Darth Vader DESTROYS Everyone's Career Scene - Star Wars Outlaws

- Lord Vader, a cultural icon of upper management, fulfils his contractual obligations to appear in the latest Star Wars media which is of course, as mentioned in the title, Star Wars Outlaws.
Thanks to Ubisoft for providing me a copy of the game #StarWarsOutlaws
Just a reminder for everyone that this game takes place after the empire strikes back so Vader is pretty pisst off with everyone in the imperial army after he was lied to for so many years that his son was dead and all he cares about at this point is destroying the rebels and finding his son
I don't blame him
If I found out I was lied to as well I would be mad too
Explain why he's such a dick.
Was he lied to? Pretty sure his kids were hidden.
@@ThisHandleSystemCanGetNickedDuring Padme's funeral, they made it seem like she was still pregnant so that Vader would think his children were dead.
Also I think Palpatine knew for a bit that Vaders kids were alive. Never know with that guy though.
@@theautomator8372 He was the one who killed her, via a remote Sith Ritual off-screen to siphon her life force to keep Vader alive while he was in surgery. Hence why she supposedly... "Lost the will to live". So yeah, he definitely knew, and just gaslit Vader about it for 20 ish years.
It was the perfect scheme for Palpatine. Get rid of a senator who was a royal pain in his ass during the Clone War cuz she would just NOT tolerate any sort of tyranny, and he wasn't about to tolerate her rebellious acts in his new Empire, because she would've acted way faster than Organa or Mothma did. While at the same time eliminate any chances that would make Vader a liability which he 100% would've if she didn't die cuz she would constantly try to reach out to him.
All this, 2 birds with 1 stone, and no one would ever find out that he did it, because Sith Rituals of sorts aren't easily comprehended by the Jedi during this time, given the fact they didn't sense anything wrong in the moment either when she was in labor which was just miraculous timing for her to do as well.
As usual, the moment Vader shows up, everyone knows they're fucked. 😂
And those who don't are put in their place
He’s like the boss that can never respect you and only calls you a failure because you didn’t do your job right
Maybe the Empire being incompetent is a self fulfilling prophecy, and it's all Vader's fault for going around calling everyone a failure all the time lol
He just got spoiled with Rex and the boys during the Clone Wars so he has low tolerance for bullshit now.
@@AFGuidesHD have you met some of them in the Empire out of Vader?
In Legends, he did respect certain individuals like Daine Jir who Vader respected for his brutal honesty and ruthlessness. Thrawn is another one even if Vader often butted heads with him.
Vader respects quite a few people. He just hates incompetence. Which... Yeah, who does not hate a high ranking officer that talks big, but are absolutely worthless, and just a waste of money and resources?
man Vader sure was busy, between tracking the crew of the Ghost, chasing after Kal for the holocron, chasing after Obiwan and Reeva, and now being in Outlaws.
certainly earns his pay
And I thought Lego Vader was busy
outlaws is between tesb and rotj which takes place in 3 aby and 4 aby........cal kestis was before that ...his story was between 14 and 9 bby
Yeah but all of those were a lot earlier the outlaws
Those were all at different points in time. But yes, Vader was very, very active in his duties.
that guy got some balls to question lord vader like that
Indeed
For an Intelligence Officer he wasn’t so intelligent to tell that Darth Vader is the LAST person to be pissing off
If you truly want to make Vader mad, make sure you're armed with a lightsaber
Yeah but if I was armed with my lightsaber that would be the last thing he would be mad.
@@Demon-ft1th forget the lightsaber. Just run and pray he don't kill you.
@@matthewlunde5270 Oh sure, it's not like he's gonna- "Chokes before force pulled into Vader's grip around the neck""
A mad Vader is a stupid Vader.
Unless you have plot armor @@Infernal460
Also the scene where Sliro's meeting with Vader is similar to Director Krennic's from Rogue One, both are directors, wear white uniform and cape, are personally confronted for failure and incompetence by Darth Vader who used the force on the egotistical and ambitious directors to silence them.
Rogue One: Be careful not to choke your aspirations, Director.
Outlaws: Then I suggest you find some rebels, Director.
He always knows how to get officers to understand
Vader Carrying the whole star wars franchise on his back rn
With 5-10 minutes of screen time every time. 😂
@@Darth_Arashi Yea exactly they cant get us excited for anyone else but vader seems like
@@whitefang4490 They just make bad decisions. But also have other good characters like Cal Kestis and the fallen order games. Such a good character being built over there I think he’s going mostly unnoticed too.
@@Darth_Arashi i feel the same about andor even tho its not that much of a popular one cal and andor both carry star wars rn but for every good character theres 5 bad ones and their respective shows or games
@@whitefang4490 yep it’s always 1 step forward 3 steps back.
2 weeks later the world looses James Earl Jones. R.I.P legend.
I was taken aback by how different Vaders voice is.
I like it as a back up voice
It might be Ai, which was used in Kenobi believe but it was much better in that show
the VA for Darth Vader retired but said that he will let them use an AIbif his voice for projects but I don’t remember what projects his AI voice is allowed in
Ofc it's not James Earl Jones but it's definitely not that bad
@@eliminator1472 Definitely not here. If it was Ai they could've easily made him sound exactly like the og actor.
I like that thumbnail shot of Vader behind the glass shards which reflected his anger and wrath and I feel it's cool to see him using them to silence and intimidate the director. That could perhaps be a painful way to die by Vader. And I thought Sliro Barsha would become the second ISB officer to be personally executed by Vader for failure, the first being Denvik from Jedi: Survivor. I would expect him to force choke him through hologram.
Outlaws definitely has the best and most realistic looking stormtrooper models I will say
And darth vader as well
Ubisoft using the wrong filter on Vader’s voice
Why is it, that every time a small insurgenc of rebels is causing a small bit of trouble, the empire just sends in Lord Vader to clean up the mess?
Ask emperor palpatine
@@mariolaudato8019 I suppose so. Yet if you ask me, the empire may as well just have Vader do all the work and get rid of the stormtroopers and imperial officers who seem to be very incompetent in the work they are doing when a bunch of rebel forces are sort of mucking up their work.
@@matthewlunde5270indeed
Probably because Vader is the only one Palpatine can count on to get things done.
@@azureheart2846 Seems a bit overkill. And he never really did finish off those rebels from Lothal.
1:30 another moment of modern star wars where darth vader is genuinely terrifying😂
Dude really said the battle at hoth was a shit show and thought he’d get away with it
Director Barsha is very lucky that wasn't Vader from the Obi Wan series.
That Vader would promote him if he just said "it's part of my plan".
Well, Vader was only harsh and cruel in Kenobi series because it was abou Obi Wan, so it was personal for him. This is just some random Rebels.
The vibes I get from Vader in this is 'Look man I am having a rough rotation, I got a kid with one less hand I didn't know about and an emperor mad at me for the same reason. If you could just shut up and be useful then you'll save us both some pain'
Nowadays I'm pretty apathetic to Star Wars games using Vader in a surprise cameo... but using the glass to attack Barsha is something the Witness from Destiny would do, and those attacks were no joke. Its made even better by the absolutely stunning cutscene graphics. For some of the faults Star Wars Outlaws might have, this certainly ain't one of them.
"Be careful not to choke on your aspirations, Director."
No one, not even ISB is safe from vader's wrath.
Not even….. The wily, wacky IRS ?
Bro is wild for throwing Hoth in vaders face.
It's a miracle he kept his neck privileges intact after that
especially since Hoth was the late and unlamented Admiral Ozzel's screw up
Instead of Vader, they could have put an Inquisitor, it's time for the Inquisitors to be scary too. Marrok would be perfect to replace Vader here, with that voice of his.
I think all the inquisitors beside marrok (probably still around or perhaps dead before being revived by morgan) are all dead since this takes place after empire strikes back
So it makes more sense for darth vader to handle this matter
Since he is still around before return of the jedi
@@mariolaudato8019 I honestly hate how they just shrug off their existence due to Tarkin's one line about the jedi all being dead in a new hope, in legends they were still around and active in the empire during the OT, just not involved with the hunt for Luke and some of them, like Jerec, outlived Vader and Palpatine
They are all dead but I do agree that we should have the inquisition be a threat to
@@sugdolomarAnd thats the damn problem. The Inquisitors were not supposed to outlive Vader or Palpatine.
Both of them hindered the Inquisitors on purpose to nothing more than rabid attack minions to snuff out hiding Jedi or even kidnapping Force sensitive children to turn them into Inquisitors too.
If you still think the Inquisitors are supposed to be some baddasses that Palpatine invested his whole heart and being a cheerleader for it, you're out of your mind.
@@sugdolomar "I hate how they still try to respect canon"
Vaders voice sounds off here somehow
It is , doesn't seem right
Might just the actor being old.
Different voice actor obviously.
They couldn’t get Chad Vader? What the hell is wrong with Ubisoft?
@@brucechmiel7964Matt Sloane was not a particularly good Vader. Conversely, I don't know why they didn't keep Scott Lawrence on. He's nearly 1:1 for James Earl Jones.
I have no knowledge of the game but really like this portrayal of Vader and the Imperials. They are not incompetent, self sabotaging, infighting fools as far too many recent Star Wars projects have presented them as.
No.. Infighting has always been an issue of the Empire. Even as far back as in the expanded universe, Imperials argued and went behind eachothers' backs all the time. Even in the original movies, you see Vader continuesly reminding officers of their place, and to not overstep it.
We are just shown it, alot more clearly nowadays.
Oh no, the Empire is VERY prone to infighting. Unlike the Emperor, though, who is amused by it and sees it as a way to keep everyone distracted from plotting against HIM, Vader has no patience whatsoever for it and always tries to stamp it out wherever he sees it. Ironically Vader actually believed in the Empire as a concept more than Palpatine did.
@@LordSiravant The difference between Palpatine and Vader is that between a tyrannical politician and a ruthless mechanic/general. The latter wants the system to work, not necessarily rule it. The former... wants to rule at all costs. Infighting for the former is a bug, for the latter a feature. Competent underlings busy fighting eachother are ones not plotting to remove you. Dividi et Impera.
That and Sidius may actually be high on galactic misery.
Should of used Scott Lawrence to voice Vader for this
Funny thing, I checked who voices him and he is voiced by Scott Lawrence. Dunno why he sounds so off.
So jokes aside, I think the point is, their overreliance on Darth Vader in recent years is evident of their inability to conceive of a novel character with any sort of staying power. Or at least, unwillingness to trust any of their own new ideas.
@@faded9581 Star Wars fallen order games are good and it’s centered on a whole new crew.
Kay Vess has staying power imo
Vader’s voice…wasn’t the best in this game. But I completely forgave it after that threat with the broken glass, that was insane!
That Vader voice is shocking
Pretty bad
Horrible
Huge step back after they had almost perfected it in Kenobi
Sigh. This thing of sticking Vader into every game that comes out is starting to get old. Just give us a Darth Vader game at this point.
@user-7946cx4dAnd I only say this because I want a Darth Vader game. Like you might as well take the next step and do that.
Agree. Same with Bobba. They're overused.
I think an empire game that lets you play as Vader at some points would be great but I don’t. Know if a solo Vader game would work as well as we think
@@PortugueseBadmanI don’t think either of them are to overwhelming either the eras that the games are in are vaders prime so he would be most active
@@BJackson-kg5dr Hunting Obi Wan, hunting the Ghost Crew, hunting Cal Kestis at this point give me a Vader game.
The fact that Vader has genuinely never had a bad or forgettable scene is actually crazy. Probably speaks to how iconic he is.
While I can't say about the rest of game, the acting here between the two brothers was very good. While knowing absolutely nothing outside of what was said here in this video, i can feel the weight of the moment from the voice acting alone.
The regret between both of the brothers, the reasons why they did what they did, and the fact that deep down they do care about each other to an extent, all is well acted out here... Then the protagonist had to show up...
"The Emperor is waiting... for he is not as forgiving as I am."
I was expecting a Force Choke from Vader as usual, but holding a guy at glasspoint? That's actually good to see from Vader. 😊
Whether you like or dislike the game Vader is once again protrayed to perfection in the Jedi games and here
Rest in Peace, James Earl Jones. You're one with the Force.
Holy shit they fucked Vader’s voice up.

Why does Vader sound like Giancarlo Esposito
What happened to the Voice Actor from Jedi? For Vader
Interesting cape. It’s like Krennic’s meets either The Mandalorian Armorer’s furry shoulder pads or the fur coat/vest worn by the actor George Lucas used as a stand in for Jabba in A New Hope before they cut Jabba’s scene
Did we need vader in the game he's been in every star wars media within this period movies, animation, tv shows and any video game from disney
Why even have him make an appearance when you can't even get his voice right
One the voice isn’t to bad
2 the games take place in moments of vaders prime activity in the empire so of course he would be everywhere and he has a good reason to be he desperately wants to find the rebels and this is a good opportunity to get them so he wants to make it work
@@BJackson-kg5drNah, the voice is shit. It sounds nothing like Vader.
If anything, you do not want to test Vader’s patience or even make him angry 💀
Lord Vader.
Doesn’t matter what he’s in nowadays, Vader always steals the show lol
Vader‘s Badassery: ✅
Vader’s Voice: 💀
Also, I’m surprised Vader didn’t straight up snap Barsha’s neck Fox Style considering how this is the same pissy Vader who was dropping Imp Officers like it was rebel Christmas in TESB.
The fact none of you are talking abt how sleek the cinematography for that first cutscene is crazy. Also the VA for Vader is the same one from the other Star Wars games, Scott Lawrence. He's been around since the 90s SW games. You guys needa take it down several notches with the hate for bros voice lmao
It's not his fault, obviously. But they did mess it up, you can't deny that
That was a iconic Cameo ever
The game might not be good but these scenes are fire
Vader sounds so weird
It's more realistic
Its probably a new actor they never did reuse the same voice actors for voicing him in the games
@@demarkusgivens428it's the same actor from Fallen Order and Survivor. Scott Lawrence. He's the best vader, after James Earl Jones of course.
The voice effects are off, but I think the intonation and cadence are solid
Darth vader voice sounds almost familiar in Star wars rebels.
Vader was mad, because he had to cameo for this crap.
The Voice Acting is surprisingly good but the facial animations do leave a lot to be desired
Good thing Vader doesn't need facial animation
My Lord!
Dude Vader never fails to impress in these games. He's like boogeyman of the Star wars universe.
It's endlessly cool to me that he just shows up and Kay has no clue wtf just happened. It really sells that nobody really believes in the force anymore and it feels like the reaction someone would have if someone did real ass magic in the real world.
reminds me of the old cgi trailers for force unleashed.
Lord Vader more like Lord Auto tune
Looks like Vader decided to branch out on his intimidation tactics with the glass shards, maybe he just needed a small break from the whole choking stick.
I feel like Vader carried the game
I don't know if its me, but Jaylen and Sirro looks like Roman Reigns and a well groomed Dean Ambrose.
Guys the VA is the same one from the Jedi games
0:43 What happened to his voice? Is his mask broken? This isn't what Vader sounds like in Star Wars media
James Earl Jones retired from the role. He doesn’t voice him anymore. Disney has rights to use AI with his voice from here on out.

I dont know how true this is but this is supposed to be the same voice actor for Vader that was used in Star Wars Survivor. Who added all the extra effects to his voice? It sounds like he's talking through a bad radio in an air vent.
Something is definitely off with Vaders voice. It even sounds kind of like Starkiller with the suit.

Just make a Vader solo game already for Christs sake. Make the combat brutal too.
I love this different sounding voice so much.

man its hard to get use to darth vaders new voice actor
Ngl i like vaders voice in this i think it fits well
Wow, so the scene at 2:09 seems to use the Battlefront 2 Vader model; I assume this scene was made early on because the Vader scene physically is an entirely new model.
The fact the stormtroopers let him get shot was straight up hilarious
WHAT IS THAT VADER VOICE LMAO
Alright you all watched the one scene you wouldve bought the game for
Vader's whole stunt with the glass, in addition to being a cool visual and show of force, is also his way of saying that the guy's standing within the Empire is quite... fragile. I'd say it got the point across.
Darth Vader needs to have his own game! I’m so tired of being the hero in every game. I don’t mind being a villain once in a while! ⚫️⚪️
The only problem with this scene is the lack of the imperial theme, it's always a must have
The more you keep putting Vader in things the less scary he is
I mean that is true of everything. The more you know something the less scary they are.
The voice isn’t the same but I don’t think it’s a really bad voice it’s a good back up voice and I don’t expect every game to have the same voice for him
Goddamn stop complaining for everything lol this thing it's cool, has some Shadows of The Empire vibes
Yeah besides, that director guy has some Gucci stuff on his shoulders, he surely got a better drip than director Krennic
discount nicholas cage was good. Really good.
This voice actor is an insult to vader
Wait is ND-5 A traitor to Kay Vess, or is he undercover?
I finally understand why the game looks how it is. 99% of its budget went in cinematics
I kinda like this. Cause like in rebels he just stops hunting the crew after season 2 and I always wondered why. But now its like yeh he had shit to do.
All seasons of Rebels are 4 years before this.
Vader is such a great boss
If you're talking crazy to a guy and the glass behind him starts spontaneously cracking, I think it's time to stop speaking.
Sliro had failed Darth Vader for the last time. He ended up let Sliro’s brother to do his dirty work instead.
When the game is so bad they gotta throw a Darth Vader cameo in it. Couldn’t even afford a good voice actor for him either
