Enjoyed that, especially your first reaction to the silky surface! "So soft. So soft. So soft". Brilliant. I'm really intrigued to feel how different it is to other pitches. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for doing this. Looks great on the table and can't wait to see it in action. Sliding players on this pitch will be a tad different to match the 'conditions' but it doesn't take long to acclimatise. Excellent presentation - enjoyed the fact you took the time to lay it out and I hope it does your ground justice. Any hassles let me know
Any update Gas? I'm interested in what you found was the best way to lay it, being so thin and allegedly not gripping to other pitches did you try it without anything under? I've got one on the way so am racking my brains ahead of arrival on potential ways to make it firm enough to aid the slide but spongey enough to dampen the ball running, maybe a cunning way to attach a thin felt to the back, I'm a noob tho so would appreciate any advice
I'll do an updated review as soon as I can, but have really had no problems with it just laid on top of the old nylon pitch. I've used no glue or pins whatsoever and really not experienced any issues.

It's been a bit of a touch sensation lately as I bought the training pitch as well, which is completely different again.
