    On tip two First delivery with time code to know where to adjust... make changes and make a final delivery.

    • @SebastianFriedrichVisuals
      @SebastianFriedrichVisuals  Рік тому +1

      Sure, you can do it that way, too. But I prefer to just watch the edit back straight in resolve and use the marker whilst watching (is slightly faster than delivering it with timecode, imo) but either way, I'd say both work equally fine and are way more efficient than re-watching every time you make a change 😅

      @@SebastianFriedrichVisuals There are often more ways to do things. My old Mac - 2013 in playback, not smooth. I think that is why I do it this way.
      Think your way is much faster! thnx for the repley.

  • @ZeeGeeSims

    I do that! Fix something, go back and watch the whole thing again. Gotta stop that. Thanks for the tip. It will make me faster.

    • @SebastianFriedrichVisuals
      @SebastianFriedrichVisuals  Рік тому +1

      Yeah definitely stop that man - watch it when you’re done with the edit and mark the things you want to change and then attack them individually- once that’s done, watch it again, so you basically just have to re-watch it 2 times!🙌🏽

    Hi Sebastian!
    What you advice me as a total beginner in regard of what to start with? I work as a cabin crew and planning to buy a macbook pro and and the latest iphone(i'm an andoid user).
    What type of content would you recomend me to start on doing, having only the iphone as my main camera and what should i do with that content?
    Thank you and keep up the great work.

    • @SebastianFriedrichVisuals
      @SebastianFriedrichVisuals  Рік тому

      Hey Bogdan! Those are actually hard questions.
      I'd only advice you to create content that you are passionate about - whatever topic that might be. Just film it, edit it and upload it. You will get better over time, the first step is always the hardest to really take the time, to film something, edit it and then upload it! Just go for it! :)

      @Sebastian Friedrich also I did end up getting the package from FX. I am a bit confused about adding the transitions into DaVinci resolve. Also when I tried downloading the light flares they ended up downloading too my Google drive and not in my files. You think you could help me out a bit. Maybe point me in the right direction?

      Hey Michael! Big thanks for that comment and the continuous support man - highly appreciate that!
      To answer your question- I‘d love to do a livestream maybe once a month but unless german government finally decides to give proper internet to the people who do not live in a big city, my internet can’t handle a livestream, so I am basically hand cuffed when it comes to that. And I am super annoyed by our government because from the outside they make everything look super good but when it comes to infrastructure in general, it‘s way behind ‚3rd world countries‘ - imagine, the best internet I can possibly get in my area is 0,4 mbit/s download and 0,1mbit/s upload - and that’s the best case scenario. I am thinking about going with StarLink to get some proper internet but $90/month and a 1 time payment of $500 just for internet is a huge investment! But once I am able to livestream I will definitely do that!

      @@SebastianFriedrichVisuals hey thanks for your comment back I totally understand it the same here in Ireland for some rural people in the countryside. But it’s getting better. I have some experience sell it would mobile broadband be an option? Here you get it for 4g 35 euro or 5g 40 euro 12 mths on a mobile network.A lot of Europe have either now.. and can get 200/300 mb . Might be an option. And well done 👍 on the video keep up the good work. I’m sure this community will be looking forward to your next few videos. Have a good day

    • @SebastianFriedrichVisuals
      @SebastianFriedrichVisuals  Рік тому +1

      Hey Michael!
      Yeah, that's what came to my mind as well, so I tried it and what should I say - even mobile coverage via LTE isn't a given standard in Germany. It is, when you live in big cities, however, on the countryside outside of the big cities, coverage isn't there at all. Even via LTE / 4G - (we're not even thinking about 5g in germany because 4g isn't even widely covered yet) I can only get a maximum rate of 1.5 mbit/s downstream - imagine what a pain this is to even upload UA-cam videos - this 5 min video had a file size of roughly 4GB - luckily I have a laptop and can go to a coffee shop in the next city, enjoy a coffee while it's uploading from their wifi! :D
      Have a great day and hope you're well!!:)

    What is your folder structure for any project

    • @SebastianFriedrichVisuals
      @SebastianFriedrichVisuals  Рік тому +1

      I guess I could do a whole video on this topic :D
      For client edits:
      Cam A ( Day 1; Day 2; ...)
      Cam B (Day 1; Day 2; ...)
      Cam C - Drone (Day 1; Day 2; ...)
      Interview (Cam A; Cam B;...)
      Audio (Person 1 Lav; Person 2 Lav; Boom / Shotgun)
      Voiceover
      B-Roll (A-Cam - Day1; A-Cam - Day 2; B-Cam Day 1, etc)
      Music (Artlist; Envato,)
      SFX (Artlist; Envato; Stock)
      Logos
      Stills (Day 1; Day 2;...)
      Timelines (Dailies, Master; ...)
      Overlays
      Animations
      This is usually my folder structure (Subfolders in brackets with maybe additional subfolders within them) - changed if project requires, obviously, but for the most part I am confident with this one! :)
      - If we talk about my UA-cam videos / tutorials, the folder structure of course is much more simplified :D
