July 2024 Observations | BMPCC OG Film | Color Grading 16mm

- Опубліковано 15 жов 2024
- A longer film than usual this month. I had too many clips that I couldn't stomach losing so I took the more-is-more approach.
Film: BMPCC OG with Lumix 12-32mm and Lumix 14-42mm
Music: Dimensions - Arcade Fire, Owen Pallett
I really appreciate you watching.
Beautiful stuff man!
I so enjoyed that… thank you. Every shot was a treat and the overall feel so nostalgic and yet positive. Absolutely wonderful colours… looking forward to the tutorial when you get the time!
@@ThinkingAboutCameras its comments like these that keep me going! Thank you for watching, my friend ❤️
Lovely work!!!
@@darkvisionsbrightlights8145 thank you for watching!

@@cad4839 thank you!!! 🥹
Love coming back here for the monthly diaries. I even started doing my own, because I really liked the format :)
@@memoryxloss thank you thank you!!
Just picked up a BMPCC OG recently as well! I know you’re thinking about dropping a color grade tutorial soon. But I’m curious to know your camera settings and workflow as well… looking forward to this one!
You’ll love the OG! I’ll make sure to go over camera settings and workflow in my eventual tutorial :)
Thanks for watching ❤
@@chrisgrasmussenwell love it 🥺
That was absolutely fantastic! I love the choice of music too!!
@@AdvertiseReality you’re too kind!! Thanks for commenting 😇
lovely work, dude
really appreciate your work chris!
I appreciate you watching ❤️
Incredible. The color is so rich and warm. I wish I had even the slightest clue as to how you’re doing this - I have been trying shooting Apple ProRes log video lately and fussing around with it, but it always looks wonky.
You’re too kind- Thank you very much ❤️ I’ll be putting together a color grading tutorial so hopefully that will help!
I’m obsessed with your color grading and the vibes of your videos man! Keep it up 🔥
@@stevebeat thank you very much!! I really appreciate you watching and giving me a shout :)
So good
Incredible

so good
@@fraaz_k thank you!! ☺️
keep the good work mate! just one thing, leave some shots longer, let the video oxygenate. it is not necessary for all clips to last the same length, a big hug from spain.
this is awesome
Thanks my friend 🕊️
love this
hell ya
@@ConorShenk Hell ya. You got Corey or Umar?
@@chrisgrasmussen corey pls
@@ConorShenk SAAAAAAME 🥺
Amazing as always. For everyday carry and ease if use, which one would you choose? The OG or gx85?
what emulator do you use? This looks sooo good! You should make color grading tutorial
I want to live inside this video (-:
@@kamijanderson KAMI!! 🥹 that means a lot coming from you!
Where can I get the frame overlay ?
Hey bro! Do you rig this bad boy up or just run and gun it? I'm thinking of picking one up so I don't bring my 16mm film camera travelling with me. Cheers!
Hey hey! I don’t really rig it up at all. I keep a small cage on it for protection and a bit of weight but I try to keep it as small as possible and utilize small lenses ✨ hope it helps at all!
@@chrisgrasmussen ahh awesome! thank you. Are you just rocking the cage and nothing else? Just wondering as the handheld is so smooth!!
beautiful work, do you use an nd filter?
@@eddiebustos3718 yep! I keep the iso at 800 and ND
This is absolutely incredible. Is this handheld footage? If so, how does it look so stable?🤩
Handheld. I do a bit of post stabilizing in Davinci and I keep a cage on the OG for added weight
@@chrisgrasmussenThank you so much. Please make a video on how you colour grade and emulate film. Would love to see it. This is some of the best footage I’ve seen with any MFT camera period. Absolutely amazing.
@@user-ki2ww7ob4q color grade and workflow tutorial coming! Thank you so much 🥰
How do you carry around your Bmpcc? I have one as well but find it somewhat awkward. Not quite small enough to fit into my pockets.
I love the idea of brining mine everywhere I go but find it hard when I’m already carrying a stills camera
I use this Nomatic carrying pouch which fits the BMPCC OG with a cage on and one of the small kit lenses! It’s a little snug but it gets the job done

this is 4:3 aspect ratio???
This is awesome. Did you use dehancer?
Yessir!

What lens do you use?
This was with the kit lumix 12-32mm and 14-42mm
