Bad news for 😢 and my beloved 07 4runner which goes my the name Reus. I lifted her up yesterday on a 4 post lifted and had a mechanic check it with a camera cable device. We fish the cable up between the bell Housing and engine after moving the clip and saw some oil on the rear main seal😢. SUCKS MAN sucks
@airsoftmechanic I cleaned it again after a while I saw a bit of coming from around the clip. I still having doubt, but I going clean it again and lift the 4runner while running.

Sorry to hear you have a rear main seal leak! That’ll be an expensive fix..
@airsoftmechanic I got it and the valve cover gasket for $700. I dislike the point on breaking apart the engine.
“Very good! I like that.”
I can hear it in that voice too lololol
I am seeing the same issue on my 4runner but I don't want to believe it's the rear main seal.
someone must have reversed my skid plates because i had to take the trans one down also just to get the front one off
When you move the clip at the bottom of the transmission, did you see any oil running down.
No I didn’t!
@airsoftmechanic when I move the black trim clip, I saw a bit of oil
@@doobedi Did you clean it, drive around, and then checked again? If not, try that and see if it leaks again

@@doobedi Hoping it's not the rear main seal (Knocking on wood)
You must not live in a salt belt, cause the underneath of your forerunner is so clean. The frame is clean. I see no rust.
Correct! I live in Texas. Normally I don’t have to deal with snow or salt as it’s rare down here
Where did you get the oil pan gasket and what's the part #?
