GCLR Episode 16 Wonderful Wrens & Bothersome Buttercups

Welcome to Episode 16, which is quite a relaxed operating day with three locomotives working passenger & freight.
In the last week, the area has been filled with the sweet sound of a Wonderful 'Little Wren' that packs a loud song and fills the air with sweet happiness, sometimes drowning out the noise of trains, and its amazing from such a tiny little bird, that loves flitting between the bushes.
It's lovely to have some wild flowers that grow along the GCLR, with Wild Violets, and a creeping buttercup that almost forms a deep cutting for the trains to pass. However creeping is the right words, is succulent stems grow over, under and in-between the rails and sleepers, and into points causing a couple of derailments today, but took a while to detect. It's become almost a daily task to keep cutting them back.
