet. Also the horse doesn't remember and tries to take over.
Your so wholesome and genuine I wish there were more like you on UA-cam, well done yous both looked fantastic, you should be so proud how well you looked after Joey through his rehab yous deserve this and more 🎉
Looks like you both did great! So happy that Joey is back! . It seems like not that long ago you didn't know if you'd be able to ride him again, and now look at him! I'd be crying happy years too. 😊
I did my first competition ever this spring and it was CRAZY how my adrenaline was going. I did everything right, which MAJOR surprised me.. I didn't miss any jumps or do the wrong order.. but I lost a stirup, which never happens to me so I now have new stirups hah which are easier to get back into if I loose one again.
Well done Esme! I'm so proud of you and Joey and how far you've come; you two make an incredible team. Keep up the good work and never stop believing in yourself and your incredible horse 🤗💖
Great job you guys! I know how it is being nervous about getting back into it. Your videos have been great and have helped me with my anxiety since I was in my accident in November of 2021. Thank you. You guys have come so far. The sky’s the limit.❤️🙏
Congrats on getting back out in the show ring with Joey. It’s great to see him bounce back so well after his injury. Regardless of whether you get a rosette or not, as long as you both enjoy it; that’s the most important thing. But congrats on the purple rosette! 💜
CONGRATULATIONS ESME! So proud of you on your first show with Joey you did incredible job and sending positive vibes and energy xoxo 😘 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Do not worry Esme we all get competition fears. Your an amazing rider we all love you and you should remember your so good at riding ( btw love your vids💕💕💕💕💕)
A lovely video, well done to you both and happy that you two have been to achieve your dreams which a few months ago you thought you may not be possible. I completely empathise with you feel. My dreams sadly came to a sudden end with my first boy, General, but thanks to my Murphy I’ve created new ones with him. Can’t wait to see more of u and Joey competing. 😊💖
honestly you and joey work so well together and you looked very professional out there! you have inspired me so much to want to start riding thank you so much for everything you do Esme!
Your riding has improved! 6th is amazing after 9 months well done. Your horse's mane looks difficult as thin in places. Tip, i grow the mane to the width of my hand about 10 cm. Always pulled, never with scissors except for triming. Plait the whole mane down before rolling up. It means when rolling, you get into a roll, and they all look the same. I think you did 15 plaits. I always do 11 unless the horse is Huge! If there is less, they will be bigger. Great story. ❤
Thank u so much I have a comp in a couple of days and I can not tell u enough how good I feel that everyone can trouble keep going with Joey u r doing really well
This can be hard I totally get it my horse had a strained leg and had 3 months off and it felt like I had to retrain him I believe in you though! Look I went to regionals thinking I wasn’t gonna get anything and ended up winning a lot of things it’ll be ok it does feel awful at the start
What I’m thinking in my head while she unboxed the saddle pads: Ok, saddle pad number 306🙃 But you guys got this Joey looks so beautiful and stunning and so do you ❤
Wow. This is one of the first videos I've ever watched and you have come across so well. I think I may have judged you and put you in a category of horse 'influencer'. Which I think you are but in a positive way. Yes you still have the LM gear but you seem very genuine and kind hearted. I'm sorry I judged you. I look forward to investing more time in yours and Joeys adventures. You have a beautiful friendship ❤️
Hey Esme! Just wanted to say this now because I’ve always wanted too! (Sorry for how long this is in advance😂❤)! You have inspired me so much, I cant even begin to explain. Without you, I may have not EVER have gotten into riding and that scared me! When I was going through hard times, with my parents divorce , you always were there and helped me, with your cute animals and bright smiles, you always made my world better just by being in it. NEVER STOP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING, BECUASE WHATEVER YOUR DOING, YOUR DOING SOMETHING RIGHT!!! Love you and your equines sm Esme! Best wishes, Gracieloveshorses 💗 11 years old, Canada Ps: I hope Bruno feels better soon!❤
