Another great video brother….! In the beginning, you absolutely blew my mind…!!! 😂 You had me fooled TG….Loved it…… And I’m not wearing any fake watch… What is wrong with these people…? If you’re worried about wearing a watch somewhere, don’t wear it…..! Wear another watch that’s less expensive…. Greg
It’s alright when you have the money.fakes are everywhere.some people it will be the nearest they get.and doesn’t mean they don’t love watches.Rolex give people watches for nothing.just to show it on their hand once then they sell it.fakes help to hide real ones.there is a lot of snobbery in having high end watches.just appreciate and be able to have one.most with fakes it’s has closest to having a real one has they will get.
Tony, by addressing such a question and providing advice do you realize you are interfering with natural selection? May I recommend that you just let nature take its course. In this way our species can get stronger over time. Thank you sir.
Hi Tony. Question for Friday: If a watch has sub/parts of second hash marks on the chapter ring, how important do you feel it is that they correspond to the beat rate of the movement/ticks per second of seconds hand? I am not a fan of them in general although they are kind of compulsory on a chronograph, and probably suit the design/brand of some 3 hand watches. It messes with my OCD when you have say an 8 ticks per second watch with 5 segments per second, when it would need to be 4 (or 8) to line up. I assume they are always there for the seconds hand on a chronograph, but maybe the manufacturer would say they are there for minute hand on a three hand watch? I know Omega had a Speedmaster that got it wrong, and Hanhart (who specialise in stopwatches) seem to have done it on their 3 hander.
Great piece Tony. In my humble opinion, most people who say “they wear a fake because the real one is at home…”. Is probably BS. There is no real one at home. Especially using Patek as an example.
Hi tony i know your love for a certain german nomos, but have you seen union glasshutt watches ? They have some nice pieces, .also LoL no one in England speaks like that apart from the royals.
I am just guessing that most of your viewers don't wear Patek Phillipe watches. However, I would imagine that many professional thieves would case you out for awhile. You know, the make sure that you are the type of person that can afford such a watch before robbing them. For example, if someone noticed that I was wearing that watch they most likely wouldn't pay any attention to me. It would be assumed that I could never afford such a watch. However, if Tony is seen with the same watch on his wrist it is a good bet that the watch is real. Tony would be a good target for a pro heist. Yes, I know, amateur thieves wouldn't go to the same amount of trouble to case out a potential victim. A pro definitely would be more selective though.
The magic watch ball was awesome! Another reason that article’s statement about wearing a fake is reckless is that the countrrfeit industry isnt the best industry to support, either!! It’s so sad that guy was killed over a fake watch.
What up my bro, I’m from the Midwest. I took my day date 36mm to Greece and it was awesome…I covered it a couple times. I was just in Chicago (luxury shopping areas) and had my Date Just 41 with Rolex factory diamonds from my AD…and I was pretty much ok. I would never do it in the evening. Why it gotta be Junebug?? Lol
Tony, thanks for the content. It's all about situational awareness! When I wear one of my high-end watches, I'm selective about where I go and keep track of who is around me. Even though I live in Coral Gables, one of the safest and most upscale areas of Miami, and have a concealed carry permit, I don't put myself in situations that elevate my risk for being robbed. Criminals look for easy targets, i.e. distracted, inebriated, and people that just look like soft targets. Whoever said wearing a fake in case they get robbed are flat-out clueless. Thanks for raising watch crime awareness and a big 👍 up from the 305.
You're absolutely right. Robbery is a violent crime and people get seriously hurt. Robbers don't politely ask for valuables, that won't be a robbery! The best thing to do is to be aware of your surroundings and don't put yourself in places or situations that could be dangerous. I love your sarcastic humour with the video too! Makes a great entertaining video!
Reptimers are always twisting their insecure selves into pretzels trying to justify wearing fakes. They actually hate the fact that most people choose to buy genuine watches lol. It would be comical except that some of them end up trying to sell their fakes as genuine watches on used watch sites. Be careful guys because they get off fooling people with their fakes. They actually fell justified in their deception because they supposedly hate the luxury brands for charging so much for their watches.
@@talkingtimepieceswithtony yes I did. My point is that there is no way to convince these guy to not wear fake watches in risky environments. Many have tried but these guys are willing to risk their life and limbs wearing their fakes. I have had the same discussions but the excuses are wild and they are dug in.
I think the idea is you just give them the watch and so you still actually have to go through the robbing. But at least you don't lose your swiss piece in the process
@@talkingtimepieceswithtony that's why it's always good practice that after you comply you present them with all of your holes. After the robber climaxes he will be very docile and sleepy and you can usually sneak away
Yea here in NYC they’ll machete your arm from a moped 🏍️ 💨💨 then figure out if it’s fake later, you’ll be left with wearing the right handed GMT for the rest of your life
You’re right. If you dangle a piece of meat in front of a lion, it doesn’t know if it’s real meat or vegan meat. Best bet is to be aware of your surroundings and wear nothing if you feel like you’re going to be at risk. When I go to these high end bars in LA, I often see a lot of Rolexes, AP’s and Pateks. I’m sure some are fake but no one is going to bring a loop to study it.
Yes….. who cares. I wouldn’t wear a fake patek but I do own a homage to the Aquanaut which is a great beater watch The real message is should you really wear high end luxury watches or bags in a large city??? I don’t wear a known luxury watch in bangkok, downtown seattle, DC, NY or manila but would in Singapore, Doha and Dubai…. those afe countries
Tony's computer keyboard has no Ctrl key because Tony is always in control.

That’s a horrible looking rep. I could tell right away. Especially when you put it next to the picture of real one. But to each their own I guess.
Good for you. I’m so proud of you for noticing.
Yea now I understand completely
The guy with the Binoculars could have been bird 🤷♀️watching in the middle of London Tony. Nice content. Thanks.
Bird watching without feathers 🤪
Yeah, looking at chicks in between watch spotting! 😂😂
Happy Birthday Dino! 🎉

god bless america, where we can talk/think about the most pointless things on the face of the earth.
Yet you still took the time to write a lame ass comment.
If one is worried about wearing their jewelry watch, then wear a 5160 or 5000u. Be safe...Junebug out.

Hey man. I’ll add to the Q&A.
If it was real you would be crazy to spend $90,000 on that watch
Maybe $30,000
So far from the point of the video.

I’m going to visit London in October. Will not take my one of my luxury watches. Not worth the risk imo. I’ll take my g-shock or apple watch.
Smart choice!
Tony and the Magic watch ball!!! I agree 100% do not wear a fake watch. Happy Sunday.
I agree on that. Happy rest of your Sunday. 🤙🤙
I guess you don't even wear an Omega in a possible problem area, or then well hidden. And flex a bare wrist if you come out of a watch store.
